What people like
- App runs smoothly without issues
- Free version gives a general idea
What they complain about
- Only one set of questions available
- Questions never shuffle or change
- Answers lack explanations for why they are correct
- Customer support is impossible to reach
- Same content exists in cheaper PDF guides
Bought the premium
So, been studying and using this as supplimentental material. Some answers just conflict the outright definition.and theres no way to report or flag it. Waste of money.
Don’t waste your money
This is a very expensive app to get you test material. Except its ONE test over and over again. No new questions. If you have good memory you could easily be lulled into thinking your improving your score but you are just recognizing the questions. Not cool! I have spent a lot of money on “products” for CLEP that have been useless. The study guide is not a study guide its just a guide telling you how they calculate score etc. I shouldn't have had to pay an extra $10 for that! Since we don't have a choice about where to get credits I use the service but just like sat/gre/mcat these are all just scams to get money from students and to put barriers in the way of people getting degrees.
Broken app
The free version is fine for a general idea of what you should be studying, but I would not recommend buying any of the tests. Most of the questions are broken, nonsensical, and will not help you study.
Impossible to get refund
App works fine. No more content than the $10 pdf study guide you can buy on clep’s website. Not worth buying the $15 study guide on the app if you get the $10 pdf version. It is impossible to get in contact with a representative who can help with this app.
Worst app ever
I bought this hoping to get good material but it’s the exact same questions as my modern states final just over and over again. I can’t even get my money back and I’m not even going to use it.
Same as the study guide, $5 more
For 14.99 you get the same questions asked on the CLEP Official Study guide. It is only one set of questions (100 total). The app works better as a flash card model, which may make it worth the extra $5. Just disappointed they didn’t offer more/different questions from the study guide they have online.
Not worth the squeeze
Only like 3 of the questions I seen on the app was on the exam. I passed but that was from other materials. It’s a waste of money
Just ok
For the price I figured I’d be getting a lot more value. There’s no really study guide, just multiple Choice questions that never shuffle. It will tell you which answer is correct, but not why. I found better study guides for free online.
Terrible. Do not purchase.
I paid $15 for the premium version to review specific topics for my College Composition CLEP exam, which is a total waste of money. There are only 92 questions available that never shuffle. Called customer service during operating hours to get a refund because of the terrible quality and it went straight to voicemail that sounded completely unprofessional. An embarrassment to College Board and unbelievable they endorse this on the website. Maybe only worth downloading for the free version if you want one practice test.
One set of questions?
Very disappointed, unless I’m missing something?
Listen to the reviews
Bought the app because I have the Spanish clep coming up and wanted to study but the stats and review feature don't even work. Waste of money.
It’s just Ok.
The app is fine, works smoothly enough. The content for the price is the problem, I do t mind paying for things if there is value. This app and each lesson is maybe worth $5 each currently. Not enough questions, no study guides, the areas to focus on feature isn’t that great. The questions In the test don’t shuffle.
Poor usability
I already bought the exam guide online and it won’t let me sign in to my college board account. I’m able to log in on my laptop but I think they just want you to pay for an app version of the guide. Don’t bother.
It’s literally just the study guide
Don’t pay for this app. When you are purchasing the test, you can pay $10 and get the exam study guide. Is it really a study guide? Not really. But that’s not what I’m reviewing. The study guide has all the same questions that are on this app. The study guide is cheaper. So I just spent $15 for questions I already had. Such a rip off.
Waste of money
This app is a complete waste of money. You only get 1 test. That’s all. Study guide is useless. No review. No study help. 1 test. That’s all!
No help
There are 88 questions to review. 1 of these questions was on the test. The rest were a waste of studying time.
