This app is...
Love that I can watch me some RSL games on this app!! It has the casting option but has never been able to Cromecast, which is sad that I can’t see RSL on the big screen 😢, but I have the Channel on Roku which has been a great alternative. It is awesome that we can watch games that have been missed but it would be delicious if there was some sort of schedule of when you are playing previous games so that I can get on a watch when you are playing missed games and not hoping your playing the game I missed, or jumping into the middle of the missed game and have everything spoiled. Love that we can watch RSL for free, thanks KSL for making this happen 😀.
Apple TV app needs improvement
The apple tv app is super clunky and frustrating to use.
Cast to my tv
How come I no longer see the cast symbol so I can cast it to my tv’s??? I’ve tried deleting the app and putting it back on and I still don’t get it. Please help!
This app slapps
What is wrong with all these reviews? Seems like a bunch of anti techies or government spies... I got this to watch yer boi smash some rugby and it’s worked like a dream. Live laugh love.
Waste of time
This is a terrible app, don’t waste your time downloading it. When you try to watch the news live. It gives you a prerecorded video instead a total waste of time.
Only a pre recorded program again today for noon news.
Same thing again!!! I only get a pre recorded programing for live tv news, Timing is still off several minutes. It is no longer a user friendly app. 🤨🤨
Good when it works
I love the app…. when it works! But it is frequently buggy. It will repeat things mid broadcast so you have the watch a bunch over again. This is especially true on the Apple TV app of KSL TV. I live KSL and when this happens I usually switch to Fox 13 which I don’t like as much.
Lots of streaming
Easy to use app with lots of streaming options including ksl tv, ksl radio, uvu sports and the ksl roof cam at the station.
App stopped working
The app for Apple TV has stopped working completely as of January 2026. I have notified KSL but have yet to hear back concerning the issue.
Each release is better than the next
This app is constantly like 3 steps forward 2 steps back. The most current release has more or less killed app user’s ability to interact with comments. The current build has a terrible connection to the feed. Open the app wait minutes for the stories to load. Finally you start refining the look of the comment section but fail to separate the like and the report buttons so people using one hand stretching to hit like can accidentally hit report half the time. KSL stop making things worse and when you make changes make sure you change to make the app better not just change for change sake.
RSL stream quality poor
I love being able to stream RSL games for free is awesome but the stream quality is pretty terrible. Feels like 540p on my tv, I can barely identify the players. It does look ok on a small screen like a phone, but pretty bad on a large television

Love watching RSL games live plus being able to catch up on all the LDS Conference documentaries is wonderful!!
Lousy update
Unstable on my Apple TV, will not let it activate! I suspect it’s due to the insatiable need to track every single thing I do and since I have chosen to use private relay in my sign in. Will not use ever again.
Optimize for tablets please
I don’t understand why the KSL apps haven’t been optimized to rotate to a landscape view on tablets?

News, Lifestyle, Sports, and live streaming. This is a great local app! I can come to KSL TV app anytime to get my fix of Studio 5 and to listen to or watch past sessions of General Conference sessions. I can tune in to local news any time. It’s easy and I love the convenience!

Ads, ads and ads.
This is the worst app experience I’ve ever encountered. It’s all commercials and I can’t locate the “ongoing coverage” promised by the TV station. Awful. I’m deleting it now. Didn’t even get to actual stream content.
Slow to load articles
This app is very, very slow to load articles that you select, to the point of being painful at times. Becoming bigger is not always better, the old app was superior in this regard.
Incredible new design
Much better than the old app. Feels like a Netflix app. Very easy to use and lots of live streaming video.
Frustrating
KSL+ used to be a good app to watch the news, but now it stinks. Sports are not shown with the live feed. The 10:00pm broadcast is days old, making it irrelevant. The Sunday night sports broadcast is always cut short when it could be seen. Plus, no one wants to see the last five minutes of the NBC show before the news. Lastly, now there’s a cavalcade of ads we have to endure just to catch up on the news. In conclusion, every time there is a change on the steaming service, it’s a change for the worse.
Version 6.1
I have to delete it and down load it again in order for it to open to more than a black screen. Trouble getting it to rotate. One I go through all the hoops, it works fine…….until next time.
So much better!
This new app is great! Thank you KSL. We have both the iPhone and Apple TV versions. This new version of the app has so much more stuff and is much more stable. I’m looking forward to watching all of the Royals games this season.
Waste of time
I thought DEI was dead, not at KSL. The only thing that this station is good for is the weather.
Two big problems
The app constantly asks me if I love it. If I say no it wants me to talk to support. If I say yes it takes me to the store to leave a review. If I wanted to leave a review I would. Secondly, many times I click on the notification of a story I am interested in and it does not get me all the way to the story. Sometimes it is the app asking if I love it like a needy date. Other times it just doesn’t go anywhere. I think it might be if I have it open already. It works okay when you can get to what you want. Just don’t count on it.
Excellent
Thank you for providing this app. The news broadcast coverage along with other local programming is very welcome indeed by everyone worldwide who would like to keep in touch with happenings in the Beehive State. The HD broadcast quality is really excellent. Great to see Doug Wright in the new Sunday Edition and Music & The Spoken Word, General Conference weekend programming, etc.
Horrible
Needs a lot of work. Way to much “forced advertising”. Portrait mode and landscape mode are hard to work with. Help! Update: I contacted KSL via email re: app won’t rotate. They replied..be patient. I finally after boo coo time, lost patients, and deleted the app! GOOD GRIEF! 3.5 ratings are proof!
Where is the story?
This is the dumbest app. The notification tells you about a story but you can't find it when you go to the app. Stick with other news sources.
Pop up stories
Great concept but stories pop-up on your Lock Screen that are interesting. When you click on the story, the app opens and cannot find the story. Frustrating enough that I deleted the app.
Volume needs work
The commercials are really loud and the actual newscast is so quiet. It’s hard to watch because you have to constantly mess with the volume.
