Favorite game
Best game of all time. I love dgv and I wish more people would play it. It’s so well rounded. I also wish they would add innova or discraft so I could throw what I normally throw:(
Why did you screw with it??
The glitchy physics & unnatural disc flight; not to mention phantom obstacles etc, have made the game less & less enjoyable to play. Started out good. Maybe the change in owner is culprit. But it has gone downhill.
Addicting but buggy
Addicting game for a disc golfer, but unfortunately also full of bugs. In-game sound disappears after you’ve been pushed an ad. On some courses your score is miscalculated. Visuals when putting can sometimes be, let’s just say interesting.

Predatory Ads
Well let me start with, the game itself deserves a 5 star. Lat64 didn’t let the passion of disc golf go amiss with a cash grab game, it’s polished and the physics are GREAT. But the ads RUIN the experience, and I’m not even AGAINST them. However whenever you allow ads that you cannot close!!! I can’t even play a tournament because if I do, an non-closable ad appears on the last hole, I have to close the app just to load back on the Home Screen with no XP or any rewards. Lat64 PLEASE switch the ad service you use!!!

This is genuinely the most unrealistic bs I’ve ever played.
Worth the download!
Overall a great game; only reason not a 5 star is due to constant crashes at 6 holes and you lose your “rated” round and it gives you a DNF basically.
Slippery Physics
The discs are way too slippery and bouncy compared to realistic disc golf. Everything should be more “sticky” naturally. Bounces need to be nerfed as well. There are so many courses that force you to go through thick trees, it really becomes a game of luck on who gets pass or not.
Crashes a lot
I like the game a lot but it crashes way too much. I can’t even do tournaments, it crashes at the end of round 1 every single time and doesn’t save so I just repeat round 1 over and over and over

Needs Update to fix bugs
Great game, though it is in dire need of an update to fix problems. As of the last two weeks, the app crashes about every 3rd round. Sometimes in the middle of a round, which will randomly add a stroke to your score once reconnected.
bad ad practices
This is a very fun disc golf game, but they really need to rethink how they display ads. there is no way to close ads. every time i get an ad i have to force close the game to make it go away. i get that they have to show ads to make money, but not being able to close them really ruins the experience for me. would be 5/5 otherwise.
BAM! CLANG! THUD!
Game constantly crashes. It’s like they’re trying to upset the user, or seeing how far they can push you before you give up and uninstall the game. It’s fun when it works but that’s getting less and less likely with every release.
Freaking Awesome game
Game is Great
Less fun than in the past
When this game was new it was a blast. They’ve since then removed a few PDGA courses from gameplay. Also, when you change phones you lose your entire progress and disc selection. Starting over and getting back to where you were sounds neat, but bags were larger a few years ago and when you have to redo everything it just loses its appeal and becomes frustrating. Also, now there are constant ads. Seriously. This game used to bring me joy and now I’m just so agitated when I play it. You screwed this game up.

Maple hill has performance issues, lots of stuttering.
Overly intrusive adds
The game itself is not to bad. But the adds are infuriating. You’ll spend more time trying to get out of the adds than actually playing. Most adds require multiple time delayed interactions before you are allowed to get back to the game 90 seconds of more later. Some adds like KingShot never return you to the game forcing you to terminate and reopen game to proceed.
Almost great
The game is really really fun, a way to enjoy the sport we all love when we can’t throw for real. My only problem with this game is the physics aren’t exactly realistic. “It’s a game it’s not supposed to be blah blah blah….” The fact of the matter is, it’s turned into a cash grab from when the game was first released. With all the money gained from players the least that can be done is fix a disc sliding 50ft on grass. I’m not sure what courses the devs are playing but man I’ve never seen a disc do that on grass, hard dirt sure, ice? Sure. Lots of compacted leaves? Sure. Literal grass????
Change basket placements please
DGV is a great game and one I play all the time. But the baskets haven’t changed location a single time since the game launched, even on the original courses. It would make the game so much more interesting and would really challenge the people who have somehow perfected every hole and can achieve insane scores every single time.
Paid for no ads and still has ads
I paid for the monthly subscription to get rid of all the ads and yet after every match I play there are still ads needless to say I canceled that 10 dollar a month scam and uninstalled the game. I would’ve bought their PC game as well but at this point I’m pretty sure I would just be paying a one time price for ads instead of a subscription.
Migrating discs problem
Can’t restore old account. Game get stuck at migrating discs. I tried a new account and unfortunately can’t add any discs in the bag. Used to play this game a lot, so would be nice to get back into it.
Great game, but…
Whatever they did with the most recent “update”, the game keeps crashing at random. I can’t even get through a Daily Challenge, much less tournament play or Events. Contacted “Customer Service” - excuse me while I die laughing… was told “thanks for the feedback, don’t expect any changes, enjoy the game”.
Update Losses Disc From Rewards
I tried to do a re-roll on a reward desk at level eight and the game froze and when I logged back in and it took away the reward and did not allow me to pick it for level eight now it shorted me this kind of sad. It’s already hard enough to come by this game specially drivers. I’ve been stuck with the same 10 speed for ever.
Keeps me coming back
I’ve stepped away from this game several times, but I always come back. It can be so frustrating but so satisfying to hit those lucky once in a lifetime shots that go in. Better to be lucky than good at this game, but sometimes when you are good the luck follows. 5 stars!
Full of ads
Loved playing this a few years ago now it’s full of ads. One ad popped up during my daily challenge. Waited 10 mins and couldn’t exit add so there goes my progress.
Amazing game but needs a lot more courses!
It’s an amazing game but it needs a lot more courses. Both challenge the valley courses and irl courses. Would also love to see more disc brands get there lineups on here.
Unruly physics
Every shot in multiplayer anymore is nerfed in someway to travel only half as far or twice as far just to go OB or get some ridiculous reaction. I just aimed a shot into the ground and got no less than twelve air lifts to carry the disc long and into hazard and it has been doing this for weeks. Never in the daily challenge. The programming sucks or hackers are messing with other people’s physics
Great gameplay, poor progression and earning pacing
This game is fantastic, has great visuals and physics. My one main gripe is the progression feels overly tedious and lacks engagement. The rewards for completing a round or challenge is lack luster and coins are hard to come by and earn. They aren’t used for much but when you want to upgrade your bags it gets incredibly expensive, even worse when you get an upgraded bag it doesn’t have more slots open just more to buy. Mainly it try’s to pull you to its paid for mechanics but even then it’s pretty lack luster and non motivating. It would be nice to be able to trade multiple copies of a disc for an upgraded one

