😂😂
This game is pure chaos in the best way. Sure, there’s a paywall, but that just makes it more fun to squad up with your friends and crush the so-called “whales.” Watching the biggest players topple is the best part. And the complainers in these reviews? Easy targets. Can’t wait to hunt them down next 😂😉
Decent but not free to play friendly
If you don't spend on certain special offers you fall behind people in power/fleet strength easily, Heliopause is only available to purchase when u upgrade station to 16 for 2-3 days and they can compete with drednoughts using nightshade equipment which requires 7 in game purchases (lowest is only 5$). The few "free to play" fragments u can get are trickled so slowly at a rate u can't even combine them for years. (Update post response: Doesn't adress the issues like obtaining heliopauses, grants or nightshade equipment for free. Nighshade available from an event driven by pay to win mechanic is not free to play friendly either. This game is not free to play friendly at all no matter how many times you say it. Mechanics say otherwise.)
Benefit of the doubt, starting game today
Like the title says im barely starting the game so im giving them the benefit of the doubt for now. Reason being, if youre like me then not only to you decide to try a mobile game based on the the gameplay images and videos, but a big part of whether or not to try it out is the reviews people give. Normally i wouldnt try a game with how many 1 stars ive seen, but after reading the reviews i came to the conclusion a lot of people gave a stupid reasoning for hating this game. The main reason is “oH iTs NoThInG LikE sTeLlArIs,” which i find is a stupid reason. Yes, it may be vastly different than the game they were tryin to turn into mobile, but that doesnt necessarily mean its a bad game. Take the AC games for example; lots of people hated AC Odyssey and Valhalla simply because they didnt “feel” like Assassin games but more like and rpg. I myself agreed yes they WERE A BAD ASSASSIN CREED GAME, BUT THEY’RE ALSO HELLA FUN, DOPE, AND GREAT GAMES W RPG ELEMENTS. Basically im sayin don’t take these other reviews too much to heart cuz at the end of the day, they called it a bad game because its not Stellaris, basically theyre only calling it a BAD/WANNABE STELLARIS GAME. At the same time take this review im typin with a grain of salt because, like i said, i havent played this game yet but footage ive seen of it looks really fun hence the reason behind why ima give em the benefit of the doubt. After a few days im going to write another review about my experiencenplayin this game and whether i believe yall should get it or not.
Needs single player
It needs a single player mode. I’m not going to monitor this “game” for months. I suggest adding a single player experience that only takes a few hours to play offline. It should be like the PC version but for people that don’t have money
I mean this is good but...
The graphics are somewhat good (but need to be updated), overall the storyline is good, but many things are left unexplained, such as how to obtain some resources especially engineering research (I have no idea how to get that) which is the main reason my fleets are so damn weak, so please explain how to obtain such things with like a tooltip or something. Besides, why is this game so damn STRESSFUL to play?! There are so many things to care for and I can't even control them most of the time. Take population for example. You can't stop it from going up or down, and I can't even control happiness as well. Upgrading structures and stuff barely does a dent to my station's extremely low happiness. There should be a clear way to earn EC so it all doesn't get teleported to Eta Carinae if I do one thing wrong. So many other things are unclear, like how the hell do i make my weapons and stuff better? This game also literally favors experienced players and gives novices the short end. Why? Literally zero events are for novices themselves, like every single pirate in events like Leviathan and Subspace is extremely strong oh my god. Besides, I CANT DELETE MY DAMN ACCOUNT Please, make this game easier and less stressful to play.
Review
For me I think the game is really fun. I enjoy the multiple galaxy system so you don’t join into a group where your super far behind. Theres a lot of communication with players, not to much pay to win. For me the only thing is trade? The trade option for some reason rarely gives you a opportunity to cancel. So now I have resources just stuck in an infinite loop. Lastly, For upgrading your leader twice to level 41+, finding the materials to upgrade the skills twice is a bit difficult
Huge let down
My coworker showed me his stellaris so I got this to get a lil taste and I’ve only plaid like 20 minutes but this game thins you’re dumb otherwise they wouldn’t have such an annoying long tutorial that you can’t even turn off the instructions. STOP. That is not a strategy game. Regret downloading it and wasting time of my life on it.
H
It’s good
Decent game, horrible touch controls
Scrolling around the map works as expected, but the second you try to zoom in or out… the headache begins. Pretty much any 2 finger touch function straight up doesn’t work… either spazzing out and twitching erratically or not responding or doing anything at all. This seriously roughens up the edges of an otherwise decent game. Also side note, the tutorial is a little too hand-holdy, and some of the text in cutscenes shows up and disappears WAYYYY too fast.
I’d rather buy it.
Honestly if the company re made this game and made it look like the one on PC and consoles, then I would gladly purchase this for $$. Right now This is a waste of time not in the good way.
quantum perspective
helps me with basic structure as a part of gods journey reimagining ones godly stellar self.
I regret downloading it
So what is this game idk cuz it ain’t Stellaris and u might say they can’t copy all of it to mobile and that’s fine but they give this sloppy mobile game that’s all pay to win barely can call it stellaris just disappointing
Some issues
Seems like a standard game. I’m enjoying the theme and story line so far, even though I’m new. There’s some issues though. There’s no settings so you can’t turn down the music (very annoying!). The “scrolling” is way to fast but, there’s a way to read through the dialog after.
The PC game is AMAZING. This? Meh.
I played the PC version. Yes there are add-ons that you can buy, but overall the base game is still amazing. The mobile version is poor imitation of that.
