Love this game!
I’ve had it on my phone for a couple of years now it’s fun and easy to play and get into. It’s so easy to earn gems and the storylines are interesting also 10/10 illustrations!!
They continue to reduce content
Does not increase content being put out (other than more gacha options), despite increasing revenue. Recently reduced the amount of art we are given with each gacha and repeatedly defends AI on twitter. Anyone who offers criticism is being blocked by the official page. Absolutely poor management and no care for fans.
Gameplay
I really wish that the game had an easier mechanics when doing cases. I love the story but it feels impossible to continue when I can’t pass the cases.
No Changes
Two years since I started playing. What have they changed since then? The load-in screen is a bit different, changed the background colors for items almost a year ago, added a new house recently, but yeah, that basically sums it up. The game play is the exact same it has been all two years. No mini events, no map changes, no changes in gameplay. It’s honestly so sad to see a game that had so much potential go to waste. The devs don’t care. The game is dying and nothing is being done to save it.

i love this game, the story and the characters are awesome, but i think there’s a few things that can be improved for the game to be a better experience, like the gacha system that is terrible, even though the crystals are not that hard to get, the banner duration is really short and the guaranteed card starting from 500 summons is crazy and impossible to reach. I also ask that you refrain from using AI and that the illustrated amulet cards return.

I’ve had a lot of fun playing this game, The story is amazing and the characters are all very unique in their own ways. I love the protagonist too, since she’s really cute. However, I think it’d be pretty cool if we were able to choose between a male protagonist, female, or nonbinary! It’s not very immersive for non-female players when their character is constantly being referred to as “girl” haha! Otherwise this game is a solid five! Highly recommend it if you’re into stuff like JJK, creepy pasta, or Tokyo ghoul!
Upset
I’m not liking the fact that the developers aren't going to make new warding cards that are mostly separate from the episodes. They blew their budget from collaborating with brand deals no one asked for! Their merch is overpriced so no one can really afford it—a lot of poor decisions that are going to affect their budget and the game altogether deeply. Focus on the game and then maybe you’ll have enough to make affordable merch. Listen to your fans PLEASE
Nice game, hard levels
Before I say anything, I debated on putting 4 or three stars but the problem I’m mentioning is just so bad for me I had to put three. Anyways, The game started off pretty fun, and the galaxy express levels and stuff were fairly easy so I could farm up on levels to go longer into the story without having to play but as you continue the levels get harder and harder and you just faint even beat them anymore without having to level up a whole million points, the characters and story are fun but the levels are just so unbearable to complete that I end up leaving the game constantly which I then miss out on a lot of episodes so I struggle TERRIBLY trying to catch up, the game really is fun, I just wish there would be some revision over the levels. One last thing, it also annoys me a bit how level-power doesn’t match a lot of the time, in galaxy express and arena, in the galaxy express I could be level 81 and the monster is level 59 and I’m still just loosing terribly even though I’m doing all that I can’t to level and balance my characters as a f2p, same with arena, I just wish that’d be worked on.

it is really unfortunate that the company behind this game seems to be run by morons. the game has such an interesting story with compelling characters and beautiful art, but the gacha rates are abysmal and the company would rather use its budget for useless luxury giveaways instead of paying artists to continue creating artwork for the players. deciding to now use comic strips as warding cards is lazy. also, the company is just completely immature. with any kind of criticism online, they'll block your account immediately. as much as i once adored this game, i would be ashamed to recommend it to anyone

All I ever get is SSR warding cards, I don’t even have one SSR CHARACTER card to my name even with multiple ten pulls which granted me 4 SSR warding cards in total. Please make it easier for the ftp players to be able to enjoy the stunning visuals and joy in battle of having SSR character cards. 💔💔💔

Its a cool game that’s basically an online manga but the ads promoting this game, show customising avatars and different options in the story, but really, there are options, but its more boring than what it seems like.

Nothing special
I was attracted by the advertising, but after installing, I discovered that many small games, such as puzzles, were not available. Additionally, character appearance customization was also missing. The seasonal events keep repeating with no new changes. Furthermore, the germs are overpriced.
Amazing story, incredibly predatory gacha.
story is actually insanely interesting and genuinely makes me wanna play for hours. To read these stories you need to go through cases/levels that get exponentially harder and to beat them you need more power. Which leads to pulling for characters. But it genuinely feels almost impossible to get ANY ssr characters (not warding cards) as someone who is f2p. Hard pity feels impossible to reach, 100 pulls does not give much except disappointment as I pulled 4 ssr on banner *warding cards* which made me crash out. Honestly, my unluckiness and predatory gacha sometimes does not detour me from story. However, as previously mentioned, the cases got exponentially harder. Any type of combo from the one ssr and decent amount of sr I have does nothing. I have been stuck at one case even after 2 weeks of grinding. Im so done. 2 stars for story, one star specifically for Towa Otonashi.

