Useless app that asks for subscriptions
Almost perfect
The app works great. I would like the app to have the same capabilities as the website, like backtesting, etc.
Can’t log in on mobile right after setting up an account via Apple and a paper trading bot
I created an account on the website using my Apple account and created a paper trading bot. Decided to download the app to see what the trades would be like and after the first automated buy, my account won’t let me log in on the app. Only on the website. Oh and the error message says “Something went wront, please try again” maybe go through a spell check of your errors
Nice idea
Too hard to use. Have to constantly re Lynk Coinbase. Randomly stops working and have to constantly babysit. Doesn’t make enough to offset the monthly cost.
Solid model.
I like it. A good balance between practicality and utilization.
Absolute garbage
Not real. Don’t waste your time. Spent all day trying to make it work with my Crypto.com account. Spent hours with their support A.I. and followed everything perfectly. I’m not new to crypto. This just doesn’t work.
Pretty Dam Good, though room for improvement.
It would be amazing to have a chart displaying your portfolio which visually shows were, when, and why, buys and sells are triggered. Another feature that I think is important would be some form of auto-reserving total profit at specified increments in order to lock in profits or something along those lines. The app seems limited in comparison to the browser version. Other than those things and a few other minor issues, I am enjoying using CH. It earns a 4/5 stars from me, leaving room for improvement. Definitely a solid option for automated trading.
Complete waste of time and money
48 hours of lost time and money. What a waste. Everything was if you want this to work you have to but this extra thing etc.. Nothing worked as it said. Make sure you use PayPal so you can get a refund.

Having a Cryptohopper it’s like having a cell phone. Everyone should have it.

90% of verification codes don’t work. Website takes ages to load.
Not robust like the web application
It is a good working responsive app however it lacks much of the functionality the web application has. For basic actions it is fine. Find myself logging in on the web to do what I need to.
When Chinese

Unstable at best
1) seems to always disconnects from my Coinbase account 2) doesn’t obey trade amount settings 3) trades don’t trigger according to config 4) make trades in unauthorized currencies
Broken
The app doesn’t work on iPhone running 18.2.1. The opening tab listing position just says connecting. Other tabs seem to work.
Doesn’t work
There’s nothing quite like the frustration of successfully navigating the API processes to connect your account, only to find that it still doesn’t work. I even sent multiple screenshots to ChatGPT to show that I was following the steps correctly, yet I still encountered issues. Save yourself the headache and consider using a different application. If your app doesn’t function properly, it shouldn’t be released to the public. Thank you for the hassle.
Missing a little touch of TA
Love this service. I just can’t adjust my TA settings on the app. Other than little thing… this app is amazing!!!
Fail
Another update and yet again the app fails. Why can’t the “connecting” issue be fixed for good?!?! I will not pay again until it’s fixed.
Refresh never works
Hi guys, great app but it’s annoying you alway have to shut down the app and open it again before you get updated numbers on your dashboard- please fix this
Awesome
So far so good. This takes the guess work out of diversity in crypto. Moves things around for you keeping your portfolio profitable. I mine crypto and this helps me stay profitable.
Good product
Horrible app, crashes, give wrong PnL percentage to users account and they could not figure this simple problem out. 😡
Getting better
Updated review: The percentage bug has been fixed! Thank you to the devs! Still a little glitchy. I also find that the app always opens directly to my paper bot first instead of my live bot and I don’t see a way to set a default. Regardless, it’s fixed and I appreciate it. I give the app in its current state (as of Oct 10 2021) 4 stars and I have hope it will continue to improve. Original review: Like others, I am plagued by the “Connecting” message for all of my position percentages. I find that changes to the config sometimes do not actually take effect. And I have to switch to my paper bot then back to my live bot to update the overall profit percentage. Not happy at all. This all seems like a huge oversight on the part of the devs. Support has been frustrating as well. I just keep getting told they are aware of the problem and will be pushing out an update soon to address it. If it were functional, I do like the new design. I will gladly update my review and rating once I have a working mobile app again.
Pricing and Limitations
Looks like it has potential, but the pricing model doesn’t make a ton of sense. Pretty limited at any tier with how many positions you can open or triggers you can encode, and there isn’t an unlimited or percentage fee option. Also, it’s unclear whether you can create triggers outside of TA, such as a simple buy-side, no-conditions daily purchase with bracketed exits.
App - New version not a step forwards IMHO.
The new version automatically updated on my phone this week and it seems to be a step backward in my view, in terms of use ability: stats are not even a syncing and its hard to view and manage open positions. I preferred the old one. But the web version is great and very happy with that, so will just using that on my phone and MacBook Pro. Is there a way to revert to old app?
Great app and trading bots
I got this app to help make a little extra money using bots to trade. I was skeptical at first and tried a couple different bots but found one of the free ones I really enjoy. Set it up and walk away. I paid for adventure monthly package and it’s been great.
Can’t get past verification
I will change the rating as soon as I can get past the verification process! They send an email with a code, I out in sent code, app tells me I put in the wrong code. Resend email, re enter code, code denied. This is trash
Good stuff
An excellent service, best in class. Only complaint, and it is minor, is the in-context help could be improved to help when first starting out.
15 decimals and no dollars of profit shown
Thanks for fixing the “connecting” issue. Can you now cut down on the number of decimals and show an overall “dollars of profit” and “dollars of profit” for each holding?
Still need some work
Not all functions are stabel. Cant look at my stats. But overall it is a good app.
No other bot for me
They’ve come a long way. I have been very critical in the past and have left at times but dead set on CH. They have been listening to customer feedback and have improved the app significantly. Keep up the good work 👍🏿👍🏿
Horrible
This app is HORRIBLE. After completely selling my position in ADA and BTC I had to buy the assets back manually. God only knows the tax penalty I’ll incur. Then, after removing those assets from trading in my hopper I woke to discover that it AGAIN sold all of my ETH and ADA AGAIN! Furious!
Great service, OK app
This is a great product - the web version is fabulous. I wish the app lived up to the web version, but at least it provides similar info, albeit displayed a bit differently. Hopefully improvements ahead.
Better design but broken
I like the overall design vs the old one but it doesn’t show the %, it just says “connecting” and if you click on your position it has a red 100% on all positions.
Room for improvement
I have just started using this app, but it crashes upon loading the stats tab. Furthermore I feel the design differs to much from the website version, which makes it harder to navigate.

