- Notes do not sync across different devices
simple
thank god there is an app that just lets me write something down without a bunch of extra BS
BAD IDEA!!!
WORST APP EVER!! It has ads that want let you do anything until the ad is finished. Bad idea if thinking about getting this note will not let you be productive in doing what you need to do.
Lovely but the ads are a pain
Hi, thank you for such a simple note taking app. But the ads are an irritant. Is there a paid version?
More
Need icloud and make it add at least one more note
Advertisements are obnoxious and is this abandonware?
The video ads are oppressive. Many people have commented about this but the developer never responds. I would pay for a n ad free version (NO SUBSCRIPTION!!!). Plus, although you can export notes one by one there isn't any way to do a bulk export to back up your notes. Please add these things.
Great app — but really needs a backup/export feature!
I truly enjoy using Note! — it’s a simple, elegant, and efficient note-taking app. However, one important feature is missing: the ability to export or back up notes in bulk. Right now, saving individual notes one by one becomes unmanageable when you have a lot of entries. This is especially problematic when switching to a new phone, as the data in Note! doesn’t transfer over with the iPhone migration process. I would really appreciate a bulk export/import or backup & restore function. It would make the app so much more reliable and future-proof. I hope the developer will consider adding this feature in a future update. Thank you for the great work so far!
New level of torture with these ads. No paid version?
The ads are horrendous, just full screen full volume ads you can’t exit out of. Why no paid ad-free version? Let me give you money! Instead, will be stopping using. Would’ve been the perfect notes app.
Good!
I really appreciate that it’s an actual “text only” app. I use it to clean up urls I copy (to remove utm from links). I’m interested in a paid / ad-free version.
Song writer here
Edit: just realized the app says “no distractions!” Thats a bold lie. This app has more distractions than most other note apps I’ve tried. I used Note! for song writing, but recently I’ve been getting pop up after pop up. Today, I had some random creative inspiration, but by the time I closed out of the two or three pop ups that appear when you open the app, I forgot what I was going to write down. Between the ads and the pop-ups, this is a sub-par app at best, and a useless look-alike at worst. Ads shouldn’t be shown until like 5-10 minutes into using the app. And premium pop-ups should only appear when closing notes, not opening them.
Can't delete old notes.
I can't find any way to delete old notes that I don't want anymore.
Very very fine
I nice thing I needed and it works I set stuff up and make sure it’s in track and so long I had this app it’s fine
Too many ads
Can no longer use this app! Randomly attacked by a series of LOUD ads when I need to take a note. And if I am in a meeting or quiet area the loud ad is annoying. Just horrible.
Remove Ads?
I was just reviewing this before downloading. Is there an option to remove the ads?
Ads are too much
The ads are so intense it’s impossible to experience the app. I was hoping to find an app that will work for me… I would be interested in paying… but I want to see what the app is like first. The ads are so long and so intrusive I can’t really use the app.
voiceover compatibility
would like to see voiceover compatibility, The ability to save notes to icloud to sync notes across devices, and ability to view text files from onedrive and other cloud storage areas. otherwise perfect app.
Worst app ever
Gave five stars because all my other reviews that were bad never showed up so glitchy
It’s add supported now,
I have sent an email to the owners, I am fed up that the adds has started coming when you open it, don’t like it anymore,
Great note taking app.
It's exactly what I want, simple note taking. Works great. Thank you to the developers for making this free and add-free. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because there's no way to back the entries up. This old I-Pad4 I'm using is going to need to retire sooner or later. So it looks like I would lose all my work that I store in this app when I get a new computer.
Ads, ads, ads
The app has become almost unusable due the the frequency of ads :-(
Love it - hate the ads with no way to remove!
Would gladly pay a dollar to get rid of the ads. Can be unpleasantly clunky as a result of the ads!
Simple & Perfect
I was tired of mailto: and now my links are twice when I copy & paste. This simple and perfect notepad works for just that simple notes no links!
Drop the ads!!!
Simple but why dumb ads at the worst time, like a doctors office. Is there an ad free app? If no then I am done!
