What people like
- Much faster than the website
- Works well on mobile data
- Actually works without major issues
- Great lifesaver when site is down
What they complain about
- App crashes or won't open
- Progress gets lost if you quit
- Scores shown don't match actual performance
- Commands often don't see your results
I love it!
I have used it for 3 different cycles. Never had an issue.
Unusable
In its current status, whenever you open the app it immediately closes itself, please fix.
Work around
This app works IF you enable your email address otherwise you'll get an error message
Crashed
Whatever “bugs” were fixed recently made it worse. I had the app open and it crashed and it won’t reopen. I don’t want to uninstall it and reinstall it because all of my progress will be lost.
PO1
Great concept over all but when trying to submit complete and or contact NTMPS I kept getting an error. Good thing I saved my certificate.
Good
Good
Useless
The app does not generate a certificate with a score and my command ESO will not accept this. Can app development team change this? e-Learning generates a Certificate with a test score. This app gives me my individual score but I can’t send two screenshots or prove the screenshot is from my app to my leadership for my EAW. Also, wherever the certificate goes to it doesn’t reflect in my training record.
Working Fine...
But not taking my dodid to upload test results ☹️
LIFESAVER!!
Omg. I was freaking out because E Learning was not working for me at home. I tried 3 different computer in 2 different locations and the website was completely down on the last day that PMK’s are due for eligibility. That was my fault for procrastinating until the last minute. I almost gave up until my friend told me about this app. After reading the reviews I was skeptical that it wouldn’t work. This app has mostly bad reviews. At this point it was a 50/50 chance it would work and my PMK would be completed on time or I would just have to try again next exam cycle. WELL IT WORKED!!! I took me 1.5 hours to complete. I also downloaded the original mailing app with the white envelope and blue background first before starting it and made sure my email was connected to that before starting and finishing the PMK. It also will ask you for you DOD once you finish and you can save your certificate to your camera roll, and files before emailing it to yourself. The email was an actual certificate not a file or PDF that I know of. THE APP WORKS. They definitely considered all the reviews they got from 1-2 years ago and definitely made fixes to the app as well as notes to help guid you in the app if you don’t know what to do. Definitely will be using again if I ever need to.
gives me pain
this is the worst app that I have ever used
Life saver
In the day age of accessibility this app is one of the bright points
Don’t join the navy
Like the title says, never join the navy because not only will they never advance you, they will make it a pain in the a— just to do it. Welcome to the PMK-EE app. If there is anyone in the upper navy reading this, I promise you no one has ever taken the time to learn everything on here. I know that because if google doesn’t know the answers to every question on here, no one does. Remove this from the requirements for advancement. I beg of you.

Wasting time
One thing navy really good at doing is wasting people time. This is one of them.
Very convenient
This app is a real life saver! Especially when it was nearly impossible to log into the Navy e-learning site.
DOES NOT WORK !!!!
I took the same course twice. All my answers were shown correct in the end, but for some reason it showed me score of 53% and 43% :(
It works
Government app done right! No sarcasm. It actually works. 😧
Can’t get past Disclaimer window
App downloaded, I went to open it, the first thing you see is a disclaimer. I scroll to the bottom, hit “accept” and nothing happens. It stays on that screen.
Great app and simple to use if
This app is amazing! I was able to complete my PMK-EE in less than two hours! All you need is a decent connection, (I was on my 3g) and an email already set up on your cell to send the completion cert. (my default email is gmail) That’s it and FLTMPS was updated 2 days later.
Certificates are invalid
I completed the PMK EE4 and my command doesn’t see it in their database.
Mail setup is important
Worked great for me. Make sure you have the “Mail” app downloaded and setup for this app to work correctly and won’t send completion certificates. Does not require a CAC and doesn’t rely on NMCI speed.
Will not be using again
This app works good if you get all the tests done right away. However if you finish a category (or 4) and don’t complete it, there’s a chance when you get back in all your progress will be lost! I did not delete or remove the app and this has happen to me more than once. Do not recommend using this to complete your PMK-EEs. If you just want to practice or see the types of questions it could be beneficial.
E-mail Error
If you have an iPhone, make sure that the “Mail” app is active.
