I played for a week and out of no where my account was banned. No reason why just banned.
Suggestion for Hero class
Assassin hero class: Ripper Core passive skill: Master of arms 1/7 = Ripper as a weapons expert has two sets of skills by equipping either “shuriken stars” which benefits from ranged damage bonus and skill damage versus “kusarigama” (chain sickle) for mid range which benefits from melee damage and auto attack damage. When using shurikens, ripper’s LEFT skill tree branch becomes active and when using kusarigama, ripper’s RIGHT skill tree branch becomes active. 4/7: Gains flat rate of 40% skill crit chance when using either of ripper’s weapons. Doing crit damage grants ignore def and anti flee 7/7: Allows ripper to equip both shuriken stars and kusarigama by occupying offhand slot. This activates both skill tree and allowing ripper to use all skills at the same time and gaining both ranged, melee, aa, skill dmg, and flat 80% skill crit chance. This includes enchants from arch & melee. Please let me know what you think. I believe I speak for everyone when I say that an assassin hero class is what a lot of people are waiting for, just thought I’d put my suggestion to hopefully speed things up.
Stuck after making a character at very first loading screen
I also have a character on my account from playing previously. So I downloaded the game then to continue had to download 2 gigs. Then gave me another 1.5 gig delete files warning can’t continue until I do.. so I go delete other files to make space.. come back then it asks if I want to play or play while downloading in the background. I’ve tried both but once I get past choosing my character or creating a character I get stuck forever at the very first loading screen.. the one that says level 1-10 if I create a new character or the one with their artwork if I choose to play my main character from the past. Either way I can sit here for over 30 minutes and just watch it spell out loading over and over which means at least it’s not freezing the client but either way it’s not getting anywhere.. sorry for such a low rating but if I can finally play again or hear from developers or something I will definitely increase it.
Honest Review. Long time Ragnarok RO player.
I played Ragnarok RO since the early 2000’s and this mobile game is very similar to the experience there, with some minor details missing; like the merchant. The game is okay, but there’s a ton of self-play element and often feels the user isn’t even playing the game. It’s not super-saturated in micro transactions, but as any mobile game they’re overpriced and not worth getting. I did pay for premium however and noticed once you unlock a few things on your main character that are premium from the monthly, or even paid for on the store for a few USD, you cannot share them to your alternative characters, or re-buy those cheap one-offs on their store for the secondary character. I find this odd that a company would block their own ability to monetize a system. Doesn’t seem very well thought-out. My only other erk is that why does the archer shooting a Yoyo sound like someone slapping a child? If you played this game in public with the sound on, you may get weird looks…

A nostalgic trip and fall.
The game really brings back memories of playing this with friends as one of my first MMO’s on PC. I started Ragnarok M in 2019 and bounced off until last week. The amount of stuff added is overwhelming and now suffers from samey mobile game vibes and aesthetics. Still, what you get for free is pretty great and hard to complain about. All the core elements of RO are there and will likely satisfy someone looking to capture a small simulacrum of the old days. One major issue I have with the game is that on iPhones without a home button, the little bar at the bottom of the screen blocks text from NPC’s when it’s 3 lines long of dialogue. I removed a star for this in and of itself as that’s inexcusable HUD design in 2023.
Was good but now too complicated
I played this since launch in 2019. It was hard to keep up and they just keep adding more and more systems without retiring older ones. Everything stayed relevant, which is a bad thing. Too much to keep up with so I stopped playing. Was fun while it lasted.

It’s pretty ironic but it seems like the consensus is you would likely make more $$$ (the only language Gravity speaks) with less p2w mechanics. Monetize cosmetics and have a monthly battle pass with 2-3 tiers max. Seems like you’d retain more players, the IP could revive and bring back a lot of players. People are sick of this.
Fantastic game BUT…
The game is wonderful, the style of the game, the classes, the abilities, the dungeons etc. my biggest gripes however is a few things. 1. At some point it becomes challenging to level fast. You will find yourself leveling REALLY slow once you get to level 120-130ish. Now there are a lot of things to do but it is annoying specially since you want to get to max level or close to it. Yes the game is a little pay to win, or I would say pay to progress fast. At some point you can farm for Zeny and get top tier gear so most of the pay to win aspect is to get things faster which isn’t that big of a deal. On a lighter side The costumes are gorgeous and I love my chronomancer, and I love the events that they have, they are fun. But here is my next gripe…because either the game ip is shared or the game company is trying to make multiple games, it feels like there is less focus on developing this game and marketing it. Like it is gone and done. There are less players on the game, most players finished the entire game and now are pvping but many players leaving. Good luck on leveling with anyone, no one is online leveling and if they are it’s an alt and they prob wont team up or party up with you. Dungeons can be soloed so don’t expect to play with anyone leveling up. If the game was available on steam and some marketing it could be easily revived.

Im sorry but you guys are making too many games, Hear me out, Can you guys just delete all ur games except your most popular one? All of your games are so creative and I was wondering if you guys could make an sao type of game with 100 floors and all the players have to beat it together in the same server. A lot of ragnarok origins features are also featured in sao. There are not a lot of MOBILE sao games out so I think you guys would do phenomenal, just have different weapon types,plenty of customization,vast taking floors and I think you guys would do great.