As somebody who’s played arcana twilight and obey me this otome was really good. love how you can skip the battles that instantly tell you if you’ve been defeated so it doesn’t waste time when you’re grinding. the story is written well and i love all the characters. thank you!

The art, user interface, and translation is fantastic. I love the story & the gameplay too— but in my opinion the prices are very steep and thus far none of the guys seem interested in MC (aside from Kaito). I’d like it if in future, the characters start having more romance-leaning attitudes towards the main character. Very fun otherwise :)
i love the game but
it was way different that the advertisement. completely different from the concept they teased about years back on twt. i honestly don’t mind the gameplay though, i still play it daily but the nightmare raids is infuriating because theres no fixed schedule of what materials there are, and it’s very inconvenient when there are no rainbow apples for four days straight and etc. my suggestion would be to have a fixed schedule for the materials that will be available on that day, like have one of each materials per day.

used to be able to get decent cards here and there but the rates have been shot down so ridiculously low it’s laughable. have to spend 50k+ in diamonds just to get one card. too little reward for how much time is put into this, but i suppose it’s to be expected with these types of games.
Not bad but there is room for improvements
The game character designs are not bad, but I feel like I got click baited as there were advertisements that showed that I could customise the guy that I’m interested in, but there wasn’t an option in the final game. Also, I wish we could automatically update the classrooms all at one instead of tapping manually. The pity system is also a bit too high given that it can’t be transferred. I also think that the ward cards should be separated from the character cards.
Great in theory
I honestly really liked the game at first, but the use of AI was/is not something that made me want to continue playing. There is a bunch of great art, but AI just makes the game look tacky and it draws me out of the experience knowing the devs would rather use AI than make the game fully immersive by paying real artists. In fact, I’d rather the game make me watch an ad for XYZ than to have to look at the AI. It also seems that the game is very pay-to-win, which is not something that attracts long term, or even short term players.

Oh why there is the girl’s voice? I play this game because I only want to hear the boys’ … I’ll change to 5 stars if you can add feature to mute the girl. Sorry.

Free to play game play non existent
I want to like this game. I even spent probably around $100 over the first few months I played it. But now I’m in a situation where I don’t have the extra income and I just can’t enjoy it. I’m barely 3 mil power and top room for raids is 17k power?? If you don’t do the raids within the first ten minutes the chances of being able to find a carry drop significantly. On another note the amount of generative AI used in the ads for this game is just down right disgusting.
Loving it so far, but improvements could be integrated
I’m not one to write reviews but there are certain aspects of the game in which could be improved to enhance the experience of the game itself. Overall, absolutely loving the storyline and the characters. It’s unique and quite easy to follow, I really like the fantasy/detective genre. However, when it comes to unlocking new chapters it’s really just time-consuming and quite difficult to achieve for a F2P player. Despite that I feel as though there’s just quite an imbalance in the quality of the art, obviously it’s just my preference but I feel cheated because the story is good and the characters are amazing but when you couple it with “AI-generated” backgrounds it just really throws the game in the direction of something that was rushed or something that was deemed unnecessary to put work into. Cases are overall already difficult to advance even as someone who has already spent quite a bit. But I do understand the underlying purpose of the difficulty is to prolong the progression of the story. But it could be improved to prevent that monotony. As a suggestion I feel as though more things could be added to divert that momentum of drawl. Perhaps more mini-games could be added with prizes or just better rewards when competing in arenas. When it comes to gacha pulls it could be tweaked a bit because it’s already difficult, obtaining gems which is the main source of levelling aside from other unique currencies within the game. As for the introduction of limited-edition character cards. The timeframe with the rates of SSR pulls is just something that is not worthwhile. Especially when certain players like particular characters but they’re unable to collect a character card due to rate pulls. Nevertheless, I do have high hopes for this game and wish to see improvements in future updates. Please keep up the good work I’m looking forward to it!
Expensive
Note that micro transactions are ridiculously expensive. If you want to be competitive you’ll have to spend many hundreds of dollars after just a couple of days playing around. Buying a few new release PlayStation games will be much better value.
Honest Review
I love the game honestly, everything about it is enticing and the whole gameplay is enjoyable. My favorite thing are the comic like snippets within the story and the characterisation of all these characters it's quite distinct but not flat. The only criticism I truly have is how expensive the 10 pulls are but I understand that it simply is apart of the game but I recommend if you do want to lower it, lower it down to 1600 similar to most gacha games. This game has an amazing storyline and the mini games are really enjoyable too! I also have seen many accusations of the use of AI and I agree I have been seeing it which is very disappointing due to the fact that I assume there are many capable artists which can be commissioned for. I also would like to critique the fact that many have been saying that the ads are not matching up. I implore you to fix this as this will not bring the people who want this game. You cannot customise the characters at all.

