Most info of the 3 stations
I must say, this app has far more stories than those from the other two Richmond stations. Their stories seem to have more depth of information, as well. I don’t have a favorite local newscast, but this app is great.
CBS kised the ring so they're out
National CBS has decided it'S better to appease our fake king than report actual news, so this local app is poisonous fruits as far as i'm concerned. Deleted!
Not a good change
The radar map is not very good and I can’t find the forecast radar, I wonder if that is part of the “premium subscription “. Old weather site was much better.
Pop off
For whatever reason when trying to read a story it just stops and go back to the list .
Always on top current news CBS-6
WTVR-6. Always up to date on on going Breaking news. Keep us informed always. Great reporters in the field and in The studio. My kind of news station Informative, current, always safety for their Journalists.
Please just report the news
As we wind closer to the election, articles are getting more and more biased. I removed other local news apps and kept this one originally as CBS 6 just reported news. This has gradually shifted away from reporting to clickbait titles and clearly biased writing. It’s a shame. Deleting this app now as well.
Font size.
I wish it were possible to adjust the font size. It would be good if I could increase the size using my index finger and thumb
News
Very nice coverage of the news in our area. Thank you so much.
Please fix
Can’t read stories. Only get a video with about a half inch bar at bottom of screen to see text. Please fix. Used to be a good app.
Channel 6 news CBS
I love channel 6 news. I grew up watching channel 6. My grandmother would turn it on every morning. I watch it every morning before I go to work.
App doesn’t work right anymore
As of the current version, None of the top button work, (back, share, bookmark, etc). iPhone 14pro Max running 16.2. Terrible update - don’t install!!!! All other app are ok - just not this one.
CBS6
This is my favorite go to news site. You get the whole story; names, addresses, outcomes, etc. So much better than guessing what happened, to whom and where...
Hi Folks! Joe Namath and JU ads driving us all crazy!
When will you stop them?!
Lots of news!
Wonderful coverage of all things local! My go to site for staying up to date on Richmond, local and VA news!
NO PAID SUBSCRIPTION
DON’T WASTE YOUR TIME. Click bait, large ads, and the frequent pop-up subscription begging make this a no go. Delete and use a different channel now. Your old app was so much better!
Great app
Quick and easy to use. Always up to date and also have stories I may have missed during the week. I highly recommend this app for the Richmond area!
No good
You get about 30 seconds of weather or traffic then all you get is a cbs logo and annoying music for what seems to be 4 or 5 minutes. Not enough content to be informative. Not a good app at all.
CBS 6 outstanding coverage and user friendly!
This app provides quick access to everything I need at any time of day. The live feed is clear and allows me to access my morning news wherever I am. Thanks for the upgrade!
This app is pretty terrible
This app takes over 20 minutes to update with breaking news stories that are visible on the WTVR website. What’s the point in the app if I have to look at the website to feel like I am seeing the latest?
Love this APP
I love being able to view anytime I want. It’s so easy to navigate.
Even more horrible
Just when you think an app can’t get worse. The only thing more painful is suffering through the show starting at 4:00 to see something specific and before it comes on the goofy cast makes you turn it off. Delete the app!
Very nice!
I at first wasn’t sure about the release of this. I originally reviewed it and suggested they add a dark mode because I generally read at night. They responded saying they would pass my suggestion along. Sure enough, now we a dark mode. Love this app!
Don’t Bother. Worst News App Ever.
Hey guys, you’re not the New York Times. We’re not paying for your substandard news app. What a joke. Since you’ve disabled your old app, I guess we’re done with your news for good.
