I worked really hard in an event and never received my reward. Great game but it really disappointed me.

Completely unusable now, any time I try to watch ads for rewards it’s just an endless black screen. Glitches out like crazy and makes my phone overheat in 2 minute of playing

Stupid ads keep locking the game up! I was loving this— hating this now! I can’t even play it!

Seriously, why is this game rated 4+? It has swearing, Murray in his underwear and references to toga parties, which is not kid friendly. But that’s not the only issue I have about this game. Another issue is the showdowns are just copy_pastes of each other. Lame! And all you do is just click buttons and earn cool points. It would be neat to have like a Tom Gold Run style Goldbergs runner, where you dodge Beverly or Murray and earn cool points, instead of just hitting a button over and over. It gets tedious! Although, I do like that you can generate cool points while you’re away. I also like the cutscenes. It feels like I’m watching an episode, so gold nerds will appreciate that. To summarize, the rating should be changed to 16+ (also, where’s Dave Kim? Have I not unlocked him yet or something? I demand you put him in right now! (Reference to the show 😃)) and maybe add a runner style mini game in addition to the showdowns. I feel like these would all improve the game and get more people to play instead of mindlessly tapping a button (or maybe I just don’t like idle games.) Oh, almost forgot to mention, maybe include mini games like the ones in the game that Adam made in the show, in the 8 bit Goldbergs style, like the one where you throw tomatoes at Érica and make her go back to college! That would be awesome! And a mini game where Barry annoys Murray while he’s watching tv and then chases him around the room like in the show! Again, these additions would be awesome! Better than the copy paste job for the one level that WAS in the show (dodging Beverly’s kisses which was awesome to play until they made it a copy paste job) There could also just be a whole new game made called 8 bit Goldbergs that you could make. I just think there was a BUNCH of wasted potential. UPDATE! I just completed Evel Barry and noticed a continuity error: (I know it’s not a big deal, but just wanted to point it out.) when Barry is asking Murray for a new BMX bike, Murray says that they got him one for Christmas. They don’t celebrate Christmas! They celebrate Hanukkah! What I think he should say instead is maybe, “we got you one for Super Hanukkah” (which is the Goldbergs mashup of Christmas and Hanukkah and would be a great callback to that episode.) anyway, just wanted to point that out and wanted to see if that could be fixed in an update. You don’t need to make us replay the episode, but just fix it for the newcomers. For the most part, the game is staying very true to the show and this was just a small slip up I noticed. If it’s not fixed, it won’t ruin the game at all (it’ll still bug me though lol) Have a great day and thanks for reading!
Fun game!
This is a very fun “idle” game! Anyone who is a Goldnerd ( fan of the Goldbergs tv show) will be happy with this game … and even those who aren’t should enjoy playing it! It represents the show and what it is all about very well and is easy to understand/ play. Any issues I have had (well, the one issue in the year I have been playing) have been addressed quickly and with a friendly customer service attitude. Highly recommend playing this game to anyone looking for a fun way to pass the time, as you can be in playing or set things up to run and let it go. Good job well done to the cool kids running things for Goldbergs Back to the 80’s! Sadly this game has been in a status of “ coming out with more levels soon “ for almost a year now…Pity, was fun to play until it became only the ‘events’ that are playable- and they changed them up so if you don’t pay to play you are a LOT less likely to rank high enough to matter as far as winning anything. Let us know something Devs- no update, update in a month from now, a year from now…???
Really enjoyed, but….
I played this game for over 2 years daily and really enjoyed it. Then I got stuck on a challenge for over 8 months! When I contacted support their response was always to upgrade the character/location to its maximum. Really?!? I hadn’t thought of that?!? (*sarcasm) Naturally everything that could be was maxed out. The frustrating part was that the one that wasn’t maxed I never got the card for either the character or the location to do so. And on top of that it wouldn’t gain any people. Day, week, month go by and not a single person. Oh well. It was fun and I enjoyed the graphics. But what’s the point if I can’t play the game.

