Good app
Unusable - stuck on downloading
The app is unusable because it forces me to download offline content before I can open it. This is unnecessary, as every hospital has Wi-Fi. Offline downloads should be optional or happen in the background. Instead, the app gets stuck on the download screen for hours, making it impossible to access any features. Please fix this so it can be used without mandatory downloads.
Excellent for all HCPs
Highly recommended for all HCPs working in both pre-hospital and primary / secondary care.
issue regarding using in ipad
the app is very good and work properly on iphone but in ipad not working my ipad 11 pro ios 15 qctually when i open the app just white window was opened and i tried to delete and reinstall the app but no benifit thank you.

New version not fit for purpose
Had paid for subscription and then without warning the app has changed so not able to filter by topic, question type or to use it offline (all of which were the reasons I had purchased it)
Wonderful content
The content in BMJ Best Practice is one of the best in terms of scope, detail, and organization. The App may be further optimized although I do understand that the iPhone screen is not enough real estate.
No app access via institution
I have access to the BMJ best practice via my institution and have no issue logging in on the website to access content. This used to be the case on the app as we, however, I’m not sure what changed but for the past year or so there has been no option to log in via an institution, only by typing in your personal login details. I have tried the details I use to access my institution but they are always rejected. I have not been able to find any workaround other than going to a browser to access it but this is not nearly as mobile friendly as the app and defeats the purpose of it being ready at hand! Please can you advise on a workaround, or resolve the issue.
App always logout
This app keeps logout itself once I closed it and each time when I open the app, need to download the contents again. Not sure why despite good internet connection. Hopefully dev can take a look. Thanks.
Great medical educational app
I am a general practitioner, and I find this app to be fantastic. It is very concise, gets to the point succinctly and in easy-to-understand sections, and is regularly updated. It’s not too complex and can be used by various healthcare professionals.

This is helpful when you want to take a history, examine a patient on their first presentation, and so much more. I love using this in my acute medicine setting.

Not sure yet where the charging element comes in? Have found lots on here for free. The only thing stopping this being a 5 star review is the ability to share and bookmark favourites and references. Would be pretty much perfect if this was added.

O site ainda tem uma melhor navegabilidade, acho o app um tanto travadão. As vezes mesmo pelo tablet prefiro entrar pelo navegador no site do BMJ do que pelo app. A comodidade e organização do aplicativo são excelentes, mas a leitura em si de algum tópico eu prefiro pelo site, que é mais fluido e agradável. Sugestões: - Dar a possibilidade de exportar o artigo em PDF tal como é possível no site - Ter um menu de navegação, como se fosse um sumário (assim como já tem!) só que acompanhando a leitura, não apenas fixo em uma página (ou seja, de qualquer parte do texto que estiver ter acesso a esse sumário interagi o sem ter que voltar para a página inicial! Isso é presente no site e não tem no app!) - Os ícones na barra inferior podem ser melhorados. No iPhone, fica tudo muito junto, meio poluído visualmente. - Opção de fazer marcações no texto (acho que aí já é sonhar demais! Ahhah mas seria um super diferencial, nenhum outro faz isso!) - Há um problema quando selecionamos algum texto. Passo de página e a caixa de seleção fica lá flutuando no nada. Cabe rever esse bug! BMJ é uma fonte esperacular e já me ajudou muito na prática e estudo médico. Espero uma evolução cada vez maior!

Good app but doesn’t background upgrade
Incredibly frustrating that almost every time I open the app it needs to download an update. Why can’t it do background updates, or use mobile data rather than re-downloading on each launch? Makes it impossible to use for quick reference unfortunately.

On loading the app, it automatically sets itself to portrait mode, making it less convenient for landscape mode users.

It’s Anaesthesia!
Great, bar a few irritating influences from across the pond (it’s Anaesthesia not Anaesthesiology!) and many of the calculators default to mmHg rather than kPa for gas equations which make them fiddly to use. Otherwise, fab!

Can’t download content in app
I have just got an issue when I re-installed this app. I couldn’t downloaded the content in app after I had updated to iOS 13. Therefore, I can’t use any features in app. Please optimize this app for lastest iOS or fix this bug as soon as possible.

Great content, clunky to use
Fantastic and useful content, presented well and clearly. Unfortunately, the app format can be annoying to use - I am frequently prompted to re-download the whole database (rather than individual conditions with updates). The download is huge and frequently doesn’t work over wifi.

Excellent but…how do I pay??
Nothing short of excellent. However, my trial has ended but I cannot find the option to pay and upgrade in the app. It’s not anywhere!
No openAthens log in option
An openAthens user via the rcpsg. Disappointed there is no openAthens log in. Therefore no access to the app
Good for fast consultation
However, I got some problems: 1. The topics separated by tabs is great for fast consultation however when we need to do a whole-text read it gets quite annoying. It would be good to have a buttom to display all tabs in a single page so we can scroll the text instead of simply swipe. 2. The load could be faster. 3. There is no search for the calculators. Also, a "favorite" buttom would be nice to have so we can access our most-used calculators faster. Besides that, the app is quite functional!