UPDATE: immediately following my 1 star review, my account seems to have been placed in a bad state. Usually a pro tier player and have not been able to win a single match out of the 17 I've played since my review. I'm getting the craziest bounces and deflections I've never seen before, put OB or in water due to wild rolls and deflections, and worst of all, while putting, getting (hitting leaves) animations many times when there is no free or bush even close to me, forcing a missed shot. DO NOT DOWNLOAD. Online matches are fixed and there are too many cheaters. Devs rarely fix any issues and the same ones have plagued the game for years. The discs/wind/how discs fly is the most inconsistent, not too mention you'll probably have to spend money if you want any decent discs. Don't waste your time here!
Pro tour rewards
Last 2 weeks i have realized that after claiming my pro tour rewards, I have to re-start the game and i am nor sure am I even getting my xp and coins. And last two multiplayer games i have struggled wirh re-connecting, my game crashed and I had to open the app again to try re-connecting. I cannot re-connect and got -15 points. And once i birdied one hole and got crashed again I had to open the app again. This time re-connecting worked, and I had to play same hole again. Of course i birdied it again but the game says that i got double bogey and because of that i were the last and got -14 points. Those problems came out like 2 weeks ago. So thanks!
Must Force Close Every Round
The game itself if fine, but after each round you must watch an unskippable ad for another game, many of which never end and you can’t close the ad so you have to force close the game. You can’t pay $5 to remove ads…. Or…. You can just uninstall. If the devs add a timer on ads that allows them to be closed I might play again.
It’s not very realistic.
Loving the game so far, however some of the wind physics and the distance measurements aren’t accurate. It’s very frustrating as I’m and avid disc golfer in real life, and if these could be improved in a future version it would be much more entertaining to play.

Turn off the forced ads, you are getting plenty of money from sponsors and the optional ads, quit being money hungry, it’s despicable

Great game but last update made game a bit glitchy even with the latest iPhone. I’m aware that I can change the resolution and frame rate. Sometimes simple user interface can be better than new and shiny. That being said game is addictive and at least I’m not able to master all the courses.
No profile credit
I played this game until a few years ago. It was fun, a lot to like. I spent hundreds of dollars no worries. When I decided I wanted to start from scratch with a new profile there weren’t credits available from my previous profile. That’s a deal breaker for me. If you erase your old profile you should be able to use that money to build your new profile
All the same
Game is great but The first few years required no update and no advertising, now they keep figuring out better ways to shove more advertisements down your throat and track your data better. I wish you could buy these games and not be subjected to the slaughter of corporate manipulations aka advertisements
Great game but annoying when you switch phones.
Been playing the game since it released, my only gripe is when you switch phones, 9 times out of 10 you have to start over. 🤬😡 plus customer service never gets back to you when you email them.
Bad physics
don't even download it. everything is an in app purchase for dollars not game coins earned. there is no way you'll progress without buying things because the app has nothing to do. you might not even know what the games goal is. i don't. just don't do it, pass on this game.

The Valley Below, Smoothieland ruin it
This game has been fun for a long time, the two courses The Valley Below, Smoothieland are so janky that is definitely takes away from the "realistic" part that is advertised. Stop waisting time on these poorly designed courses and spend more time on new courses that replicate real life courses. Such a shame.

Love the game, been playing for a long time. Latest version is a little buggy and crashes at end of a round for me. Losing progress after throwing a good round is frustrating.
