Fun game, but ads are killer
I’ve had the game for over a year now and enjoy playing it. The amount of ads seem to be getting worse and more annoying. If the volume continues to grow, I’ll probably take another look and see if I can find something comparable to play instead. Also, it is impossible to be competitive if you don’t by all the gadget balls that have nothing to do with golf. You can shoot a 10 or 11 under and end up in 5th place or worse. Add to the fact that you have ace players playing in tournaments well below their talent level and you have no shot.

Honestly it’s a great game. But the makers decided to fill it with annoying ads for terrible products like gambling apps and other dumb games. Not worth it.

Game used to be good, but is starting to get boring. Same characters and clothing for years, but recently added items that you need to pay for with real money

Expensive and glitchy.
Used to spend a lot of $ on this game, too much in fact, so I took a break. Just tried playing again and the game is super glitchy! It freezes every third or fourth screen change and I have to force stop the app to get it to work again. This game would be way better if you could just buy a monthly subscription, power ups add up very quickly! But unscrupulous of the devs to continue charging that much when the game barely works! And yes I have 5G UW and high speed wi fi at home and it doesn’t matter, neither works. Don’t waste your money on this expensive and glitchy game!

Fun, but pay to win.
Cool golf game! As a competitor I only wish that you was able to earn everything versus having to spend money if you really want to complete. Unless you spend money you’re at an unfair disadvantage. You can win coins and so on but face it, to really compete you’ll need to spend some money especially once you’ve become at a higher level. The club distance is also misleading, spend money or be at a disadvantage. As a competitor someone who loves to compete I feel cheated every time I play.

This game can be better. There are part which is good and other pats not that good. The most annoying aspect is the adverts. You cannot play one hole without an advert popping up to buy another game. This is the first game I have played that you are bombarded with adverts.

On an iPhone the app doesn’t always show wind direction due to the apple phone camera area. So I have to guess where to aim the ball. It is affecting my score
Almost Fun
I wrote a much more graphic/critical critique of this game a bit earlier but can’t seem to find it here. Funny thing I noticed. When you click to leave a review, 1st thing you do is pick the star rating. Then proceed to the writing. However, if you’re not paying attention, the app or the game will will automatically switch whatever you starred it as it marks it as a 5 star. Anyway, the game is fun. Butt they make the putting absolutely impossible. Which makes me really ANGRY. Like Hulk Smash Angry. So that’s fun.

Wish the app wouldn’t randomly close right when a course is loading. It sucks because I really want to play and yet for some reason now, it just keeps closing. Other than that, super fun. Great ways to play without paying as well as getting three stars without special golf balls. Not sure why people are complaining about that.

I enjoy the game and the effort to bring new courses. Just wish there was a way to pick which course you want to play. Been playing for a week and still haven’t been given a chance to play the new course :(

I’ll admit this is not bad and it’s the better out of some of the golf games available however it gets boring and it’s the same as all the others where you have to spend more money than sense on a game to actually progress anywhere. If you carry on playing for free, you accumulate a lorry load of coins that prove to be pointless in terms of real progression and it’s the gold bars that cost which you need to actually get anywhere; another game I don’t understand why they don’t charge a one off fee. Also I get a light hearted golf game but to play golf in a pair of pants, flippers or to have an octopus on your head is enough for me to sack it off!

“Downloader” imbedded in game code makes endless “errors” iPhone promax 14 , updated and on FIOS wi fi with NO OTHER issues . This game just doesn’t play well and has constant splash screen blaming connection while 4 other gold games including UG WGT and Stars all running fine . But OK it’s users fault

Best iOS Game
Given that there’s a campaign, contests, etc.—and you’re not subjected to playing one hole head to head—this is hands down the best golf game for iOS. If I could make a few suggested improvements they’d be: - include lefties - more clothing/customizable options - allow clubs changes on the green (for when there’s a cliff, edge, etc. between the flag and your ball) - iron gaps are laughable, way off, and extremely inconsistent. For example, vulture irons are as follows: 9i - 94y 8i - 118y (24y gap) 7i - 131y (13y gap) 6i - 140y (9y gap) 5i - 150y (10y gap) 4i - 168y (18y gap) 3i - 187y (19y gap) 2i - 210y (23y gap) - while I understand people will pay for gold, chests, etc. and that it’s good for your business, having an option to adjust trajectory w/ out gold tees would be nice. |__> additionally, having an option for pitch, punch, etc. would be add another element Aside from those suggested improvements, awesome golf game. Finally something that can steal hours upon hours attention.

Has its challenges but hard to play your best until you get the gold bars to upgrade. This takes awhile unless you are willing to pay.
Some Enjoyment
I do appreciate the challenges. It definitely has its skill levels. Yet, I will log on, sometimes play one hole, and ad, i’ll play three holes, ad. There is an average of 2 ads per 4/5 holes played. Fact is that just one ad takes longer than playing three to four holes. of course i know ads are required. I just don’t agree with that many.
