Prestations Bike Pass peu claires
Le forfait Bike Pass n'indique pas clairement qu'on ne peut pas utiliser les remontées mécaniques dans le sens de la descente...donc inutile si vous avez un vélo électrique ou faites de la randonnée et voulez monter et descendre ! Il faut le préciser plus clairement dans l'application car évidemment il est impossible de se faire rembourser l'abonnement une fois l'erreur rencontrée ! Pas très correct tout ça !
Aktuelle Updates zu den Liften
Die App ist gut für aktuelle Updates zu den Liften und Bahnen, vor allem am Morgen wenn man auf die Piste möchte. Die Bahnbetreiber geben sich Mühe den Status aktuell zu halten und Benachrichtigen z.B. bei Störungen.
Bugs
Gute Idee, schlechte Umsetzung. Voll mit Bugs, langsam, keine Integrationen (bspw Swiss Pass), UX nicht ideal. Sollte man neu bauen
Falsche Öffnungszeiten
Leider kann man sich auf die Öffnungszeiten der Bergrestaurants nicht verlassen. Hermetje hat schon seit 17.8. zu.

It had some teething problems with QR CODE but they are/have resolved it.
Mobile tickets suck
Would give 0 stars if I could. Purchased mobile ticket to beat the lines, wouldn’t activate on the day and had to line up to get a normal ticket. Don’t waste your time.
QR-Tickets
Anders als bei vielen anderen Apps wird der Bildschirm bei öffnen der gekauften QR Code Ticket nicht automatisch aufgehellt, was dazu führt, das mehrere Leser der Bergbahnen Probleme damit haben, das Ticket zu lesen. Man muss dann umständlich die Bildschirme Helligkeit von Hand erhöhen. Hier gibt es potential für Verbesserung Ansonsten finde ich die App super

Wie schon bei früheren Versionen erwähnt, das Buchen eines Parkplatzes im Matterhorn Terminal ist meiner Meinung nach ein Muss. Bitte ergänzt die Zahlungsmethoden noch mit Apple Pay!
Ski pass issues
Loaded this app purely for the ski pass function. Other stuff may be very good. My wife’s android was very poor needing removing from the pocket and gloves of every lift - grim. My iPhone worked better but failed after using it on the mountain to pay for drinks. Again needing the pass pausing and activating a couple of times before I could navigate the gate. We queued 20 mins to swap app certificate for the regular card. Works perfectly.
Why 2 fingers are required to use the map!
Please remove the initial lock of the panorama map when it opens. The app is often used on the slopes and lifts and people do not have a spare hand to use TWO FINGERS to move the map!

Good idea but unstable
The app feels laggy and unstable while being used. Birthdates are not correctly taken in account, the days gets selected differently while booking, not a trustworthy feeling for paying hundreds of CHF ski passes

Gute App
Diese App ist sehr gut da sie einem die aktuellen Events, Ereignisse, offene Anlagen, Pisten und Restaurants, Lawinengefahr und Wetter anzeigt. Dies klappt auch immer sehr gut dennoch sind einige Sachen noch auf Englisch, trotz das der Rest auf Deutsch ist, wie zum Beispiel die Lawinenstufe 1. Trotzdem sehr Empfehlenswert!
Pas d’actualisation en temps réel
La carte des installations et pistes en temps réel est bien faite, mais elle ne s’actualise pas. Il faut toujours tuer et redémarrer l‘app. En plus, la fonction „toucher“ une installation pour des détails ne fonctionne souvent pas.
Karte
Die App wäre eigentlich ganz ok. Aber die Karte ist ein Graus seit es die App gibt. Karte verschieben geht seeehhhhr mühsam obwohl ich ein iPhone 15 Pro habe. Jede andere Karte lässt sich flüssiger verschieben. Das kann definitiv besser gelöst werden.