I have been playing for so long and now it is time to quit this game. The game demanding you to put real money in you effort without real money i mean 1000$-2000$ i am talking about doesnt make you better off anything. Like a betting in a casino. I’ve been playing Ragnarok for PC since 2003, and the company’s neglect is nothing new. No real updates, developers don’t care about player feedback, and let’s be honest — Ragnarok has always been a full-on gacha. They push you to spend tons of money just to stay competitive. Every year there’s a “new” Ragnarok, but it’s always the same team behind it. The president of Gravity is useless — they’ve ruined the PC game over the years and are now destroying the mobile versions with the same greedy mindset. Goodbye, Gravity.

Cute, fun but woah to the racism
I’ve had a good time playing it, I joined hoping to bolster my skills and comprehension of mmo systems but it’s generally been a fun experience on its own. Admittedly the localization is awful, like really awful, and it’s pretty simplistic/corny regardless but you can tell there’s a lot of love from a handful of the devs thrown into this. The custom npc animations especially charmed me and all of the animations and art everywhere was really cute to see. Less p2w and heavy paywall on cosmetics than I expected. But I also found pretty quickly the racism in this one is not tame (first ragnarok game so I’ve no idea if that’s a trend in these. I guess you kinda expect to see some in most older-smaller mmos, especially when the character creator doesn’t offer different skin tones but holy cow lol, I was not expecting a clown Afro black midget with donut lips and a caveman club caricature. If not for that lump of things, me and my wallet would be able to give you a more invested review but that took me out entirely. Cute otherwise though, extra points deducted for lack of gay marriage also, should’ve stuck to the bit for the amount of gay jokes it has.

When there system charge you double by error. And you ask refund for the extra purchase. Their system will deduct double amout of big cat coin in game. In other words. U are forced to pay double for something you don't want. And the service team will just tell you because they not recommend any refund.

Excelente, está absolutamente todo. Lo que falta lo van a ir sacando. Todo es excelente excepto estas cosas: 1_ Gravity lanza el juego en Latinoamérica y aún no aprende a traducir al Español. 2_ Los cosméticos premium pueden ser visualmente agresivos. 3_ Posee Pay to Fast, quizás a un nivel algo alarmante ya que se puede comprar la moneda del juego pagando. Aún así, es muy caro, no cualquiera lo paga. Más allá de esto, es totalmente recomendable, es un must have si jugaste y amaste RO. Cualquier cosa, mi nombre en el juego es Skywoh.
Último update muito crash no iPad !
Só jogo com iPad, já jogo há cinco anos….esse último update tá péssimo, principalmente na cidade nova…jogo fecha muito! Eu já saí de um iPad 7th pro 9th só por causa do Ragnarok mas parece que os devs não ligam muito pra iOS … sei que é reclamar a toa, os devs não ligam pra Apple …:(

Amo esse jogo desde a adolescência e estou jogando a uns 3 anos e do nada parou de entrar na minha conta pelo Facebook, acho que vou desistir de jogar pq na minha conta tinha a muito avanço e eu não vou começar de novo, vou esperar mais uns dias se não entrar eu volto aqui pra dar uma estrela, grato!

This is my first mmo. For nostalgia, the graphics have been updated, many new classes and systems have been added. There are of course minor glitches that will be fixed over time. The limited time limit and the meager drop percentage - well, you can fix it with a donation. But not here. The devs of the game don’t care about the players
For 6 years of playing this game and being in multiple discussions with moderators and giving mine and hundreds of other players feedbacks it seems that the game creators don’t care for their players. They don’t care to fix bugs. They don’t care to fix anything that players have brought up is an issue. Don’t waste your time or money on this game the creators only put out things to get your money and nothing to make the game enjoyable for its players.
Thanatos Tower
For as hard as that instance is and as much stuff you have to go through sometimes to even get a party is not worth it and extremely disheartening. Get handed a bunch of runes. I’m beginning to see that thanatos tower is necessary for runes so I’d rather just quit now n stop supporting this game. I had a great time and experience until I had the displeasure of experiencing that. If I stay I will never do that dumb instance ever again, not supporting anymore, and I’m fine with being left behind in power because of it. Immediately took the wind from my sails. Seems to be the only good way to get runes so since I’m not doing that anymore, keeping up is pointless

Bad
The game is ver bad and controls, the enemy stop your movement and skill animation. Entering lvl 30 instances with character lvl 50 and enemy kill you, that shows the devs haven’t bothered to test the game. I give it 0 stars.
Skin tone
As a poc it’s extremely upsetting to see such a fun game have only 1 skin tone option waste of potential

I have been playing Ragnarok a lot in 00s. It was my first and my favorite MMORPG. Developers for this mobile version kept the soul of original and add a lot of good things. Redid all monsters in 3d and all locations, but it still looks and fills the same. You can still play without any gacha. Just need to grind a little bit. Lvl up is quicker but there is a lot of things to do. And PvP is still fun if you lvl up till max. But only problem right now is that the NA1 server at list keeps connections drop. Sometimes so often it can be frustrating, you barely can play. But they included, what we called bot back then, in the game and made it part of the game and it works grate.
