I’d say that this app would get a two star rating because it works well except it doesn’t really have a timing system
infinite loading screen
since the update for some reason it has become impossible for me to access the pitch and spectogram tool. sometimes the resonance tool works. whenever i try to click it it just shows me an infinite loadingscreen. i‘d love to give this app a five star rating because of its cause and free access but it seems like there are issues with the programming itself :(. would love to have this bug removed so i can use it again.

Because of the new update, the app doesn’t work anymore. When you open it, you’re stuck frozen on the first screen and you can’t do anything but exit the app and wonder wtf
I like the app but it needs work
Although I can feel myself making some progress by playing back the recordings and hearing my voice speak random phrases, the pitch reader seems to need some serious calibration on my 14 Pro Max. I saw other people in the reviews with the same model experiencing the same issue. Sometimes it works fine, but it usually spikes heavily in different directions in ways that do not correlate at all with how I've spoken.

This app was so good until they implemented a new version that literally made this app garbage. Now it does not work at all.
Great for practice! Except for a glitch.
Trans guy here! Great app for practicing deeper pitches, and the playback is especially helpful. However, rarely the app glitches while I’m using the pitch section and the indicator either shoots up, or down in an extreme manner, in the middle of me speaking, while my voice didn’t actually change pitch by that much. Not sure how to replicate it, as it seems to be random, but other than the glitch I found, it’s great!
Poor Support
It's a good app but a recent update broke the app, causing it to load forever when selecting any of its functions, and an even more recent update failed to fix the issue.

Pitch is not gender
Voice training with pitch alone is not going to make you sound more feminine or masculine
Best Voice Tool app
I was surprised to see the amount of things this app is helping me with; from voice statistics, room noise, pitch, spectrogram. With all the ads you can feel bit harassed, and it doesn’t allow you to save anything in the cloud, which is a downer if you want to keep track of your progress. It would be amazing if a transcription-voice to text- function was part of it. I love it either way, but be serious, this is a great app!
Ads Inappropriate
The app itself I haven’t been able to try out with my patients because the ads have photos that appear almost pornographic at a glance. No way I can use that in a professional setting! Was hoping to try it before I buy it, and I’m willing to put up with ads for a trial period, but those graphic ads are ridiculous. And I waited a couple weeks and returned to the app, and sadly the same ads were showing.
Experiencing a bug
Love this app but now that I went back to it, it doesn't pic my mic. Instead it seems to be picking up the in app sounds and the mic. If I generate a tone I won't hear anything, but as I go to pitch or volume it will show the spectrogram of that. If I randomly press the buttons in the tone section it will sometimes start working and making the sound audible buy it will stop after a few seconds. Would love if this would be fixed so I can keep using it again. Tried deleting, reinstalling, and using earphones.
Exactly what I was looking for, and more
I used this app for the first time this morning to start vocal feminization training and can already tell this going to be of great use to me.
Random freezes
Used to be great until Jun 2026 update now unusable just random freezes - now a waste of space on my phone

The microphone and tones do not work about half of the time when the app does work, it is very useful to me.

It is now even worse
The app has a long history of convincing people that their voice is feminine when it is not. Voice gender is obviously not determined by pitch, yet the app has repeatedly reinforced that misconception among trans women who are practicing voice training. People generally do not perceive a voice as male or female based solely on pitch; machines and algorithms are far more likely to rely on pitch-based measurements. In a recent update, however, the developer appears to have doubled down on this confusion by lowering the “female pitch” threshold even further. As a result, the app has become even less reliable as an indicator of how voice-classification algorithms would categorize a voice. It’s a pretty hilarious update.

It’s ok
Good but-
It’s good but this app makes me very self conscious and dysphoric, this app has a tool where you can see voice pitches and try and mimic them, but the thing is that whenever I try to mimic them it keeps setting back to a voice HZ that just sounds the exact same as the one I just tried to mimic, and the sad thing is, even in the deepest voice Ī try to do I am always set in the feminine section which jusy triggers my dysphoria more.
Speech app
This is a great app for speech skills and reading loud and clear. Unfortunately, there is a lot of background noise in the free version. I’m not game to pay for the full version in case it is the same.
Wow.
The update was massive. It was already the best tool for voice training. Now it’s in a whole other league.

The app is completely frozen when I open it and nothing fixes it
Great utilities, perfectly adequate interface
Great app for vocal training, especially for transgender people or people looking to shift their resting speaking pitch. The pitch finder and pitch visualizer are great for creating intuitions about how one’s voice should feel given one’s goals. The spectrogram is likewise very useful for feeling out resonance and the analyzer provides great feedback, even though the model it uses to categorize the gender of voices is by necessity a blunt instrument. The feature of this app I think is the most important is the automatic recordings that can (and should) be played back, offering immediate feedback. This utility is all the more useful in the analyzer which allows the recording of much longer vocal samples for training and self-evaluation. Two things I would like to see for this app’s future development are: 1. A larger corpus of stock text for the analyzer; and 2. A more pleasing user interface. While users can input their own text to read for the analyzer, they are better off picking up a book or opening a web browser on another device to read from. A larger set of pre-loaded text would also encourage users to work on their voice generally rather than perfecting it for a passage. As for the interface, the app currently feels blocky and bland, with additional utilities in a separate non-obvious page (“more”) and no way to rearrange or reorder more commonly used tools. I would like to see a more Apple-y interface. The app is usually stable during normal use but I’ve found it can crash or become sluggish when interacting too much with the menus (specifically switching screens and going to and from settings at a moderate rate).
Pitch graph fails to read my voice properly a lot
I was considering purchasing the remove ads option, but the pitch graph just isn’t good enough to justify the $13. It keeps failing to read my voice at all on short phrases, and still manages to not do well with even medium-length ones.

Just doesn’t work
I actually feel sorry for anyone who thinks this is an accurate measure of a fem voice. Resonance is key, and this app will not measure that, you can get 100% in the fem range, but still have a super masculine resonance. This app actually made my cis female friend insecure because it only gave her an 89%, even though her voice is very distinctly female. This app isn’t the answer. Don’t trick yourself into thinking it is; you deserve better. To the devs, unless you add a setting for resonance, this app is dangerously misleading. Dysphoria goes both ways; if someone convinces themselves that their voice sounds fem based on this tool, they’re at risk for a serious mental health crisis when that illusion breaks.

Impressive update in v2. Was having issues with reliability in v1 so was hoping v2 fixed it. I was pleasantly surprised that it not just fixed it but added a ton of new features. Nice work, take my money! :)
very confusing
As a trans guy like most people I was trying to change my voice to have a more masculine appearance as I was trying to do it it was very confusing and it just didn’t make any sense I didn’t know what to do even if I did follow the instructions it was just all confusing please try to make the app make more sense
Good!
Overall good, not sure how accurate the male/female percentage tracker is since it can only measure pitch. I also wish there were other paragraphs for the analysis tool besides just the rainbow passage one, just to mix it up a little. But I think it’s a good app to get a ballpark for where your voice is at.
Review
At first the app seemed quite accurate but days later it showed not to be so accurate compared to 2 other apps I use that show almost the same hz , this app compared to the other ones showed me in the mid 125 hz zone and compared to the other apps was totally out of wack.
This is a great app
I absolutely adore this app, it has helped me so much! The only issue I keep having is that the mic will just not work sometimes.
