Enjoy the game - Crashes too much
The game is fun, very addictive and you don’t have to spend money to enjoy it. However, the game crashes too much and it’s getting worse. Now it has started fast strobe flashes when crashing, which is a fun feature. I’ve stopped playing the game until there’s an upgrade improving stability.

Game freezes constantly
I’m so tired of losing coins while playing a tournament because this game freezes. It happens every single day multiple times. I’m here writing this review right now because I was just playing a game, while I was winning. Until all the problems get fixed with this game I’m going to delete it and find another golf game to play.
A bit I nconsistent, but fun.
This can be a fun game. The big inconsistency here is the wind. It can affect your ball a lot on one shot…then your next shot, you’ll try to play the wind and it seemingly won’t affect it at all. That can get quite frustrating.
Excellent Game - Huge Stability Issues
I have been playing this for a couple of years! Today is the worst stability for a long time! If you drop out of a game, why can you not re-state prior status! Four times today from a winning position on a Sunday! To loose so many coins is a farse! And Soooooooo aggravating! Really annoying for such a great game!

As of 12 18, 2025 the new update has problems connecting to Facebook to login it’s annoying.

Glitchy
This game constantly freezes mid game, taking entry fees with it. The NPC players randomly get way too good. Close to being a fun game but it’s clearly not maintained and programmed to try and get you to spend money in app.

Good Game but has a lot of cheating and they don’t do anything to stop it. I have turned people in and have no response from Golf Strike.

I’m here for a good time, not a long time
This is a fun and easy game to play. You can pick it up and play for 5 or15 minutes a few times per day and be easily amused. On,y thing keeping this 4 star review from the famed 5th star is that I frequently try to play a more expensive game and prior to the game loading I fail to connect and I lose my entry fee for the tournament or match. This usually takes the wind out of my sails and I don’t play for a while. I have not deleted the game though. It’s still fun even after it robs me of all my coins.
Bots
Regularly cuts you out of a game and you lose your entry fee. Plus what you would have won. Playing dual mode is almost always a bot that never misses. Completely unfair and a waste of money. Also won’t give you the clubs you need to upgrade. You’re not allowed to purchase them. And on and on with ways to try and separate you from your money. Frustrating and after a while, just boring.
Otherworldly Winds
Winds are constantly above 10+ mph and unless you hit perfect shots, you end up with terrible shot angles.

I played this for several years every day then just recently it started freezing up !! Lost game after game because screen was frozen!! Deleted and re downloaded now I lost all my stats !! Will not play again

Because with this game people don’t even have to sink the ball to win. They can win just being close enough.
Very poor ongoing connectivity
Great concept and enjoyed the game to begin with but connectivity is VERY VERY poor. No other game looses connection as this game! Just read the other reviews and you will see this has been an ongoing problem for the developers from the start. It’s fine if your playing the low entry fee games but if you play the bigger ones you can guarantee you won’t make it to the final game or shoot out and loose a lot of your coins. Real shame but this is my final visit as deleting from all my devices 😢. Don’t waist time replying to me developers. Instead spend the time sorting it out😡

You can not get on a run
You keep buying stuff, fun game but you will not win, serval times the person I was playing went in the water and I played perfect and some how I was 1 or 2 strokes ahead and they still won. You lose your money here if they don’t fix the problem. But very fun game. I have put in over $1,100 dollars the game is fun but you will not win. I have 6 different people I played go in the water multiple times and I did not and I got par and they won. Like I said it is addictive can be fun game but it is not far, and I faced I hit a good shot and my opponent hit the ball 3 times on the green a 400 plus shot mo way. Cheating I hate that the game is fun besides stuff like that
Frustrating game
I have exactly the same problem as previous reviewers. The number of times I have been out in the lead about to win big and game just disconnects!!! The game itself is good but I have completely lost faith in its connectivity issues. I have lost tens of thousands due to this. Come on developers, it can’t be that hard to stabilise the game, my WiFi is perfect so it’s not that

Very good game..BUT..
I play this game every day, I love it. BUT...the game keeps crashing & taking most of winnings away..I have lost thousands of coins due to this & stops me from proceeding to higher levels..! Currently looking for a similar & more stable game play golf app. So annoyed I’ve had to leave this mediocre review for what is a very good game..play with caution..! *Developers do not say to re-install game..! It doesn’t work. I have just lost £15000 coins threw getting cut off AGAIN & Iam getting fed up with game now. Basically stealing money.

Crashes
Giving up on this game. Although fun to play it keeps crashing and taking winnings. Reloaded game and restarted iPad but no difference. Wont be playing again.

This game could be amazing. The fact you play others at the same time and don’t have to wait forever for others to take their turns is alone enough reason to love this game. I REALLY wish they had the server capacity to actually let me play this game and it is super fun for the half game I get to play before being kicked from the game. What is even more frustrating is it takes coins to start the game and you lose them every time you are booted from the game. I want so badly to like this game but it is infuriating to constantly be kicked from a game you are doing well on and lose all those coins. Great game, but you should skip it if you actually want to be able to finish a round (3 holes) and not lose all your coins and progress.

Only rating a 3 for the frequency of disconnects! Some days I may DC once, other I DC every 3-5 games! Please fix!

App is poorly written. Constant issues. When you report the issues, they ALWAYS blame the connection. They do not care and the player or the game!

Unrealistic courses bad design
Tournament courses unrealistic for new players joining and lost coins with crashes on iPhone 13 when playing 6 player matches despite 70mb connection. I expected better from this franchise so don’t go wasting your money guys just too unrealistic courses for example can’t reach fairway with basic equipment hope this helps people thanks .
Starting Over
I lost my phone and had to start over! I thought that would be terrible, however it was exciting to see new players make many of the same mistakes that I had made while learning new skills and techniques! Great Game! Thanks Mike
Terrible game play
Terrible game. Bots are all you ever play and they make unbelievable shots. They never make mistakes. The game will steal your money and their support does nothing.
Great game but Connection Issues
Great game however the connection issues are still there. Can you listen to reviews and fix it. If a person drops out you can’t rejoin the game and you lose your money. How can we safely purchase on your app without continually losing out. It borders on theft. Please listen to your users and fix the game play and connection issue. If a person drops out either let them rejoin the game or don’t deduct their money.
Freemium isn’t free
Great game but upgrading clubs is practically pointless. Club distance is its greatest drawback. Upgrading is entirely too expensive. You can’t play the more expensive rounds without upgraded clubs. They can’t cover the distance.

Great game but very annoying as quite a lot of the time while I’m playing I get kicked out and saying “connecting”? It’s doing it quite a lot and I no it’s not my WiFi as the son is playing it at the same time and he’s doesn’t get kicked out of game, it’s annoying and starting to think of playing something different
