Lost my journal
I love the creativity of this app. It’s almost perfect for me. However, it has a lot of issues when synching with iCloud. This morning I went to write in a journal and the pages were all gone. I went to the restore option in settings but they were not an option. I lost a detailed journal and I’m unhappy about it. However, as for the creativity, it’s top notch.
Paywalls
The templates require a free trial subscription that only last 7 days. With it most of the features aren’t available.
Just too expensive
It’s a great program, but I can get two others and still have change left over, $49.99 right now is just too much. I honestly would pay $24.00 , that’s my journal app limit right now. I’m not knocking the App, the price is just a tad out of touch for people right now, and its subscription as well so 50.00 dollars a year is a lot to ask.
Obsessed
Genius!! Organizing, list making, calendar /planner and canva. Takes like zero time to learn app and put an adorable planner together. IN LOVE in it every time I have extra time kind of addictive🩷

Update issues
I love this app, but every time there is an update, I feel like it causes issues and problems in the app. Please get these updates working properly before pushing them. This is an app that I use every day to help me stay organized and when it has problems, it has the potential to really impact my day and sometimes I wonder if it’s worth keeping and paying for when there are other free apps like Goodnotes out there. 8/26-I HATE this new update. It takes more clicks just to enter text. Why can’t I just tap the space on my page I want to write in, now I have to go to the top and click to “add text” then I have to click where I want it…why are we adding steps? Also, now when I want to adjust the line spacing, I have to “see more” options and it doesn’t even give me a number, just a sliding bar, which isn’t helpful. I feel like it is getting worse instead of better and I think at the end of the year I need to cancel my subscription and just start using one of the free apps.
Don’t like the recent update
Before this recent update, you could change the color of most solid and white colored Washi tapes, some stickers, and solid colored lettering. They took this feature away as far as I know. If it’s still a feature, it’s difficult to figure out. I hope they bring this feature back

Lost all my projects
I paid for this app in January and with the latest update, the app would even open. I reached out to tech support and was able to get the app to open but all my projects are gone. I lost 8 months worth of work that I am unable to get back. It’s not been almost 2 months that I haven’t even had access to the app. Apparently it’s an iCloud issue but why are my projects not saved on an account in the app. Beyond frustrating.

I really liked this app the main reason I downloaded it was because the app name is very similar to my name and I rated this 5 stars was because idk but there is one problem it says lock….but if it actually locks it would blur and have a password but it doesn’t so that needs to be improved

C’est bien fait mais si tu paye pas ya une limite de 3 de page, alors si tu veux prendre plus de note tu dois effacer et si tu avais besoin de revoir tes note tu les effacer. Ça devient compliqué. alors facile à utiliser esthétiquement c’est bien, mais l’abonnement en vaut pas la peine, aussi bien acheter un cahier ou écrire dans note pour moins cher voir gratuit et plus de choix
Newest update
The newest update with the floating toolbar is horrible. It’s not helpful at all. Too much extra clicking. There is no more long hold to get the copy and paste. I have to click the tool bar click copy and then click the tool bar and click paste. Yes the duplicate tool is nice but I still need to click into the tool bar for it. It would be nice if they keep the option for us to decide what tool bar style we prefer. Honestly the tool bar issue is enough for me to want to look into something else. It’s too frustrating. I’m using zinnia to journal multiple times a day and it’s made it harder.

SO MANY PAYWALLS
This would be a good app if it wasnt for the paywalls. You need to pay for everything and its just a waste of storage if you want somthing free. This app is HORRIBLE, ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE for kids like me whos parents wont pay for the subscription.

I love planning in the app but…
I love making planners with this app. But I have not been able to rely in it as a planner as it has two huge problems for me: 1. It crashes too many times when I’m working on it, which is a major inconvenience when using it daily. 2. It does not always work offline which makes it unreliable for serious planning specially when Im travelling which is when I need my planner the most.

i wasn’t exactly sure how to use the app at first, but now that I do it’s cool. I don’t exactly think that it deserves the 5 stars but I put it so you could read it. Honestly, I think that if it could make some more stuff free, it would be amazing! I was planning on using this app for my first year into middle school, but all of the good school stuff I have to pay for, and my parents don’t let me pay for stuff like this, in an app. Also maybe try to make it so That we can have more than three pages, and three books. That’s only nine pages! That’s not even half of one of my journals! Like I said just maybe try to make some more things free, and it will be great! Developers Please write back!