Smh
You shouldn’t force the player to do the beginning tutorial. I deleted the game then when I reinstall I have to do the tutorial all of again.
Fun! A little too “busy”
Tap this screen, tap that one, re-queue this research (four more taps), re-queue structure upgrade (five more taps), send a workship to collect salvage (four), check the daily goals (one), re-queue your shipyard build orders (four), oh look research is done… start again! Once you get past all the fiddly user interface juggling, the underlying game is neat! There’s a vibrant economy, cool ship design and officer customization, and some well-written sci-fi flavored recurring exploration events keeping you immersed in the world. But man, it’s a LOT of taps to keep up with everything.
I want my stallaris to be stallaris
Isn’t this supposed to be like the steam game? Why is it like a traditional mobile strategy game? Where is the AI game play?
Decent Mobile Version
First off don’t this isn’t a port of the PC/Console version, it’s a mobile version with the Stellaris theme. The game itself is decent but definitely has some flaws. If you play mobile games often then you should be familiar with the P2W concept which it definitely can be if you want to spend the money but you don’t have to. If you don’t then things will just take longer to get done. Overall I enjoy it
Potential but greedy devs ruining it
Has potential but the devs are beyond greedy like most mobile games except the sales are so crappy there not even tempting. New leader unlock is 350$. And 0 ways other then the cash store to get the new leader.
Needs a little changes
I just wish that you can customize everything and…why are you not on a planet and lastly I want to just start from the beginning in my opinion but everything else is great.
Frozen on Click to Start Jump
Won’t let me start the game. Is frozen on click to start jump. Tried resetting app.
Pls paradox
Please update the game.. please 🙏 the game has so much wasted potential…if the game had a massive update like us in the N ark have requested, the game could explode. (Causing a massive spike in income aka money 💵 )
Just not for me
I just dont like these kind of games i do understand it is free so u gotta make it lower quality then the other PDX games i just like hoi related things
Just another pay to win war game
Too many pay to play elements! Takes forever to make any progress!
Too much monetization.
Would it be so hard for a company to finally make a multiplayer strategy game with just cosmetics and no predatory pay to win tactics…
Nice job Paradox
good game, very fun
Doesn’t allow you to cancel automatic taxing
Moment you start automatic trade, they EXPLOIT you by not allowing you to cancel the trade
Little bit of Stellaris on the go
I love the original Stellaris so it’s nice to have it on the go
It kicks me out when I tap on systems for the first time
And I can’t get past that point
Review
Nice game I enjoy the choices
Love this
My favourite game is mobile now
Doesn’t run in portrait
All of the game’s screenshots lead you to think the game runs in portrait mode. It doesn’t. It only runs in landscape. How utterly slimey and deceptive to show such screenshots. Deleting.
Fun game
Lots to do!
I can’t play properly
Every time I try and go in the system map thing, it kicks me out of the game. I’ve literally tried everything but I can’t do anything with the game now. Please fix!
Another Pay to Play Game
Overall fairly fun to play once I learned how to navigate the MANY menus and sub-menus. The part I didn’t like is that as I progressed, the app pushed me to purchase resources. You can’t gather enough game resources fast enough to advance at a steady pace. Have fun playing, but have your credit card ready.
very fun and enjoyable
honestly just a great game, in depth mechanics and endless opportunity although at some points you can feel a bit lost but that does not take away from the game
Money makes a winner
Just what the title says. The game allows the most powerful players (those that spend the most $$$) to destroy all other players. Game is depressing. Don’t waste your time.
Not bad
Def one of those mobile games but eh gives me something to do when I wake up and forget about it for the rest of the day
Make it like the PC version.
Why make an mmo version of a game that’s so much better as a grand strategy game like it is on pc.
Fix please
I can’t seem to load into the game it only puts me in a screen saying tittle Leave and description something about the evil forces then has an button saying go but when I press it it doesn’t work like please fix that I enjoy this game
Good game
Good game overall if your a space nerd
Excessive cheating
If you’re going to play this game, do not spend any money on it and expect people to cheat against you, very disappointed this game was kind of fun, but the cheating makes it worthless if you don’t know how to cheat
Great but...
Amazing game except stop asking me to create a paradox account the continuous arrow pointing me to that side mission is annoying
Kind of disappointing.
Why bother make a game like this when you can literally make it the same as the PC version? It’s way better, and remove all transactions and currencies that you can buy with real money removed, and just make this game not free, but costing a few dollars or something. If this game has that much memory, you should make an exact replica of the PC version, too. And it’s going to be more fun when you play the PC version, and for the sake of everyone, also add a multiplayer mode. What I mean is that don’t destroy everyone’s progress, but move it in a game mode called multiplayer. Simple.
Hmmmmm
This is literally the same game as nova empire the sound effects are the same scanning planets is the same killing pirates the same also controlling a space station so I’m wondering if the paradox ripped nove empire off or if people who worked on nova empire also worked on this game
Entertaining
Only been playing a couple of days, but I keep coming back to see how my base is growing.
Fix our server
You just merged servers into someone else’s existing server. This needs to be corrected.
Crashes but I’m hyped
I’m excited to play this, however the game crashes every time I try to view the solar system.
Good idea but
The idea is good great even but I had trouble in the tutorial it kept on freezing on me plz fix.
Epic but...
The game was so amazing. Now you logged me out of the game so I can’t log back in anymore. It says login or register account but it won’t allow me to login even though my password and stuff is correct. Would like to see this fixed