👍🏼👍🏼
Great app! Does the things I was looking for. One suggestion to the developer: I’d like to be able to change the order of my notes by pressing on a note and dragging it to a new location in the order. I have notes that I use repeatedly, but as I add new notes the ones I want to use over keep getting moved farther down in the list causing me to go searching which can be time consuming. Also, I’d would be helpful to be able to establish categories for different types of notes. I’m a new user and haven’t found these features in the app and I’d feel like an idiot and there is already a way to do them.😱
was functional -- before the incessant full-screen ads
This app used to have all the functionality anyone could need. Notes were timestamped, you could organize notes by color, and functionality was extremely straightforward. However, for months now, literally each time you open up a note within the app, you get an immediate full-screen video ad with no exit. I rarely review apps but this is so egregious and detrimental to functionality that it destroyed an otherwise excellent app. You can’t even navigate within the app without having to wait 20 seconds for an ad for each action. If you need to make money off the app, charge a fee for download or use less-intrusive banner ads at the bottom or top.
Want highlight search result
It is nicely designed. But I downloaded this because new version of iOS’s note app lost original search and get the result in yellow highlights feature. This app can’t do highlights also, so disappointed
These are all I are.🧊♥️
I have a person for each note that do are us I me.
Whatever …
I was looking for a replacement for text edit that I used on my Mac. Trying to transition to an iPad Pro as my primary everything device. Went to write a quick note and had to watch two ads. Meh, I don’t think so. DELETE !!!
Good
This is ALMOST all I want. Give me the option of changing the default font, definitely five stars.
I’d pay for no ads
I really like the simplicity of this app and the lock feature. I use it daily. However, I’m now bombarded with ads ever time I use it which has ruined the app for me. Developers, please can you give us an option to pay for ad removal, if not I’ll have to go elsewhere which I don’t want to do. Would have given 5 stars but now 2 stars is the best I can do. Sorry.
No password
Very good app but unfortunately there is no password to protect our notes
Engineer
Good app
Where is the paid version
give us ad-free paid version
Presque parfait !!
Parfait, simple et efficace, mais il manque la possibilité de créer des dossiers, et les mots de passe également.
Cannot print a note directly to the printer on my home WiFi
Can anyone explain why this app will not allow me to print a single-page note to the printer on my home wi-fi network? Try it yourself before offering an answer, please! If it takes more than two steps, I’m not interested.
Simple
I have tried every free app I can find. I find this app superior in its simplicity. The first word you use become your title so no separate actions. The pinch to zoom. #LoveIt. It’s easy to share the Notes as well. It’s free, you have nothing to lose
Not worth it
Had the app for almost a year and loved it, but now every time I open a note I get a 5 second ad. If you have extremely high patience then like whatever, but I'll be searching for a note and easily lose 30 seconds waiting to view my own writing. Immediately switched to a different notes app, there are way better ad-free options all over the App Store.
Can’t use it
I wanted so badly to use this to edit for some work. But when I tap on a word or words I can copy, etc., but I don’t get the “BIU” options to underline, strikethrough, or any of those, and those are the ones I need. Is there some way to do this? If not, please think about adding the “BIU” to the Cut, Copy, and Paste options.
Simplistic and perfectly humble
I was looking for a NOTE app that was simple. Just text only. I can jot down a basic not. No format just words. I can copy some article from an internet page. Paste it to Note! and all the format is gone. The images gone. The hidden stuff gone. It’s just the remaining text. Say you find a recipe on the internet. Paste it into the native APP note and you get the paragraph formats, All the index spacing junk. The hidden ingredient or method html links. The dozens of advertising images and links. Paste it here in Note! And you get title, ingredients, and instructions…. That’s it Note to developers if you made a change it would be access the full character base of the font and offered to change typed things like 1/2 to the character set of the fraction.
Ads getting oppressivd
Recently the ads have become really obtrusive. I used this app for a long time and loved the speed and simplicity… but now quite often you find yourself having to sit through a timed ad when you’re just trying to make a quick note. Why put the ads there? It’s like you’re deliberately trying to annoy people.
It's alright
U cant copy and paste images us really why I dont like it so yeah
Good and useful
It’s useful to have, I don’t know much sign language yet, and not many other people do, so I was looking for something where I can just write and also change the size of the words to make them more readable, I also didn’t want to spend any money on an app, so this is a good app to have
Ads ruin everything
I really liked this app at first. A few days after I started using it, I opened it up and there were ads at the bottom. There’s no iap to remove them. Sigh. The search continues...