No ads, fun stuff, it’s amazing and it has anime style drawings! I found an ad of it and I am hooked. Though the only thing I have a problem with is that you use premade options to interact, I wish you could type your own if you want to. But overall it’s so good! I recommend it 100%

Tale As Old As Time
Story, Voice Acting and Characters 10/10 But just like most husbando gatcha, it's super pay to win, they even charge you diamonds to change your profile picture. Low drop rates, chibi battle sprites and no free pulls. disappointing but not surprising.
Design of Game of Claws flawed and game is getting boring
Design of Game of Claws is flawed. Eventually it’s just same guilds with high power members (ie those high spenders) dominating every game at every map. Should peg guilds of similar power to play together and also allowing more guilds to participate instead of only top 16 guilds in kudos. 2 weeks duration per map layout is just too long to be committed every night at specific duration to play the game. Getting pretty bored of it.

I pre-registered but only today found out that it had dropped and had to download it when I was looking through my ‘purchases’ tab. Have high hopes for the game so I’ll be sure to come back with an accurate review once I play but for now it’s not the greatest of starts to find out so much later that yeah it’s actually been here for a while
Actually incredible
I’ve seen people rating this game low and saying you have to pay to enjoy and succeed, but I haven’t spent a single cent and I’m having a lot of fun! Sure, getting SSR characters helps and all, but the story and gameplay make up for it tenfold. I fell in love with the game, and while I normally dislike supernatural/fantasy games, this totally pulled me in! Obsessed, 10/10!!
Fake ad, scammers, not worth the download
Literally got this because the adds look interesting, but it’s nothing like the ad. This is a game that’s literally boring af. I’ve wasted too much time in my life. You can’t build your power higher than others unless you spend real life money. You’ll get scammers messaging you everyday to join their discords so that they can steal your money. Not worth it. Collecting cards of only guy characters… Boo~ Interesting storyline… Meh~
Crazy expensive but good, I guess
I love the plot/ storyline and the art is good but why is it $40USD for a 10 pull? Crazy expensive for a first release game and the preregistration gifts are non-existent. It’s crazy that I’m level 27 and barely have enough characters for 1 team. It’s hard to motivate myself to play because even grinding storyline there’s no gacha dopamine. Becomes p2w at level 38 apparently, so we’ll see if I manage to get that far. Good work on the game so far but struggling to motivate myself based on current costs/ rewards.
Gacha rates are terrible
I like the story quite a bit, and I’m fond of all the characters. The gameplay itself is below average, nothing special about it. I agree with some other players that it’d be nice to have the characters more romantically interested in MC, but that’s not my big issue. The huge issue is how badly pay to win this game is, and the gacha is awful. I saved up a lot of diamonds and spent all of them on the gacha trying to get one card for my favourite character, and never got it - there’s no guarantee at all. Even big games like Genshin have a guarantee you’ll get the character after a certain number of pulls, but this one definitely has nothing like that. The price for the diamonds in order to pull is way too steep, and you’re just not given enough of them as rewards. My only incentive to keep playing is the story because I enjoy occult related story and having a self-insert, but again, there’s not exactly much romance or anything. Pretty disappointing since I’ve been following and waiting on the game’s release for a year or two, ever since I first saw it announced and watched it repeatedly get delayed.

personally the story is fun and you can read a lot of chapters after clearing a level but gacha rates are so low and the limited gacha time frame is extremely short so it’s really not worth it. the levels are also extremely hard to clear after a certain point as a f2p so I feel like there’s not much motivation to play either
