So far the first app that advertises free (among paid options) and actually gives me the ability to test it out. Three apps before readmio promised this with a trial and fee. Another thing I liked was reading the books out loud and the sound affects happening with certain words. My daughter loved that part.

Great variety of audio books for kids!
My 4 year old loves listening to audio books before he goes to bed! These have been a lifesaver - $50 well spent!
Aplikace
Excellent
My daughter loves it, she loves to hear me reading and she goes to sleep very deeply, fully recommended
Great tool to put kids to sleep
I like it a lot. Normally I don’t put reviews but this app really helps to put kids to sleep, if you read the stories!
Zkusebni obdobi zdarma
Chci vyzkouset.
Limited audio books
Limited audio books horrible in app experience while logging on to parent account
Zapracujte
Yo quería pagar semanalmente, PERO ES UNA ESTAFA. No tomen esa prueba gratis
migliorare
Why this is beneficial for my mom and me:
it helps me and my mom go to sleep earlier than we should and it has pretty good stories and reading is good for you
Absolutely horrible
I wanted to give this a try and signed up for a trial with the understanding that I’d be given a heads up if i were to be charged for a subscription. If it was wellmade product I wanted to show support. However, I was charged for a subscription without my knowledge and consent. I regret it so much I gave this a try.
Jinak moc fajn apka, předplatné jsme si i přes drobnosti pořídili a denně čteme.
Love it!
I downloaded this app initially while I was traveling with the kids to be able to read to them and not have to pack books. I didn’t intend to subscribe but I chose to and will continue! This has been an amazing experience and contribution to my littles affinity with reading. We incorporate the prints, and always take the quizzes (the littles LOVE the quizzes)! The other language options are helpful as they are learning multiple languages. The best part is there are stories for all the ages of my littles. The stories are fantastic, loaded with wit or wisdom. The youngest (3) loves the series of multiple books. The kids love earning their badges too! What a fantastic find. Thank you ReadMio!
App Not Good For Toddlers - No Pictures
I believe that pictures help when telling a story. None of the books I looked at had pictures.
Muito Legal
Minha filha amou muito! Leio pra ela quase todas as noites.
Polovicaty nastroj
Fun and Convenient
I love the fact that each storyline is wrapped in a lesson in a fun and interesting twist. I love the thought of just playing a story as I’m on the way to the daycare.. our story time is always so exciting
Audio libros
No me deja grabar.
To mi vadi. Nemohli by ste dat este viac zadarmo?
Excelente
NO PICTURES! Boring for kids!
My 3 yr old wants pictures not an audio book. He’s not 40. He needs visual stimulation
Readmio
Applicazione eccezionale!!! Complimenti.
Cancelled on Day One of Trial!
I REALLY wanted to like these - especially because of the sound effects, but the stories are all preach and no fun. Don’t get me wrong, I love a story with a lesson, but these read like they were made by AI or someone who has NO BUSINESS writing stories for children. Save your money and borrow from the library or subscribe to Vooks for legit engaging and fun stories.
Interesting story app with a couple of drawbacks
As a mother of four kids under the age of 7, I always have to have a few tricks up my sleeve to keep the bedtime routine moving along with as few complaints and distractions as possible. Bedtime stories are a necessity for cuing little minds and bodies to wind down, but every night presents with different needs and requirements. I have found that not only is it important to choose appropriate story topics as they relate to the children’s ever-changing interests, questions, fears, and challenges, but the format is also key. Picture books with intricate illustrations are good for energetic nights, emergent reader books are perfect for boosting confidence and practicing independent reading, shorter stories are useful for tired nights, nonfiction books are great on nights filled with endless questions, audiobooks are a necessity on tired- or sick-mommy nights, and so on. This app provides a completely different and unique option: stories read by mommy (or the app itself) with sound effects! The sounds are appropriately spaced out and well-timed, cute, funny, and realistic. The children enjoy the stories and often fall asleep quickly and easily. One complaint I have about this app is that sometimes the sounds last for too long or are unexpectedly loud, which can either startle a child drifting off to sleep, or it can make it harder to read along with. I am also surprised to see religious/Christian content without any representation of other religions/cultures. Either include stories from a variety of religions/cultures, or don’t include any at all. While American culture tends to embrace Christianity more readily than other religions, it should not be included in a children’s story app unless explicitly marketed as such. I’m pretty sure that if the app included stories from any other religious affiliation and only one kind, it would not have been downloaded even a fraction of the number of times nor would it have garnered as many 5 star reviews as it has. Other than those two drawbacks, I’d say the app is a nice addition to have in my arsenal for battling bedtime bedlam.
