Made the switch ~
After watching another Utah news channel and not getting the absolute news I made the change ~ so glad to be here with Fox! Diane M.
Bias News
Sorry, we usually watch Fox13 news everyday. But we are getting tired of how bias your news app is. My blood pressure goes up when I read your political propaganda.
Where’d the local time and “news ticker” go while watching on Apple TV
Everything seems to work nicely for live news/ broadcasting except for missing these two very convenient items. It’s a Utah channel/app broadcasting Utah news/weather, I don’t see why those can’t be included for anyone/everyone who downloads this app regardless of where they are.
Fox 13 app
Fox 13 is the only news we watch. And we are considering changing news channels because the commercials repeat its self over and over and over one right after another. And it’s super frustrating.
Bad livestreams
Can never get the live feeds to play on iOS.
Chromecast?
Any chance you could make this app chromecast compatible? Casting>mirroring
Absurd amount of ads
The amount of ads in this app is ridiculous, especially considering how many commercials they run during their live news broadcast. to run a 30 second ad for breaking news as well as weather conditions is just plain greed.
Road tripping
I have that BMX bike that was on ur show exactly I had the same bike back in the 80’s loved it then love it now
Stop grabbing my clipboard contents
This app is always grabbing my clipboard contents. It is not necessary and annoying, please remove this functionality. Other than that, I enjoy reading the news.
Great for reading, awful for watching
The ads that play before a video are typically 30 seconds in length but the video player plays them repeatedly. I refuse to even try to get through the video ads anymore. Also, if I tilt my phone for full screen the ads start over. I’ve used this app for the last 3-4 years and, in total, I’ve probably made it through the video ads fewer than ten times. I staunchly avoid the videos attached to stories for this reason. Otherwise it’s relatively good content and well placed/timed push notifications.
Clear Information
The app is very clear on information without ad interference. Love it
Cannt access
Every time I click on the app fox13 pops up and then goes back to my Home Screen. This a has been a issue for 2 weeks
newer is not necessarily better
I liked the old version of the app better.
Story Headlines
The new App looks cool the only issue I have it the story headlines get cut off when I’m browsing for stories I want to read before I could see the whole headline in the old app and know if it was something I wanted to read about now I have to click most stories just to see what the rest of the headline says
Needs some love
Ever since I got the new version it’s become very finicky. If my screen rotates it pauses, I can’t minimize it either and work on other things. Every time it gets touched it pauses automatically and then when I press play the volume quits and I have to completely restart the app all over again. Other wise... I love the news and watching your channel. Thanks!
Like it
Like this app a lot. It’s easy to navigate and I get the option of which notifications I want to receive.
Full of bugs
This app is full of bugs. Stories won’t fully load, so you can only read the beginning half. While watching a video and you turn the screen so that it is full screen, the app will close the video and back to the screen with the headlines. After reading an story, when you back out, it’s jumps up instead of keeping your spot where you were at. This app was great a few years ago. Now it’s just terrible.
Great site!
The Fox News app lets me see the news without interference from adds, and facts are presented without a lot of interference from the far left or the far right.
Keeps crashing
It was good until it’s last update, now it will not open it just crashes.
Great App for Local News
I love the straight forward layout and easy to read stories. It is where I go to find out what is going on in the Salt Lake City area.
Fox News
If you wanna hear about a child dying at the worst time follow this app
My News Source
In this mixed up world and polarized reporting. Fox 13 news app has become my go to news source.
Ads are a huge problem
I like their content but I finally had to delete because the ads embedded in the articles would open web pages and the App Store with the slightest unintentional touch. I’d emailed them multiple times but the might dollar is apparently more important than your privacy. Most of the crap posted from their poorly chosen ad revenue partner is lowbrow clickbait. Makes the app look trashy. I’m checking out KUTVs app.
Great!
Great app for local Utah news
Wow
Not even a pass at even coverage. If you are brain dead and a liberal probably a great app.
Fox 13 App
Love this app, it’s always up to date and super easy to use! Great to get alerts sent to my phone. Awesome
Goodbye
Just now deleted your app. Not going to use it any longer and have OLD news videos blaring at me when I want to JUST READ. There are plenty other news apps for me without yours. Good bye and good luck. 👋 👋
Nice app
Yeah it’s nice to get my local news whenever wherever. It’s easy to use and without waiting on tv commercials
Automatic ad pop
You get a one for having an ad that automatically triggers if you scroll passed it.
