WONDERWORD
I really like WONDERWORD; however, the last couple of weeks the puzzle of the day was used 3 days in a row and can’t be cleared for other puzzles. Are there not any more puzzles?
Keeps changing
At least once a week I try to open the app and it doesn’t work. Frustrating enough to delete the app and forget it
It’s back!
I love it! Clean, simple, and engrossing, like the newspaper version. The letters are pretty small and a bit too spaced out, which makes it kind of hard to see them. But other than that, it’s great.
Alright
I understand that there needs to be ads, but the way they’re placed makes it impossible to play. Once in a while they’re not in the way and it’s playable, but it’s a rare occurrence.
something bad happened
I’ve been away for a few weeks and the format of the game changed. Letter spacing and markups are way off in alignment. Vertical words don’t work well. Diagonal words are impossible.

Does not work
This app does not work I like to download the puzzle and I am unable to do that anymore. I tried using the app, but it got stuck and I could not use it. I liked the old system better

not been working on my iPad Just my iPhone Can't find a reason why or a way to communicate to anyone that there is an issue please fix the iPad issue also buy the books online
Not as good as
I’ve played and loved this game on my pc for years. I’m so disappointed that I just can’t get it to work right. I highlight a word over and over, and it doesn’t recognize that I have. Very stressful and probably won’t keep trying.

No idea why they have decided to make the Monday, Wednesday and Friday puzzles only available to play on a desktop computer like a few years ago and direct you to another app that is impossible to use. Not everyone wants to be inundated with unskippable, loud, obnoxious video ads just to play one lousy puzzle that is NOT the Monday, Wednesday, Friday puzzles. I can’t believe I have to play on a computer again! Why are we going back in time here? So disappointed.

Hope it gets fixed, I miss my puzzles.

Needs more content
I’ve loved WONDERWORD for 20+ years and owned several of their books. They need to add more content to the app! You finish a puzzle (in 5? 10? minutes) and have to wait two days for another? Make in app purchases available! I’d spend $2.99 for another 10 puzzles. Have several additional “packs” for purchase and you could make a fortune!
Problems
My husband and I both love this game. His neurologist suggested he play games that make him think and this was perfect for that. However, the app isn’t working and the app keeps saying that there are technical difficulties and they are working on them. It has been several weeks and I am wondering if the developer has decided not to fix it.

I love this app but disappointed that frequently it will not load and I can’t get the puzzle.
Locked levels
This app is so frustrating. The app let me play many games and then all of a sudden it locked the levels and I can’t go any further!! What’s the use in downloading this app if I can’t play any more levels???

I hate how this game doesn’t have access to older puzzles like the online version does. Please make this happen it have older puzzles I mean

Well polished game!
As a fellow Canadian, it’s always nice to see apps coming out of Canada. This app is very well polished. The game responds well to the apple pencil. It really works well and is very easy to use. I have a few suggestions for the developers... I personally find it really hard on the eyes when each individual letter is circled. The more words that are circled, the harder it is for me to see what’s left. I would prefer to have the option to change how the words are circled for example; circle the entire word, circle each individual letter, or my favourite, circle the beginning letter and end letter and draw a line through the middle letters. I would also like to add that three puzzles a week is not enough. I’d like to pick from a repository of puzzles. Especially if I’m on a long flight or in the car, it would be nice to sit down and binge on a bunch of puzzles. Maybe a paid option for X amount of puzzles or a small monthly fee to access this content. Keep up the great work!
App problem
App won’t download on my iPad.
WONDERWORD will not run on iPad 10
Although it initially worked perfectly for a few weeks, this app now refuses to run even after being deleted and reinstalled, or having restarted the iPad. The app, when started, only provides a pretty blue screen with an enticing, but very economically sized, gear wheel. Very disappointing!

I like WONDERWORD a lot used to play it every day in the newspaper. I have the app on my iPad for a few months. My problem is that it will not open. I just see the little thinking circle. Any thoughts?

My favourite app
It works great on my ipad. I look forward to Monday, Wednesday and Friday’s. I used to play this when it appeared in our local newspaper every weekend. Just wish it was every weekday.
New iPad, won’t open
New iPad and icon transferred but opens to a blank screen that directs me to the App Store. I tried deleting and reinstalling without success. Bummer as I enjoy the MWF puzzles.
Decent
I enjoy this puzzle games and briefly enjoyed doing them in my local newspaper before cancelling my subscription. There are physical books to help satiated the need to solve the puzzle while offline but one and down. While this app does update on a fairly regular basis, having an archive would be nice to have while waiting for new puzzles to upload. I would give 3.5/5 (too bad there’s no half star options)

Sad there is no content for puzzles every day. Love this game, but will uninstall, save space on my iPad and just use the website ... if I think of it
Have always loved WONDERWORD and love the app
I have enjoyed WONDERWORD for many years and was glad to see the app. If I had the option of more than just Monday, Wednesday, Friday, I would play out to much! Works fine on my iPhone. Won’t work on my iPad though? Would like the larger screen.
Works on phone & internet, but not iPads
I liked using the app on my iPad because of the larger screen and I could use my Apple Pencil not having to get so many fingerprints on the screen. Playing the web version is not the best. Have to use my fingers and adjust the screen to see the word list when playing in landscape mode.
Wonderword app is great.
New game three times a week. Can replay. Automatic scratch out. Click on a remaining word and the first letter of that word shows all your the locations on all the game screen.
Hmmm. Why only one puzzle?
Gee. If new puzzles come out a few times a week, why can’t we bank those and play when we want to or have time to. I love WONDERWORD and want more more more.

I’ve being doing WonderWord for many years. Just downloaded app. Now I can do puzzles anywhere.
Love the game but…
If you can’t actually play it then the app is useless. I love the game, but the app doesn’t work. Like with other commenters, I too would pay $$ for an app that works and has a library of games to play
One of my favorites.
I only wish they would give me a game a day. It’s free but I would buy this game if they provided more puzzles. Still I look forward to the 3 a week I get.
Doesn’t Work
I’ve been waiting for months for this app to work again on my iPad, but even after deleting, reloading the app, all I get is the sign up for the app and a blank page. So disappointing, first the local paper dropped this puzzle, and now the app hasn’t worked for months.
