Most secure
This is the most secure application I have ever came across!
doesn’t let me in
i haven’t used the app since before the new update and it won’t let me in. i typed in my 4 digit pin and it says my password is wrong. i can’t use face ID because i set that up. again, that face ID and password thing is new. the old version just had a 4 digit pin. i have no way to get into my notes. but before the update, it was a good app
effortlessly secure your passwords, seeds or whatever
Managing sensitive information has never been easier with secure notes. The app's secured folders and lock notes features provide a reliable safeguard for my thoughts. Highly functional!
New Refresh
I’m not happy with the new refresh. It seems less responsive; I CANNOT open folders as it doesn’t recognize my finger tap. Screens open in “edit” mode rather than preview, a clunky UX. Can’t easily edit. Tried to create a new folder and it doesn’t work. And now the app opens with an ad, that takes too long to load, and it forces me to wait until I can access a password. I ABHOR the new update and am ready to ditch it!!!!!!!
Note edit doesn’t update while in search mode
I write here because I didn’t have an answer from support email. I am a Pro member. I can edit notes correctly from the listing mode, however, when I search a note from search mode and edit it, the note doesn’t appear modified when I go back to the search list. However, if I exit search mode, I can see that the note was actually modified. I was going around this process for half an hour until I realized that, to see the changes I needed to exit search mode. I think that it’s wrong. There should be a way to see the changes stiil in search mode. Otherwise you enter a loop, searching for a note, edit it, back to the results list, edit again, etc. And you never see the changes unless you exit search mode! Could you make this more intuitive please? It’s a great program, however I got stuck in this part until I tried exit search list. Maybe there should be a save button? Or some refresh of the results list . Thanks
Secure and simplified note taking app
the app simplifies note taking while ensuring everything is secured properly. I can easily manage notes, knowing they are protected and private.
If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.
It was a great, simple app and then they updated it and now it’s so frustrating. It barely works, nothing looks pleasing, and for some reason I can’t even see what I’m typing while I’m typing it because I can’t scroll down far enough for it to be past the keyboard. Very very mad that this app was ruined
Love the new look and features!
The redesign is stunning! Navigation is smooth, and the Love Voice Notes feature is a delightful surprise. This app has made securing my notes more enjoyable and efficient. Five stars!
No rename of folder once created
We cant change the folder name once it is created…we have to delete it and create another folder which is very difficult..
Animation on a notepad app
The open animation has to go. It’s annoying and makes that app feel super slow when accessing so unlike a secure note app. (iPhone notes is still just as secure and can be viewed on all devices in your apple devices list on account.) fancy but not a replacement for iPhones notes. Which is already encrypted. 👈🏾👍🏾
Not only secure but also stylish
I love how this app cọmbines security with aesthetics. The design is neat, and the secured notes and folders look great. It makes the experience enjoyable while keeping my information safe.
Update ruined it
I have used this app for YEARS. LOVED it. I hesitated to do the recent update and stalled for months. I don’t remember accepting the update but suddenly yesterday the app was entirely different. For me it’s unusable now. It doesn’t work. I can’t access the folders, I have to go into Notes and even then it’s glitchy and annoying. It doesn’t display my text the same way it used to. It’s so incredibly different and frustrating, I have already found a new app and will be deleting this today. Bummer.
User-Friendly and Secure
The latest update with the new UI really enhances the experience of using Secure Notes. Locking my notes is simple, and I love the peace of mind knowing that my private details are secure.
Really disappointed in the changes
when I first updated to the newest version, I completely lost access to all of my notes because I did not have the most recent version of iOS on my phone. The developers were fairly responsive in trying to help me solve the problem, however they did not suggest that could be the issue and I eventually figured it out myself. Now that I can access my notes again I can see how annoying the changes are. There’s a huge bar at the top of each note with formatting options that takes up 1/3 the screen and when you’re typing, your keyboard takes up the bottom half of the screen and you can only see a tiny sliver of what you’re working on in the middle. I also don’t like the new password login. I prefer the simple pin code screen. I wish there was an option to just go back to a simple notes app with a pin, which is why I downloaded this to begin with. Devs do seem to be pretty responsive to fixing issues. I just think this new version is way too cluttered and clunky.
perfect for keeping secrets safe
This app is perfect for storing confidential notes. With locked notes and secured folders, it's so easy to protect my secrets. I appreciate the attention to security in this productivity tool.
new update is trash
this used to be a great, simple notes app. encrypted and super secure, with an easy to use folder system that kept notes organized and a simple but refined design. then they decided to roll out a new update and ruin it all. the new user interface is overly complicated and glitchy. the app runs so slow now that when i write notes, the letters i type appear a whole 1-2 seconds after i type them and sometimes never appear at all. the option to have a simple 4-number code is gone, and the only options available now are a typed code or face ID. worst of all, essential features that were free before are now locked behind a paywall. it’ll be a pain to move all my notes elsewhere but if it’s what i have to do to avoid this app’s greedy developers then it’s what i will do.