I really like this app, I think it is aesthetically pleasing and fun to use, I would highly recommend for people who like organising in style!
Premium only is worth it
The templates are cute but there aren’t a whole lot of them available for free which is fair. What really sucks is that you only get like 2-3 pages of a single notebook, you have to pay for more than 2 pages in a planner app. I think that’s crazy tbh. $7 a month for the bare minimum of more than 2 pages in a book. Overall it’s only really worth it if you get premium.
My opinion
If it was a free app. And like you gave us five or less that are free. And then if want more we have to pay for them. And then the like stuff to add designs or like stickers 90% of them free and then 10% to pay for. I would and probably other people would love the app way more.
Love this app!
I got this app to help me stay on top of my school and work and even day 2 day. It’s bees so helpful! Love all of the templates it has and it’s really motivated me to keep track of my schedule and assignments.
Information missing
There have been frequent instances of going into my notes that I keep and having them go missing, or having blank pages in their place. I am not a fan of paying for these to be kept, and this being the result.

Experience with this app
It’s such an amazing app, but I’m looking for an app like this, but the fact that this app is charging money is a really big disappointment if you’re not expected and I would recommend this app, but I would not recommend it because of the choices like you should really change the charges like if the person that made this app changed the price or like I don’t know. I have no price at all. People would start coming to this Apple Watch because I just downloaded it and I was really disappointed when I saw that you had to charge like they charged you and we had to pay so it was not a really good experience.

Great but having to pay isn’t great
The app is brilliant, don’t get my lower review wrong, but having to pay for a simple writing app on a subscription basis is just wrong, I believe for £35 I should get everything for life, I used this to help my mental health by journaling and I am a tech guy so I like to use the Apple Pencil to journal rather than pen and paper. It’s a shame that such a great app is heavily hampered by paywalls and subscriptions. Side note, if anyone reading this knows if I can copy the writing into something else then let me know.

Suddenly buggy
I use Zinnia every day. I love it. However, in the past couple of weeks the erase tool has switched to what can only be described as ‘random’ mode, where it seems like it’s playing ball and then suddenly erases random parts of the page. It’s gone from being my main note-taking tool to being borderline useless. I’ve reported the problem but putting in the ratings so it will get a quicker fix.
Thoughts
I always wanted to do a scrapbook journal but it was always too time consuming. This lets me journal my thoughts, be creative and also it’s portable. I journal daily cause it’s fun. The frequent updates are awesome. If you want a scrapbook, journal or diary, this is a great one
Disappointed-Smart Invert
I am mostly blind and have to use Dark Mode and Smart Invert but this app doesn’t work with either of those so it’s not accessibility friendly. The stickers, letters, etc turn the opposite color when you try to use those features. Normally, I would just find something I liked that’s the opposite color set but it doesn’t work with this app. Everything looks bad when you do this and the pages end up looking like a negative photo image sort of It’s the only app that works like this so I am extremely sad I can’t use it.
Worth the money.. mostly
I have been using this app for a few months now and I do really enjoy it. It’s a good app for normal typing journals but my personal favourite way to use the app is to use as a recap of the month or the day. It’s also a good platform that doesn’t lag which can sometimes be common in these types of apps. My only complaint / feedback would be that I wish there were more drawing utensils, I like calligraphy writing most for my journals but the options are limited in terms of thickness and pen type, the fountain pen writes okay but I end up using the highlighter to write as it reacts better to the apple pen I’m using. I’m happy to pay the monthly bill though I do wish I was getting more options for dragging from other apps like Pinterest or shops to create boards that I can refer back to in the future as a lot of the time I’m using the app for journaling or wedding planning.
Overall Good
It is a well-designed platform and free to use unless you opt for the premium version. However, the cost for premium features can be quite high. If you are not willing to pay, I would not recommend it, as there are more cost-effective alternatives. For instance, Apple’s Freeform app is completely free and comes pre-installed on Apple devices, though users without one may need to download it separately. I I used the platform for a while, but I found it quite limiting. Access to certain features is restricted, and the amount of digital paper available is limited unless you purchase the premium version.
Money
Me personally am not a money spender.I know the game is not designed for secondary school age people but I thought this would be my big break where I could finally get organised.I was fully prepared to burn all my paper journals that get ruined so easily! The point is you need to pay money while I know £34 per year isn’t that much compared to other apps they hang it over your head! You can hardly get anything ANYTHING for free you will go on a category and only one of the things is free! And get this I wanted a calander but only 1 month was free are you kidding me. The game is absolutely amazing it reaches all of your expectantions ONLY if you have premium. I know I’m just complaining but I wanted to make a bullet journal but you can only use 3 pages before the limit. I don’t see the point. If your willing to pay money it’s amazing no improvement needed but if you aren’t this is not the app for you! Sorry for ranting I know there is no app without subscription fees but all I’m asking is for there to be a larger variety of free things and more pages!
