Disappointing approach to question resets
PLABable has a good question bank, but I find their approach to resetting questions unnecessarily restrictive and frustrating. Once you’ve attempted questions, you can’t simply reset them and practice again without paying for another extension. For a question bank aimed at medical exam preparation, being able to redo questions is a pretty basic revision feature. Students often want to revisit questions after learning more, but having to pay again just to reset previously attempted questions feels more like a way of generating additional revenue than providing a genuinely useful study experience. The content itself may be useful, but the reset policy is disappointing and makes the platform feel unnecessarily money-focused. I hope PLABable reconsider this and allow users to reset their questions, or at least offer a reasonably priced reset option.
Can the app be given a "rotate screen" option
Love the app It's very detailed. The question bank is very extensive and the mocks really challenge your knowledge However, I wish the app had a rotate screen option.
ENDLESS UPDATE
The app needs to address the issue of constant, disruptive updates. Each time you try to open the downloaded app, an update prompt appears. Attempting to skip the update causes the app to freeze, preventing access to the content you intend to study. Even when you complete the update fully, another update prompt often appears during use, creating a repetitive and frustrating cycle that interrupts productivity.
Topics disappear
I am using iPad and in revision guide sometimes the topics are invisible. Kindly solve this issue it’s really frustrating.

Crashes multiple times a day
The app crashes so many times a day whenever i open the app and click on yes to go where i had left off. It just closes the app and goes back to home screen. My exam is so near and I'm losing out on chunks of time because of this bug. Please fix it ASAP

When I finish answering a set a questions, like pharmacology, the answered ones won’t disappear . It will still be there ,that’s a flaw

PLAB journey can be overwhelming but PLABABLE makes it all worthwhile.This is a fantastic resource and so well structured.The team is super knowledgeable and approachable and extremely helpful.Using PLABABLE gave me the confidence to get back on this journey after 15years gap.I highly recommend them.
New Update makes the email watermark overlap with the text making it difficult to read the GEMS.

App not opening in iOS 12.5.7
It was all working fine and suddenly the app won’t open in my iPad. I have even reset the whole iPad for this app and still it doesn’t work. Could you please check?
Disable screenshots
Stop giving me warnings not to take screenshots and disable the option to take one entirely. If apps like webtoon and whatsapp can do that, so can you. I take screenshots because I forget I’m not supposed to take one, or it happens by mistake. Kindly disable the option to take one. The questions in your q bank are great and I love it. It’s just this screenshot thing that bugs me. Please change it.

Totally worth it, clear concepts, great teachers, amazing app
App is broken
I am giving one star for the IT of the app , its bizarre, the front page for the question category doesn’t reflect the completion of them , it always show that there are more questions to do where there is no more ! I contacted the support and followed this instructions but nothing changed
Very good, BUT !
Thanks for your efforts to make this app. But the app should let users to reset their axcounts for free whenever they want to revise the questions again. While you dont let screenshots, you have to let them practice multiple times during the 5 months of preparation for thei exams. This mindset that doesnt let users to reset is purely bussiness thinking without thinking about users!
Plabable app for IPad too.
Please update the app so we can use in multiscreen on ipad, it’s very difficult to use

Plabable is more than enough to ace Plab 1 exam. I scored 162 only with Plabable
Poor response
I paid for Plabable through my phone but same day it’s self it shows my account is inactive and my account opend only for few minutes I tried to reach customer support through mail but no response for 48 hrs still no response.. I don’t know what to do
No screenshots
It’s all perfect but I keep forgetting not to take screenshots to the notes ☹️ scared that my account will be blocked for good

The best spent money
This was the best decision in my preparation for gmc registration, I prepared with them for plab 1 and got pass with good marks on first attempt; they make the study comfortable and enjoyable, giving you the most relevant information in the best possible way. You see their efforts to make this work. No words to describe how grateful I am.

There should be an option to reset the app.
Simple App but exceptional
The app is very simple and straightforward but is packed with material and useful links.
Mock question list not showing
Since the last update, I can no longer see questions that have been answered in the mocks and I also can not see my score after ending the mock. Please fix as soon as possible as this is really slowing down my revision.
Passed on My First Attempt
I passed PLAB 1 on my first attempt, scoring 164, using PLABABLE as my only preparation resource. What impressed me most was that PLABABLE didn’t just teach me how to answer questions; it built the fundamental knowledge and clinical reasoning needed to approach the exam with confidence. The Gems provided a solid foundation, while the question bank and mocks helped me develop pattern recognition and reinforced key concepts. I also appreciated having everything in one place. Rather than jumping between multiple resources, I focused on mastering PLABABLE, which made my revision much more structured and less overwhelming. A huge thank you to Sze, Adam, and all the doctors behind PLABABLE for creating such an outstanding resource. I couldn’t recommend it more highly to future PLAB candidates.
Bug
Every time I want to use the app, it starts downloading data to be able to work offline without asking me whether I want it or not. And it takes ages to download even 10/500 files it needs. And if I let the app download it after an hour it starts over from the scratch. This app is useless! Another fantastic feature of this app is not letting me skip this ridiculous data downloading. Bravo! You did great! Super annoying time-wasting platform, exactly what we need to prepare for this exam.
DOES NOT LET YOU SCREENSHOT, BLOCKS ACCOUNT
App is useless, took a screenshot to take notes instead of writing, app said “account blocked for 5 mins, anymore screenshot will result in account being permanent blocked”. Dumped the app, opened it on safari, can take screenshots whenever I want. I have MedRivisions as well, didn’t have any issue with them. None of the other learning apps punish users with account blocking for A SCREENSHOT. Poor choice by the devs to restrict users.
Can’t update progress
I can’t update my progress in the application. It always shows that “server is currently unavailable.please try again later”. I also can’t access to “contact us”. It would be better to fix these problems.
Plab 1 success
Passed plab 1 only by studying from plabable. Plabable alone is enough to pass plab 1 with the guidance of excellent mentors. Highly recommend to everyone.

Great resource app, takes too long to load when you open it up
Only reason I’m not giving it 5 stars is because of the long loading time, like I when click on “skip” downloading offline images, it doesn’t skip, just continues unless I go off the app for a while and come back to it through “open app tabs” selection

The app always crashes after the endocrinology category. This has happened on my iPhone, iPad, and even my android phone.

The app automatically returns to the home screen every 2 seconds. The app crashing when not allowing to access via browser on portable devices is a complete disappointment. Please get your app fixed fast.
Updated review for the App
This is an updated review of the App not the Q bank, after they fixed the landscape issue, now I hope they but the comments after the explanation, as sometime people add a number of good comments, in the App the comment is separate not like the website which include the comments
Explanations not readable
Q bank is 5star, but cant give 5 star for app., especially when u dont allow website to open via browser in portable device. Explanation doesnt load completely in ios devices. Empty bullet points, empty tables, empty figures. This is so frustrating. Last update made some few improvements, but its not solved yet.
