WTF with the orientation lock?
For a year or more I’ve used this on my iPad and it was fine in landscape (black bars on each side but I could leave it plugged in and still play a Sudoku. No, not any more. Stupid change
Last Month
I was not able to complete last month because I was traveling. I don’t like that I can’t go back like I can in Solitary.
Great app, way too many ads
I’ve long paid the very reasonable annual subscription but for no obvious reason, this doesn’t work for me anymore (I’m fine paying for other subs), so I get subjected to endless moronic adverts. I need to find an alternative sudoku!
Premium? Definitely NOT!
So come to find out that the “ premium price “ to remove ads for the sudoku game (and all others) is merely a way for Microsoft to double or even triple dip on your game premium purchase! You sign into your Microsoft account on whatever device or platform you are using, so it’s even more ridiculous that Microsoft has to try to milk you out of more money! I have a windows computer and purchased while working in my account. On me that I assumed my purchase with a huge company wouldn’t be applicable on my iPad! I can’t imagine if Apple TV only worked on my iPad and not my Roku tv without paying for it again! Or YouTube premium, which works on the tv app, windows computer, iPad and my husband’s android phone, not to mention the car! Shame on you Microsoft! I’m using your ads now as a bathroom break, coffee break. I’m making sure that NOT ONE advertiser will ever get my business!

Very enjoyable
Ads are out of control
This is a great game but I am finally quitting it in favor of other similar games. The ads are too long and very noisy interference. The ads will frequently (20% of time recently), run endlessly and the only way to stop them is kill the app. It takes all the fun out of a game I have loved and played daily for years
Great game one minor issue
I like Sudoku and I play a daily. The only thing I would like to see is possibly changing the background from lighter to darker when you are in the notes. I don't know how many times I think I'm in the notes and end up inserting a number when I wasn't ready to make an entry. I just wanted to make a note.
Full of junk adverts
Not worthy of the Microsoft brand. Constant bombardment with intrusive full-screen junk adverts that you have sit and watch.

Really don’t like that it won’t go horizontal on iPad. Sound doesn’t bother me as I keep it off. It does bother me when it takes long time to load and after about 10 games it freezes and you have to delete it and redownload to get it going.

Playing well into the 500 level but tab still says 400 level?
Doesn’t work in landscape mode
The App only runs in portrait mode on my iPad. Unlike the Microsoft Solitaire App that recommended Sudoku to me.
Does not support landscape display
I am forced to hold my cover because it does not rotate to landscape. Sorry I paid for the subscription.

Fantastic
This is by far the best sudoku version out there for serious players. You can turn off all the cheats and help. It’s by far the closest version to the Sunday paper and pencil. Fantastic!
Challenge
The challenge is welcome BUT the ads infinitum is NOT.
Almost the best
I subscribed to the no ad version and I have played it for a long time. Suddenly, an ad for a obnoxious game appeared and would not go away. There was no way to stop it. I deleted the app and reinstalled it and found myself back at the very beginning, losing all of my rating. Now, that ad appears periodically and the only way I can get rid of it is to delete the app and reinstall, starting all over again each time. The next time it happens, I will delete the app and cancel my subscription. Update: it happened again. I deleted the app.

Good in fact the best I have ever played however editing notes should be permitted
This app auto renews subscriptions and only allows access to puzzles until the end of each month.
You get to charge me on the auto renew exactly one time before you never get another dime from me again. Your solitaire app has far better playability and value, with puzzles from previous months being accessible. The lack of any warning on the auto renewal subscription was the final straw. I would give this app zero stars if I could.
Advertising
Please rotate the advertising. The colored bottles are addictive to me, which keeps me from your Sudoku game. I detest the “Killing the handsome King” games; killing people is not funny. Launching him to freedom IS funny.
Lots of ads
The game play is fine, but nothing special. The ads are terrible. They are really long and they want you to pay extra to get rid of the ads even if you already have a paid Microsoft account.
What is going on
Such a brilliant app, but now unable to get into it, just a screen showing what is available. It has had hitches in the past but now even switching on and off my I-pad I still have the same screen. Such a pity as it was a brilliant app.

Irregular Rocks!
I love the Irregular block games as well as the classic. The only way to play MS Sudoku on a MacBook, however, is to image my iPhone.

Besides the politics of bill diddling kids your basic simple game is infested with unskippable ads. Rot in hell Gates!
Great version
I love this version of Soduku! I would like to suggest the ability to forgive fat finger key presses and also show a mistakes counter.
Need more facilities
The game is overall ok. I need more facilities such as: 1. Erasing all pencil entries. 2. Confirming all pencil entries. 3. Converting a pencil entry into a confirmed entry. Thank you!
Bug in acknowledging daily challenges still not fixed
I try and complete the daily challenges each day but when I move between locations - and wifi networks - it regularly resets previous challenges to not being completed. The score gets out of whack too. And it’s been doing this for years! Typical of Microsoft to make a bug a feature…

Too many options to deal with adds
Hey Microsoft, with all the money you make on other products, you can’t do a version of sudoku without adds? Well, uninstalling and going with different option.
Lose of data
I like the daily challenges but all my past records have for some reason been deleted so I have lost all this months daily completed puzzles and have to start again!!!!

Not happy. I have a Xbox account through Microsoft and despite this and this app being signed in via that and the Microsoft store I still get crappy ads coming up. Just how much money do they expect you to pay to play some average Sudoku game ….. get a grip and get ads removed.

This is a good challenging game. Now for the BUT: it constantly fails (by showing that it is trying to load) when you change levels of complexity. The only recourse is to switch off and then back on my mobile. It could be a great game.

Even if you’ve watched the ads and tap to close it still opens the store, sometimes few times. So annoying

Played game for a year, paid subscription.I will not be renewing my subscription because I have started to use hints, if I chose to use two hints I get lots of adverts, assuming a subscription removes adverts this app does not.

I have been playing this game set for a long time, but recently I get the RoyalKingdom ad that just freezes and then repeats until the next freeze point, trying to find a way to report the problem which I have not been able to find. When the games work they are great fun