As a fan of the show I can’t help but get irritated to see Johnny wearing a “Rash” shirt, he clearly says Rush during conversations so I don’t understand why you could have it one place but not the other

I’ve been playing since the beginning and this game is great My only reason it’s not five stars is too many ads But I will say customer service is extremely helpful, friendly and responsive I had a glitch and sent them an email and they were all over it. Had a patch the next day and they contacted me to make sure everything was working ok I’m editing this to 2 stars. The ads have gotten increasingly ridiculous not only a lot longer but you have to push X Then done then X. Then done and so forth Several times now. NOW I HAVE TO SPEND (MUCH)MORE TIME WATCHING ADS THAN ACTUALLY PLAYING THE GAME Come on people enough is enough
Fun game!
I enjoy this game although it can be slow at times, of course that’s the point - it’s to be played while doing other things. My issue is the ads. I certainly don’t mind watching ads instead of using real money. My issue is that most of the ads cause the game to freeze. I am forced to shut down and restart to continue playing. Once I reopen the game I have not received my “reward” and am pushed to watch the ad again with the same result.

Every time I play the events I only get the bar loaded up once and then the bar crashes not letting me attain any other rewards even tho I definitely am making enough.

UPDATE: I received fantastic help from the developer. My issue was taken care of. Thank you! enjoy this game and am only giving 3 stars because when i upgraded my phone and played the game on the new phone now I don’t see any of the characters I’ve earned. Still shows I’m on level 38 or whatever but no people show up anywhere. And I had a ton. I don’t know what to do now.

So basically I wanted to play the game bc it was on tv and I watch it but like when I was on it IT sticks to the loading screen like it won’t even load ur game is like really trash it’s annoying

I’ve played this game almost every day since it was released and have never had a problem until the last update- now it won’t even open.
Crashes when loading
I cannot get past the loading screen every time I start playing this game. This has been going on since the latest update. There have been days where I have to restart the app and it would work fine, but it has been crashing and no load screen. I hope this gets fixed in the next update or I will delete this app.

Love this game, but is there a bug?
I’ve been playing this game for a couple years now and I love it! For the last few days though, it won’t load whatsoever and force closes. It’s my go to game and it’s really been bothering me that I can’t play it. I have restarted my phone and even offloaded the app and reinstalled it hoping that would fix it, but nothing is working. Please help .-.
Started out great but got worse
When it first started you had a chance to finish the events. You got enough items to upgrade your figures. You also got 4 hours boost for videos. Now once you start progressing in an event you will not get free cards or currency to up grade characters. Past few events i progressed maybe half way through the level before before it ended. I was keeping the double points bonus going but it just would never give me what i needed. Basically it forces you to spend real money just to progress an event. And the dropped bonus to two hours per video. At one point it was one hour. And in events you get constant offers. You are bombarded every level, every new location, every new character, etc. it just takes all the fun away. There is a good game underneath.

Game won’t load
I’ve played this game since day 1. Never had an issue but now I can’t even get the game to open. It closes itself out before it even starts to load. Makes it impossible to do the special events when you can’t even get the game to load. I see I’m not the only person with this issue. Developers, we need an update to fix this!!!

TONS of ads
I love the show so as soon as the game came out I downloaded and played it. It is fun and has fun storylines but is overrun with ads. Basically you have to either be comfortable paying a ton of money to succeed or be okay with the fact that you will need to spend about 5 minutes minimum watching ads each time you want to play. With the most recent update now on events to double production you have to watch twice as many ads as before. I wondered why there wasn’t an option to buy the game and opt out of ads but they are clearly sold out to the ads and probably making a killing. I have made it a personal point to never download or watch anything they advertise and honestly after this last update I am close to deleting it because it is so frustrating to have to watch so many ads just to try and get the rewards from events. The game is fun and addictive but I am pretty close to deleting the whole thing.

New Episodes Coming… BUT WHEN?!?!
They literally have been saying they are creating new episodes for almost a year now! How long does it take? I’m going to get rid of this, it’s just a waste of time now unless your a new player.
One of the better idle games.
It’s a standard idle game but has new challenges and levels that keep it from going stale. It’s can be quite aggressive in making you view offers to buy because you can’t continue playing until you’ve done so which lets it down. Would like an option of viewing how many “friends” we’ve collected each episode. Overall a nice way to spend a few hours.

This game is fun but the number of ads you need to watch just to play the game is overwhelming! It would be great if there were a way to pay to remove the ads but that doesn’t exist right now. 5 Star potential
I have been playing this game for awhile and I do enjoy it. It helps to kill time. I would give it 6 stars except I finished Episode 42 a while back and since then I have been waiting for new episodes so I am just stuck where I am at waiting. Hope there is an update soon with more episodes
