What people like
- Great team builder for battles
- Covers almost every game and feature
- Simple and easy to use
- Free version has good basic info
What they complain about
- Ads interrupt you constantly
- App crashes or freezes often
- Too much info locked behind paywall
- Some Pokémon data is wrong or missing
So easy!
I was looking for an app on my phone that I could use for my Pokémon games and I wasn't expecting it to actually be this simple and easy. Like everything you really need is there the most helpful part is definitely the locations.
Data Wrong
Garchomp’s speed is 102 rather than 122 in champion. Most of base stats are wrong. Check all data!!!
Cute, and useful.
It’s a cute app that works okay from what I can tell. I even dropped cash to go premium. Just double check with some of the information. The one that comes to mind is espurr. They have it marked as doesn’t evolve, but it does into meowstic at level 25. They have it marked as doesn’t evolve. They have them both listed with meowstic’s gender forms, but not they are connected.
To many ads
I opened this app and literally every two seconds there is an ad. I don’t mind ads every once in a while. I realize it is how people make a living, but every two seconds? Come one. This needs to be fixed or you’ve lost me.
I Like Pro Dex
Make National Dex FREE
Amazing But Only One Request
I love how simple it makes all of the information about the games but I really wish it would tell you the location on where to get certain items.
just use safari tbh
why even offer a free pokedex if you can’t access the national pokedex without buying it? downloaded and deleted in the same five minutes.
Natures
What happened to natures? You can’t select them anymore in teams. Can you fix that? Also, please allow the ability to show what shinies look like in teams!
Bug Needs to be fixed
This app is amazing. It shows every game’s Pokédex, moves, and abilities. However there is one major bug that needs to be fixed. Every time I get on the app it lets me use it fine for about a minute but then closes itself out on my phone, forcing me to have to reopen it just to have the same thing happen again. The app itself is amazing but the bug makes it practically unusable.
Checklists Do Nothing
Checklists do nothing but say the game name on my iPhone 17 Pro Max
Goat
Best
Not free.
If you want literally half of everything you have to pay for it. Over half the pokemon are just straight up missing in the Pokédex without paying for premium. Theres websites with this exact information for free. 0/10 do not recommend
My honest feedback
This is by far the best Pokédex on the entire App Store based on how much is available, however I am hoping the developers can add a favorite Pokémon feature to the app that is not paid, and allows someone to see all the Pokémon they most likely use for each game. Additionally, there could be a further paid version where someone can sort their favorite Pokémon by gimmick region, type, stats, and moves learned as some examples. In conclusion I hope something like this is possible in the future with both a free, and paid version if needed.
Checklists don’t even work.
They aren’t easy to use to check off pokemon you collect, they bug and crash the game whenever you try and go through the inconvenience of adding a pokemon as “ticked off” you also can’t see the pokemon you have already got. You have to go through every pokemon manually to see if the little symbol is there.
It's alright
Some info like flying press isn't working, the info for moves is inconsistent, some mons don't have shinies shown, search filters don't allow you to filter mono types, and also have very few filters, and the UI isn't very intuitive. but other than that it works great, and i love the team builder :D
App crashing after the recent update
I was making strategy set for eevee when I hit the let’s go problem with it
What happened with ads??
I have been using this app for over a year now, and loved this app as a free user, even with the ads, because they were relatively unobtrusive. Suddenly, with a recent update, the ads have started appearing nearly every time I touch ANYTHING in the app. I am no longer going to use it, and will not be forced into buying pro - I was actually considering it until now.
Suggestion
I like app but you should add a battling feature to it
Abilities
You have a bug with team maker I can’t give any abilities
Payer pour checklist ?????
Faut mettre 1€ pour juste cocher les Pokemon qu’on a ou jsuis fou et j’ai rien compris ? J’ai pas la patience
Great for all Pokémon fans
The latest updates have made this my go to app for all my catching and battling needs! Highly recommend to anyone who loves playing Pokémon
Litteral scam
So, I just got it today, stuff locked, cannot log on pokemons for the pokedex, litteral SCAM
One of my must haves for a Pokemon play through
I love this app it’s just the thing I need for when I’m struggling on a gym leader. But the one thing I don’t like is that most of the good stuff is locked behind paywall and I know yall have to make money but come on. But other than that this is the only app I will use for my Pokemon play throughs.
Za added to the Mega Pack at no extra cost, yeah no.
So while the app itself is great, recently in regards to Za’s implementation, we were told that it would be added to the mega pack at no extra cost, I have the mega pack and after deleting the app and restoring purchases like 5 times, still asking for me to pay for it. Is this not a bit misleading? Would really appreciate some help or an explanation on this.
