Great!
Very easy to use app with lots of babysitter and customer support responds promptly!
Very unreliable app
I would be very wary of using this app. The babysitters cancel at least 50% of the time in my experience
Awesome babysitters
Great app. Simple to use. Matches parents with available babysitters.
Good, but sitter experience needs improvement.
I have been using the Kiddo app as a babysitter for a while now and while I absolutely adore some of the families I have met through it, I feel as if the app is heavily skewed in favour of parents. As a sitter, there is very little protection or power if you encounter a problematic client. I have been hit, spat at, and sworn at by children and I hesitate to leave an honest review because I know they can still rate me in return, and they have access to far more personal information about me than I have them. Recently I have had a parent demand I send them images of my license claiming that the app says they HAVE to see it - I declined as I was not driving their child anywhere so think receiving an image of my license is unnecessary, and I have also never received this request in the past. I have also had parents arrive home late and then not adjust it in the app and there is absolutely nothing I can do in this situation which I do not think is fair. Another issue is the way reviews are displayed. You can’t choose which reviews are displayed on your profile which means a well-meaning but poorly worded review can sometimes distract from other good ones. I would love the option to pin or highlight reviews that represent me best, while still keeping the full star average for full transparency. There is a lot to love about the app, but I really hope future updates will take the sitter experience more seriously and create a safer, more balanced platform for both sides.
Great App!
So easy to use, highly recommend! Great to read reviews and ratings and have all the checks done!
Extremely bad experience
The babysitter cancelled last minute citing baby has cough and took our money for 2 days. Be cautious while booking. No help post bookings
Great app
Found a lovely babysitter there and will definitely use the app again. The functionalities is great and very user friendly. Cheers
Ok
Some improvements in flow needed.
Great Service
So thankful for Kiddo! It’s great to be able to find care when it really matters. Love the reviews and ratings and also being able to find babysitters when we are travelling! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Very Disappointed Stay Away at all costs
It’s an absolute rip off, As a premium customer who has spent close to $1,000, I expected much better care, accountability, and refund support. I’ve cancelled my premium subscription and would not recommend the app. Despite clear instructions nanny took our baby outside in the cold without proper clothing and the child came down with fever next thing you know The nanny asked to cancel the booking and so we cancelled the booking, they took 213$ as cancellation policy it’s a complete rip off, stay away
Support Language
Hey, Love the app, I would suggest to add filter additional language babysitter might be able to speak. Thanks
Amazing service!
Tia was amazing! She just made our life so easy by taking the last min booking! She did craft and played. She’s so kind and the kids loved her! Highly recommend and will definitely book again!!
They don’t reply
I have verified my WWCC as asked for - even though I think it is a bit of a rip off to pay to get it verified. Now on the app, it is still saying my WWCC is pending being verified even though this was done days ago. I’m yet to receive any response from the company, even emailing and contacting their instagram account multiple times. Looking at their instagram I can see they only promote female babysitters so there could be a hint of discrimination about not being given a response
Great business!
Easy and stress free way to find in home support worker.
Significant Platform Flaws Hinder Service Delivery and Communication
As a Support Worker, I have found this platform to be fundamentally flawed and inefficient. My experience is defined by two major problems: a severe lack of work opportunities and a broken communication system. 1. Lack of Work Options: There are insufficient parents requiring support in the app, resulting in a low volume of work, matches, and confirmed bookings. 2. Communication Failures: The inability to secure the limited work available is worsened by platform design flaws: Parents frequently match with workers but fail to initiate contact or confirm the service, leaving potential bookings in limbo. The worker has no ability to proactively reach out to a parent who has made a booking, forcing us to passively wait for a confirmation that rarely arrives. Crucially, the app lacks any direct support or communication channel to resolve these issues, even with a premium subscription. The poor design creates a critical lack of interaction between workers, participants, and the platform developers. Until these technical failures and the low volume of available work are addressed, I cannot recommend this app; it is inefficient and a waste of both time and money.
Great App for Busy Parents
I’ve been using Kiddo to find carers for my toddler twins and it has honestly been a lifesaver on several occasions. The app is easy to use and gives me real peace of mind knowing I can find trusted help when I need it. Highly recommend!
Carers cancelling last minute, no shows and delayed refunds
I’ve have had a number of carers accept a booking and cancel including the most recent experience of a carer not showing up at the time the booking was due to commence. I’ve also had delays in being reimbursed refunds (as you are required to pay for care in full when the booking is accepted) and am still awaiting a refund from the no-show carer and it has been nearly a week now despite regular communication with the company contacts regarding the refund issue.
So great!
I’ve been using Kiddo for a few years now & it’s been so great! It makes things so much easier to navigate bookings and specific needs of the children before accepting a babysitting job. I rave about it to everyone I meet!
Don’t download
Need $10~ to register, and job boards only offer babysitting with “upgrade to apply”. Don’t waste your time and money.
What a relief
What an amazing app! The kids love the variety (and the regular) babysitters available and it’s so easy to use, especially with my shift working schedule. Thanks Kiddos app 🩷
App needs updating
As a career I have applied for many jobs finding parents are not responding if at all to accepting anyone to the last minute and there is no where to cancel the job once applied as I can’t turn down other work if parents want to book me and I’m still waiting to see if the parent on the app need a me for the job Have emailed admin many times no response
Love this App
Game-Changer for Parents – This Babysitter App is a Lifesaver! I honestly don’t know how I managed before discovering this app. It’s genius in every way! From the seamless interface to the incredibly thorough vetting process, everything is designed with parents’ peace of mind in mind.
too many fees
Lengthy process to sign up then charged to have documentation verified. Would be fine if there were jobs available but there aren’t…. You have to then pay for a subscription to receive jobs. The rare free job that shows up is then taken away when you apply and added to the subscription section. Biggest rip off of an app. Do not join.
Great app and Setvice
Have loved the sitters we have booked through kiddo. The app is easy to use and the whole process is very user friendly.
not recommended
the worst app.. you have been charged for nothing
