Very counterintuitive but worked in the end
Plugged in and followed instructions but it never got beyond the preparing stage. Unplugged and got a message I had been charged €11 for nothing. However, tried again and this time had a successful and quick charge and I was only charged for what I received. However, it could have been simpler and worked straight off.

Poorly implemented location
I just used a charger in the Westfield Glories shopping center in Barcelona. The app seemed to work ok but there is not sufficient mobile reception where the charger is to allow the app to function. I had to go up a level to get the app to work. Then I had to start the charge in the app and run back down a level to connect the car and start the charge. Then while the charge was happening the app was giving me a message that the charge failed and would have like to try again or cancel. In the end the car did charge properly and my credit card was billed but I can imagine most people wouldn’t bother.
App setup
Took a lot longer than other apps to setup and start charging, was able to set up accout through apple pay this was good and would of been great if i could of just added payment from there, had to find my card it took 3 attempt to register in the freezing cold. Also would be good at that price if you took Amex

Amazing charger very fast
Doesn’t work at all
Managed to download the app and registered. Then added my vehicle info and also payment methods. After all, it can’t identify the charger in the carpark we were in. Totally useless. Waste of time and money.

¿Hay que escribir la contraseña a mano? ¿Sin poder pegar y sin soporte de gestores de contraseñas? ¿Una aplicación que seguramente tendrá mi tarjeta de crédito guardada? Pues ya les digo yo que mi contraseña no va a ser de 20 caracteres y de calidad como en el resto de servicios porque la tengo que escribir a mano. De vergüenza en los tiempos que estamos. Encima cambias de aplicación y se pierde el formulario (para mirar la matricula, la contraseña…) Los campos no se seleccionan al pulsarlos, se seleccionan al pulsar su texto! Bienvenidos a las apps del iPhone 3g!
Failed!
I have successfully used this app a couple of times to charge my car at the same unit in Spain. On the most recent occasion all seemed well…the app took €25/ £20 off my registered card, but then failed to register the charge session, or refund the balance…it was only a top up session. There is no one available to assist in Spain over the weekend! Not happy…moving on to Iberderola stations….which are also much cheaper.
Easy process
Surprised by all the negative reviews. Created my account and profile, added payment methods easily. Selected how many KWh I wanted to charge and it shows the price up front which I like. Really easy and smooth process. Recommend!

Creo que necesitan mejorar el sistema de cobro, ya que te cobran una carga varias veces, aunque después te devuelven, otras compañías no tienen este problema, esperamos que lo resuelvan rápido ya que los cargadores son de los mejores.

Primera experiencia horrible
He planificado un viaje y parar a cargar en Astorga restaurante el maragato. La carga rápida no funciona,por teléfono han sido muy amables Al final carga semirapida la cual anuncian a 22 kw y ha cargado a 7 kw con lo que lo que pensaba que sería una hora u hora y media han sido aproximadamente 4, teniendo que pedir que me dieran a buscar unos familiares y de madrugada que me volvieran a llevar a por el coche. Ojo,al seleccionar carga completa te retienen 25€ ,he tenido dos intentos fallidos y tengo dos retenciones de 25€,llamo y que ellos solo ven una 🤷♂️ Así que 5 días después tengo cobrados aparte de las recargas 25€ + 25€ que no se como recuperar. La experiencia ha sido nefasta He pagado a precio de oro una potencia 3 veces más lenta que lo anunciado.

No está el MG4… probablemente el coche de moda ahora mismo a nivel eléctrico

I visit Devon quite often and these chargers are everywhere. They are in the best locations and the app is super useful, especially the fact that I can plug in and it will start charger without having to tap my card!

Set up to charge in Loch Lomond but just doesn’t work even though credit card linked etc. no answer on phones - luckily had enough charge to get to another make that worked

Espero que los cargadores funcionen mejor que la app , dar de alta un coche es un desastre y la app se cuelga bastante , insisto que espero que una vez que pare en un cargador funcione y no me de problemas
Great customer service
I had a few problems at first with the Exchange Street charger, but once I contacted the customer service team, they managed to start the charge almost straight away! Will definitely charge with Wenea again.
Shocking
Just save yourself the anger and frustration of trying to use this app or their machines. You’ll leave with a dud app, no charge and several £25-£40 pre-authorisations on your bank account…. Useless and annoying
Bien! Pero Modelos MG incompletos
La APP parece bien depurada, sin embargo al seleccionar mi vehículo un MG HS PHEV que sería el EHS de MG dice que la capacidad es de 10,6 cuando es de 21 y que la potencia máxima es 3,7kW cuando realmente es de 7kW aún no sé si cargará a 3,7 o 7kW pero deberían actualizar los vehículos al menos los más recientes, es un vehículo de 2025

Incorrect charger means there’s no way to charge
The registration process is unnecessarily complicated (why even ask for a passport?) and contactless doesn’t seem to work on the machine (tried with phone and 2 cards). The instructions on the machine seem to be for a different machine. Even after going through the pain of registration, the device’s location is incorrect on the map (Sidmouth Ham West) so despite having the car plugged into the charger, the app says you’re not close enough so there’s no way to charge. I wonder how many hours of people’s time you’ve wasted?

Pointless App
Tried in 3 different locations to use the Wenea system over the past 2 weeks and each time all I get from the app is that I’m not close enough to use the system. I think 12” away from the charger and plugged in qualifies as close enough.
End
I was an early user but there were some issues and I wasn’t so reliable, but now Wenea have definitely upped their game. Easy and couple of hours you have 100 miles. Keep up the good work.