It’s just the ads
My brother got scared of the ads so please remove them
Goat Pokédex game
All my brothers have ProDex and we all love building teams and checking lists of pokemon we caught 10/10
Pay for basic stuff
I can’t look at a damn thing with having a pay wall being shoved in my face, it also crashes constantly.
Great app but…
First of all I love this app but what I’ve recently came across is a bug which makes it so I can’t access Pokemon data or any data on the app of sort. Please fix this as it’s beginning to effect how I use the app
Paid for it BUT GET ADS
As above
Laggy at times
When I scroll through Pokémon to check off my national dex number, it’s REALLY laggy and a few of the Pokémon don’t have the official art such as iron boulder, gouging fire, Ogerpon hearthflame, wellspring, and cornerstone mask
Pro/premium worth it!!
The base/free version is good but the ads after a while gets annoying, having an option to pay once to avoid ads and unlock more features. To me was worth it The price isn’t too bad either. I recommend this app over the other Pokédex apps out there.
meh
Where is caterpie and its evolved forms
Amazing
App has been a great help with tracking the progress of my living dex and building my different teams throughout the games but I do wish that I could toggle how the pokemon look on the info page. E.g. having the sprites/ shiny variant depending on the game
Don’t really like it
The reason why it’s don’t really like it is because it doesn’t show you all the Pokémon and I’ve been in love with Pokémon my whole life. If your a fan of Pokémon you should know bulbasaur comes before charmander so pls pls pls fix your app🙏🏻. And all of the reasons go for all of the generations 1 through 9 and all of the Pokémon in all of the generations pls pls pls.
Not a bad app
I can’t seem to find what level and what to each Pokémon evolve
By far the best Pokemon Game Tool
It really has everything you might possibly need. Type charts, team-builders, route information, TM locations, egg groups, what moves a Pokemon can learn, NPC trainer info, food recipes (for SV and SS), item info, etc. I don’t often review apps, but truly the developers of this app put so much thought into it, and covered pretty much everything a player might need for a Pokemon game (and it’s free, at least at the time of writing). This is straight up the best app if you’re looking for any sort of mainline Pokemon game info database/team-builder/whatever.
It’s just ads
After a few seconds, the app closes and it shows a full screen unstoppable video ad. Uninstalled after 2 mins. Thanks for wasting my time.
Pointless update
On the Pokédex the formdex is basically useless as you need money to access it so why add, but the description of the form like for g-max or mega or battle form is amazing. Then the item menu has a problem the filter you also have to pay for which made it harder to use and is rubbish and also give an explanation about an item that has a hard to understand description and I think you should do the same with the moves too.
Good but missing basic features
This will be a 5 star review if I could turn off national dex for each generation.
Decent, but lacks features.
Currently no way to search all Pokémon, search is restricted to game versions, which is very frustrating. No way to view Pokémon by type.
App
This app is beast
Useless app
For a Pokédex app to have a checklist hidden behind a paywall is literally no point. I deleted the app after 10 seconds because of this. What’s the point in a Pokédex if you can’t use a checklist. May aswell use the Pokédex on the Pokémon games itself
A great app to use to prep for tournaments
A great app to use i deffo recommend it to pokémon players who are prepping for tournaments and battles etc. The only weird thing about it is that you can give your pokémon moves and abilities that it can’t learn. This isn’t ideal because u can plan it out on this app but in game it doesn’t work. Overall a really good app and i totally recommend it.
Looks nice, but functions averagely
I downloaded this app to find out a few things while playing Pokémon Shield, and I saw this was one of the higher rated ones. It’s got everything set out into particular categories to help you navigate your way into what you need. However, the nice looks dont help when the app crashes whenever you try and search a Pokémon’s name, and the full screen ads that you can’t get out of, even when they’re finished, make for an average experience. I’d almost be willing to pay for premium to circumvent this, but it doesn’t explicitly state, nor compare, what the difference between premium and free is. It’s a great looking app but it’s frustrating to use.
Needs to fix a major bug
After paying $8.99 for the full app, only to find that the filter function freezes the whole app and does not work in the end. Everything else seems to work.
The Very Best That No One Ever Was
This app is the go to for on the go Pokémon info. I use it all the time prepping teams for VGC and for general Pokémon knowledge. A must have if you play Pokémon.
Missing features
Not easy marking off ones you’ve caught , doesn’t tell you how to evolve or what level it evolves at nor base stats
Great app
Just takes a while to open the parties tab (although i do have a lot of them)
Nah
this app is azz
Missing Pokémon
It is missing Pokémon. Like starly and it’s tree And GEODUDE one of the first generation