BOT TRADING
Their bot lost me 40% of my entire account in 5 minutes. SCAM!!!!!! Do not trade with these people.

Browser site is great but mobile app light on functionality. For example, being able to edit config pools or see overall stats across hoppers.
Cryptohopper seems like a great idea…
It appears that you will genuinely have to spend money to make money on Cryptohopper. There are strategies that you can create (if you have the knowledge of how to create strategies in the coding language they use, which could be advantageous) and strategies you can buy and incorporate. If you buy a strategy to use, make sure you pay for a higher tier in order to use it. I paid for a strategy during the free trial only to learn that I couldn’t use it in the free trial, which is pretty silly. Overall, I didn’t find Cryptohopper to be a good app on the iPhone and couldn’t make anything work with Binance (due to not paying a subscription fee). Also, some screens done work/populate and I’m on the latest software version. Unless you’re will to spend as much as it takes to make a modest return, move on to any one of the other bot traders available. I hope things get better as I still have $18 and a strategy to use in CH and their plans start at over $19, which indicates to me a lack of planning.

When will you fix the app? Stats are not loading and gives a white screen on my iPhone X.

Disappointing
Initially app worked fine the. Developed an error and stopped working. In app Support was not helpful. They sent outdated PDFs with instructions that don’t work. Then they tell you to email support who doesn’t respond. Don’t waste your time with this. I have waisted too much already.

Very buggy app
Program is ok but the app is very buggy
3,5 Stars actually
Its 3.5 stars and would be 4 if the configuration would’t be in so many submenus. Maube a horizintal split screen ? The 5th I would give if i could configure the setting of each position seperat like in the web interface. Not every position/cryptocoin can be treated with the same settings for stop-loss etc. “Fix the app” add the same functionality like the webinterface/webpage.
AWESOME NEW DEVELOPMENT
This morning I got up to an awesome update on the Cryptohopper app. Now it looks and functions much like the desktop version. Pretty incredible. For instance, now it is easier to track orders, trade history, and reserves. Using the mobile app went from mildly frustrating (because of formatting and information differences) to a smile before my first cup of coffee. The Cryptohopper development team really did themselves proud on this one!
Broken
Consistently have to reset my bot to get to work. Worked well enough for awhile. Without changing any settings for some time, it decided to sell only at loss. None of my settings allowed it to sell at a loss but it did it anyways. It became a sell at a loss only bot. Didnt make a single profitable sell for a month.
No ability to manually adjust open positions
Unlike the web version, there’s no way to manually adjust open positions like merge them, close them, change stop loss settings, etc.
Doesn’t really auto trade unless you buy
It might buy, it might sell, it might just also erase half a deposit
