Not functional
Logged in but cannot “log in” to add booked flights for easy reference. Vietnam airlines please check out other airline apps and take note of their functionality. Your app just seems like an advertisement for products. Thank you. Looking forward to trying your airline.
Manage Booking
Horrible
I’ve been flying on VNA for six years. The app remains the worst consumer app I’ve ever encountered for a Major company. It never fails every time I interact with it, there is some issue.
Need lots of improvement
Tons of features are missing. 1st, there is no way for the app to remember my personal info, so I always need to retype every single time I need to book a ticket. 2nd, similar with payment method. 3rd, it’s always buggy and laggy when I tried to book ticket at peak season/time. Pricing is so inconsistent and purposely made difficult to get a discounted deals.

Dont waste my time
Lacking
The app lacks basic features and almost always sends you out to a web view. Not a reliable application for simple things like managing your booking, meal preferences, etc. disappointing technology for a national carrier.
Times Out and Wastes Your Time!
The app isn’t great because when you try to check in online, it takes information from you twice and asks the same questions at various parts of the process e.g. it asks for your details twice and is an efficient way of doing things. Also, it gets you to very end when you are checking in online and then it cancels the whole process, leaving you at least 20 minutes of wasted time! The flights are pretty good and reasonable prices though.
Rất ok nhanh gọn tiện lợi
👍
Just shows loading screen forever
Literally unuable. And it's the newest version, and they boast about bug fixes LOL
Too many details asked to simply login
The app was updated and it wouldn’t allow me to login with my original login details. I tried using my email and phone number but it rejected those. Then I had to find my booking number, PNR, frequent flyer #, member account number, and Lotusmiles number to login. Please make the login process easier by asking for 1-2 pieces of information. I ended up deleting the app and created a new profile under Lotusmiles. It took me over an hour to complete this process.
Naja
Aber alles was drüber hinausgeht. Meilen einsetzen, gebuchte Flüge abspeichern,… Hört es leider auf.
10đ
Does not work
App ask for update and jumps to App Store which only asks to open app but this will show update again.
Hit or Miss
Sometimes the app is okay and other times a complete flop .. tried to upgrade a domestic flight, charge came to €63 but on the payment page it displayed €6,300 .. use it mostly to check in ..
no
I can’t believe i am saying this… but just use their website. it is somehow better
Awkward login
The app does not support login using a non Viet phone number. This forces you to use the flight confirmation number which is inconvenient.
App cannot see booked flights
Hi Developer team, When I login to the Vietnam Airlines website, I can see my booked flights making it easy to keep track of my bookings. However, even though when I login using the same credentials/account and click on “manage booking”, I have to enter a Vietnamese phone number to login even though I have already logged in. Could you make the app especially the “manage booking” session a seamless as your webpage ? I think that’s a very important features

Shoving me to the update page in AppStore when I try to use, but there’s no update.

UX/UI is HORRIBLE. Enough said.
Needs work…
App crashes when trying to access your personal details. Very frustrating. Otherwise it works ok.
Lack of visibility of upcoming trips
Mainly a suggestion for improvement but after going through the onerous process of booking flights with the app it would be good if the app actually showed the confirmed flights booked that are coming up…
Nice
Trải nghiệm rất tốt
Better to Send a Pigeon
Vietnam Airlines is probably one of the better airline in Vietnam, however their app’s user interface is unintuitive and difficult to navigate. They should really invest in a UX/UI team to modernize the app: no easy feature to login, no Apple wallet syncing, no ability to quickly reference upcoming flights. International customer service number will ring then give you a prompt for “no one is available, please call again later” after 2 mins on hold. Honestly, either call them on their Vietnamese line… or send a messenger pigeon. If you’re lucky, you might get it resolved. Forget about whatever status you have with the airline, you’re basically economy when it comes to customer support.

Getting better but long way to go
The app improved a bit over the years. But it still feels experimental. It’s just not stable and small problems are everywhere. For example error messages when you click a flight for details. Showing times in ICT instead of using airport‘s local time zone (as usual). Seems it’s built for domestic usage and mostly tested for domestic flights and VN language.
Dùng app vietnamairlines này rất là tiện
App này quá là tốt
Missing important information
There is no information about my upcoming or past trips. All other airlines provide this information but not Vietnam Airlines.
Useless
Not particularly useful. Even if you book a flight with the app, it doesn’t “remember” the booking. You have to search for your booking by locator to do anything. Why does it exist other than to try to sell you more flights through ads?
Not so convenient without the feature to save bookings outside of the app
I booked ticket from other service, but I want to keep track the ticket in VNA app (this feature is available in all other airlines except VNA), that's not convenient, please keep improving the app and learn from other airlines