A Must-Have for Privacy Lovers
Secure Notes - Lock Notes is ideal for keeping sensitive information safe. The new UI is sleek and user-friendly, making it easy to navigate through locked notes. I feel safe knowing my notes are encrypted and secure from prying eyes.
To complicate
The change has made things too much. Too complicated. Nothing g should be this much and probably still is not that secure .
user friendly and feature rich note taking app
I've tried several note taking apps, but this one stands out for its emphasis on security. The app is user-friendly and offers secured folders to keep my notes organized without cọmpromising privacy.
horrible
i hate the update version
Safety Meets Simplicity
I love using Secure Notes for all my important notes. The ability to lock notes ensures privacy, and the new UI makes navigation a breeze. Definitely my go-to app for secure note-taking.
It used to be the best notes app
I used to really enjoy using this app because of the folder separation aspect and I just generally really liked the app design. Until this new app update. The entire format changed and it’s become so incredibly slow. It takes over ten seconds for the screen to load then an additional ten to twenty seconds to even allow me access after my Face ID has been approved. Then the screen freezes when I click on a folder or note to either edit something or just to go back and proofread. Additionally, it takes so long to even type a single word out, it keeps lagging and for some reason keeps taking me back to the top of my notes rather than the bottom where I’m trying to edit something. To most, that 10-20 seconds for the app to load may seem trivial but when using this as a student on time crunches for assignments or to write poetry (essentially my meditation after a long day) it can become very frustrating. I’m just disappointed that an app that worked perfectly before is now almost unusable because it keeps lagging or crashing. I’m going to test it on my IPad to see if this is an issue with my older model phone or if it’s a general issue with the new update. Either way, I’m having to return to my usual Microsoft Word because it has become almost impossible to do anything on this app efficiently. Would have been five stars if you had asked me yesterday before I got the app update! Hoping that this is just a bug that will get fixed soon. Just really disappointed about this as I did genuinely really love using this app before.
Essential for keeping notes secured and protected
the app does an excellent job of protecting my sensitive information. The ability to create secured folders makes it easy to organize my notes. I feel confident that my data is safe, and the user interface is simple and intuitive.
Stay away
The latest update screwed the app up. Set a password which then didn’t work. Face failed. The stupid backup seeds also failed
Update!!!
What did you do to this great app. New update on iPhone is ridiculous. It takes 10 min to move or do anything. Completely useless now. How can I go back to other format. This one is not usable Update: developer did provide an update that fixed the issue. Thank you!!
What I think personally about secure notes
The app is quite good but it is a little bit confusing. I wish the settings part was easier to fix a problem if necessary. I think it is a bit too complicated with all the passwords. However I do like the different font when making a note .
Security meets usability! Finally added cloud sync
the new update is impressive! The redesign is fresh, and the love voice notes feature is such a creative touch. I can easily secure sensitive info while enjoying the app's aesthetics!
Complicated
Way too complicated from original program.
Well done!
very clear layout and simple UI
was using this app for few years now, update was needed for sure!
With this note taking app, I can keep my thoughts secure and organized. The cool redesign is very appealing, and the Love Voice Notes feature saves me so much time It’s an essential app for anyone serious about productivity
new update
i loved this app before the update but now it is so slow to open and when you eventually manage to open the folder that you want, you cant even type. it takes at least 10 seconds per letter and every time you back space or press space it takes you to the bottom of the page. the whole app is now laggy. i also had some photos that i had copy and pasted into my folders and they are now gone
A Game Changer!
The new update for Secure Notes has revitalized the app! My notes transitioned without a hitch, and the new user interface is not only beautiful but also very functional. It’s like using a brand new app that has everything I needed and more. Highly recọmmend for anyone who values privacy!
a perfect blend of functionality and design!
The latest update is fantastic! The cool redesign makes it easy to navigate, and I'm absolutely loving the Love Voice Notes feature! It adds such a personal touch. It’s not just about security it enhances my productivity
Update locked me out of my notes :/
The app was perfect before. Yeah the UI was ‘dated’ but it did everything it needed and worked awesome! Now it updated out of nowhere and I can’t access any of my notes since the loading screen is stuck on “migrating’ my existing notes. It’s been loading for an hour, which is frustrating. Hopefully this will fix itself soon so I can access all my work again :(
Recovered…
Was stuck ‘Migrating’, so I’d lost all my passwords. Then found there was a pending update. After installing that, recovered app data. Poorly organised update system by developer.
Peace of Mind for my notes
this app has changed the way I handle sensitive information! The new redesign is sleek and user-friendly. Plus, the Love Voice Notes feature is a game changer! I can record my thoughts and keep them secure easily. Highly recọmmend it for anyone looking to protect their notes!
Subscriber
I cannot get into my information after current update. Had me writing down 12 words for security??? No ability to reset password and access my info. I will delete app.
Pin
I initially set up pin then changed to open with face. But then I forgot pin. And I can’t change it in opened app without knowing my pin. Otherwise it’s a good app.