This is fantastic little app to guide you through your stay at Zamatt. The details are superb, and live cam views are a brilliant touch that I keep going back to even once I’m home

Neues Login und sehr schlechtes UX
Ich wollte nur einen Skipass auf den Swisspass laden. Auf der Website geht es nicht, man soll „die App“ nutzen. Dass die App Matterhorn heisst steht nirgendwo. Ein neues Login wird benötigt, wäre ja zu einfach dasselbe wie auf der Website zu haben. Der Shop ist schlecht designed mit den Eingabefelder und der Tastatur welche absolut oversized ist und nicht meinen Settings entspricht. Der Kauf und die Swisspass Erfassung hat immerhin anscheinend geklappt. Hoffentlich komme ich durch die Drehtüren ich traue dem aktuell gar nicht.
Noch nicht optimal…
Hallo liebe Designer der Page Leider nicht eine optimale Navigation. Lasst den Nutzer am Anfang einfach entscheiden was er möchte. 4 mal drücken bis die Pistenübersicht kommt ist nicht gerado optimal. Manchmal ist weniger mehr. Viele Grüsse aus der Zentralschweiz. Wir sind 5 Mal im Jahr für 5 bis 7 Tage in Zermatt. 3 mal Skifahren und zwei mal Wandern. Sind heute soeben wieder Zuhause angekommen nach 5 Tagen bei Euch oben. Hoffen dass Ihr noch ein bischen Schnee bekommt. Ist ja im Moment mager….

Pas assez d info, pas d info sur le possibilité de faire des tours en calèche/pas d horaire/pas de prix. Météo pas précise. Dans le filtre, pas d indication précise sur les prix dans les restaurants ou bar. Donc pas complet. Hotel, pas d info sur les piscines couvertes chauffées (température de l eau, possibilités d entrée/limitée payante pour des clients hors de l hôtel ? …
Beschränkte Wegbeschreibungen der Talstationen
Naja es wird bei den Wanderwegen nicht beschrieben an welche Talstation man gehen muss. Auf der Karte wurde es auch nicht angezeigt. Bei uns war es die 5-Seen Wanderung, wo der Startpunkt beschrieben wird aber nicht erklärt wird wie man dort hin kommt. Haben es dann an der falschen Talstation gemerkt. Könnte man leicht bei der Wegbeschreibung ergänzen. Ist ja nicht so, dass Zermatt nur eine Talstation hat.

Bought shuttle tasch-zermatt and zermatt-klein matterhorn on this app for 5. QRs can’t all be seen (i see 1.5 QRs as I can’t scroll) and had to beg staff to see that I bought 5x Adults. What’s the point of this app? Might as well buy hard copy tickets. Train staff asked me to buy new tickets. Do they think cash comes from heaven? Thanks.

Poor to dreadful
We had a few days in Zermatt. The app isn’t very helpful. It didn’t simplify the complexity of buying lift tickets and doesn’t even show all the tickets on sale. It just focuses on a few packages. If it’s intention is to help visitors it’s a total failure.
Won’t recognise my Swiss pass number.

Do NOT buy the International ski pass
Do NOT buy the International ski pass, because the info if the sector is open on the App should be considered as fake news. Waste of money. Just buy a one day pass if you are standing at the border. Also do NOT forget your passport as EU drivers license will not be accepted on your way back to Switzerland. If so you’re required to get someone to pick up your passport at the hotel.
You can do better
Unfortunately the Zermatt app needs to compare itself vs North American competitors. Having been to Whistler for the last 4 years as well as Snowmass I appreciate Zermatt as a skiing town but the app is second rate. Lots of ways to improve including 1. base snow, wind and temperatures on specific runs/mountains; 2. recommended runs for the day for beginners, intermediated and advanced; 3. Separate Weather forecasts for village, lower and upper mountain; 4. personal ski run tracking. World class skiing with an app that does not do it justice.

It’s not easy to quickly find the live mountain information and which lifts and pistes are open, or closed.
