they don’t honor their refund policy
I booked a pool a week out, and canceled five days ahead of time. They only wanna give me a refund as credits and not as an actual refund, which is what everything says. They have weasel language in their webpage, so be very careful. use a credit card where you can dispute a transaction and win.
Pools in the area
Kinda hard to find Pool as a certain area then when you find them certain days in certain times, not available need to make them a little bit more convenient
App needs improvements , and more communication with host and guest, to get the services each desire
Not happy with the way Swinply tries to keep the renter from automatically taking advantage of using their credits to pay for new rentals. The app makes it difficult
Features
The app is pretty good overall with lots of customizable features. Hoverver the functionality of those features is questionable. My main complaint as a host is that there are continuous glitches that switch my settings to allow pet swims that we never approved, shorter intervals between bookings than we had set, etc…. I do wish that we could also change the intervals between bookings based on group sizes as larger groups require longer cleaning time thatn smaller groups.
Soaking in Sunday
Lisa is a fantastic host. She had all the pool toys you would need. Easy access from the street. The pool was very clean. She popped out to say hi and introduce herself. This was my second visit. I would recommend this pool and I will be back when I come to town. 😊
I don’t like this app
I reserved the pool from picture it was good and the zone and area price was good from the pics but when I went there in my reserve time there was so dirty and bad place where is no way to swim and I tried to contact the host and the help center to give my money back cause when I saw there is no safe to swim I left there but no one gave my money back! They just ignored my problem.
Filter settings are not accurate
The app works fine but when filtering for pools they rarely show you what is actually available for “Today” when choosing the option.
Ugh
This app sucks. Impossible to find what you’re looking for as a host. Reviews are buried. Calendar is not user friendly. Needs a full redesign. This company is trying to be Airbnb. It’s not, needs to develop an app that actual works for hosts.
App difficult to navigate, take too much money off the bookings

Beautiful pool and space
We had an amazing time at Sal and Madea’s pool. They were very accommodating with a few changes that I needed to make on my reservation and gave very detailed and thoughtful instructions that made our arrival a breeze. They were very sweet in person. We would definitely rent from them again! Q
Worst experience of my life on my daughter birthday
Double booked. Went to use the pool. The lady said I was there to only clean pools. She only said that because I was black. I was in fear for my life and I couldn’t got shot and my daughter.
Navigating is clunky
I found it really awkward to find my way around. I was unable to swap to metric display, so temp and distance were meaningless
Was great until it wasn’t BEWARE OF HIDDEN CHARGES & MEMBERSHIPS!
I only had a couple bad experiences with Swimply like a booking on my birthday when the host wasn’t home and my booking never happened was horribly disappointing. The worst was yesterday as I’m checking my visa and saw that Swimply charged me $418.46 on top of the two bookings I had booked recently! I tried to call but there is no customer service number. So I reach out in the app and got an automated reply and after 10 or so WTH emails I’m told they sold me a membership of some kind. I didn’t ask nor want a membership and especially at $418.46 as that would be ridiculous. I tell them again I don’t want their membership and to refund me and they say I can cancel the membership but I lose the $418.46? They left me no choice other than to go to Visa fraud which is now investigating this as a scam. Swimply could have done the right thing and refunded this add on I didn’t request but no they want to be difficult. So moral here is to be very careful using this company as they have zero respect for long standing customers.
Very relaxing pool
The lighting in the pool was very soothing and the weather was perfect for a swim with the family will recommend this place to everyone

Swimply could not charge guest for a damage worth of $300 as guest had insufficient fund on card. Swimply did not cover the cost either but keeps charging me 20% for each booking!! Swimply only charges hosts not guests!!! If you can’t be reimbursed for $300 worth of damage after talking for weeks with customer service and providing all evidence, what happens if it’s a bigger issue at your pool! Lost my confidence in Swimply all together. Looking for a new platform.
Many changes needed
It would be helpful to have tiered pricing available based on the day of the week. It would also be helpful to be able to set different availability times for each day of the week. Also having a phone number to speak with an actual person would be helpful for hosts instead of the Bot. BOT is HORRIBLE and never has the correct solution or topic you need.

I’ve submitted two request to obtain my refund I have yet to receive. Please take my debit card off file ASAP. Next step is contacting my bank if I don’t get a professional follow up back and writing a review to the BBB.
Unable to change Country from the U.S
Great idea and would love to use it but the app will not allow me to change the County to Australia- so it’s therefore not useful

DO NOT USE! FRAUD
Please go not book an event on this site! I have been canceled on by the host three times in one week. This site is fraudulent.
No one uses imperial measurements outside of the USA
If you want the app to be used outside of America, you’re going to have to allow your users to use metric measurements.

Great app but you need to allow visitors from other countries to book without having to use an American or Australian mobile number !

The pool was perfect as well as the hist. We had a wonderful family day, teaching the kids how to swim!
Horrible customer service- Scam??
Unable to get situation resolved with a duplicate charge for the SAME booking. Company will only issue a credit and not a refund. Feels very scammy. BEWARE.

Everything was seamless from book the place to having to reschedule for medical issues. A fun place to chill.
Price changes
Funny how it shows one price but then it keeps increasing and all these added fees that they didn’t have before??

I have found the app slow and messages are not timely. I also find I keep getting a message saying problem with internal server. Settings also seem to keep changing
Fantastic and relaxing
We booked this space very last minute and Kerri was so accommodating. There wasn’t but about an hour and a half between the booking and start time, yet everything was clean and tidy waiting on us. Would happily book again!
Bait & Switch
Swimply sells Summer Passes and ONLY THEN shows on the app that one’s favorite pool listings have been removed. And no refund given for this shady practice.

We had the most relaxing evening at the pool, dinner on the patio by the lake and even turned on the Steeler game and watching it floating on the provided tubes. Great experience, great hosts.
