What people like
- Very cheap one-time price for full features
- Developer is responsive and helpful with emails
- Works surprisingly well on a mobile phone
- Pitch shift helps match your singing range
What they complain about
- Free version won't let you save files
- Paid users often get only short clips
- Export button sometimes doesn't work at all
- App crashes or freezes when adding files
Highly recommend
If you are looking for a way to make instrumental tracks, I highly recommend this app. It’s just a ONE time charge of less than $3 to be able to make instrumentals and save the tracks to your phone. Some songs turn out better than others, but this app is amazing. Especially considering the price! AND the developer is responsive to emails if you have an issue. Highly recommend.
No more exporting
The app worked well until recently. Seems you can split the vocals and music, but then you can’t export it out of the app. What’s the point?
Bien
Franchement je m’attendais pas a sa c’est vraiment bien mais peut mieu faire c’est pas parfait sinon c’est bien
Problem with export
Export button not working now!
Seulement une chanson dans la bibliothèque !
La bibliothèque ne se synchronise pas Je ne peux pas télécharger de morceaux !
App keeps getting better!
Thanks for all the updates. The pitch shift is especially great when a song needs to be adjusted to the user’s singing range. I would give this app 10 stars if I could **********😀
Can’t save!!
In free version you can not save anything!!!
Great for making rehearsal tracks
I used this app to make recordings to practice with through Covid when I could’ve work with my accompaniment. It does a very nice job but often will leave a few notes or hard consonants in the track. I have found running the piece through a second time can diminish this but will also degrade the quality of the track. It is an amazing too for the price!
Ugh
I need to pay to share, completed audio, etc Why is it unfair
Meh
I used this on a German lieder after I couldn’t find an accompaniment track for rehearsal. The app leaves dregs of the vocals on the track that sound squeaky and tinny. Oh well. That’s $3 I won’t get back.
Does the job flawlessly every time
Big pros to the developers of this app,I seen someone using it in a video on YouTube one day and was Iike hey! could this be the cure! This app is a hidden gem!
Worthless
If I could put negative stars I would you can’t do anything it’s just a proven screen total waste of time
Genuinely impressed
I was skeptical while downloading the app, but i had a sudden impulse to try and hear instrumentals of some of my favorites songs, which led me finding this app. The UI is straightforward and simple to navigate. I was surprised how accurate it can filter out the vocals with the songs i would input and vice versa. Overall pretty good app to use to hear some of your favorite songs, although I wish I can change the names of .m4a files, since I tried out so many songs i lost track of which file is which.
Big Lie
I bought it for $3 and backing instrumental saved. But it is not full length extract but one third of the song. So it is useless for me who need to sing karaoke. Big lie!
Potential but.....
Ok so this app has great potential but I really can’t see the point of having an app that says it splits vocals and audio but then only lets you take the first minute and a half of the song?? Why not the whole song? To me that’s stupid and a waste of time
Impressive
This is exactly what I was looking for. Even though there is a very faint subtlety of instrumental in the vocals and vocals in the instrumentals, it’s sooo faint and barely noticeable. For being as easy and simple (and fast) to process, it’s awesome. Download it and test it out for free. And if you dig the results, it only costs a couple bucks to unlock all features.
Hdjdjs
It’s lagging a lot
Great app
Only one question? When I try to export (purchased version) it only saves 1:30. Why is this?
Started off great
Ok so for my first to uploads it was amazing. Sure, you could hear muffled voices at a few parts but not too much. However, once I uploaded my third file it just wouldn’t play. I tried exiting out of the app, there aren’t any new updates, it just wouldn’t work. There wasn’t even anything different about that file. I also payed the $2.99
It’s great but
I want to use this app with Apple Music not just buying my music
Amazing
I tried several apps online and tried on some expensive software to make some karaoke. This is the best you can buy. The author is a genius and I think the karaoke is at least 90% quality as the original. Please support this guy and you won’t be disappointed. Thanks for the amazing work.
Horrible.
You have to pay for this app, and also the vocals sometimes still are there. There is only a 1min limit to the songs you put on.
Works Well
This app helped me to remove vocals to record a song for a birthday celebration. While you could still hear a bit of a whistle tune during some parts of the song, overall I would say it was worth it to pay for.
I’ve only got 1:30 of the song I wanted extracted ! The song is over 3 min
Is over 3 min long ! Where is the remainder of the song & it’s paid for !
The app
The vocals and instrumental tracks needs to be clean
Very good app
This app works well, and the maker has been very responsive and helpful when I had questions. While generally the instructions are clear and easy to follow, the upgrade instructions could be a bit clearer. Anyway I am happy with the app, and with the fact that the maker cares about his customers.
broken
whenever i add a file it just freezes
It’s a very nice app but
After purchasing the 2.99, I was supposed to be able to save the full length music to my phone. Not only is it only saved into the internal folder of the app with no option to download, the export button is permanently grayed out. Then I realized this app cannot work on any music bought from the iTunes store, which is basically my entire music library.
It doesn’t even work
I opened it up, and attempted to add a song from files. It wouldn’t let me. So, I thought I’d try to play it from iTunes, it said I didn’t have any songs at all. I don’t know if this is a bug or not, but this app is completely worthless for the time being.
Decent
It’s decent - however, for some songs when removing the vocals, the instruments get somewhat distorted and inconsistent. It also removes the quality of some of the instruments that are in the same tonal frequency as the voice itself. Decent - could be great.
LOL
hold me like a microphone by Ayesha Erotica with vocals extracted sounds hilarious
Crashes every time
As soon as I hit the button to extract, it crashes. Everytime.
Good, but could be improved
It cost me $2.99 to buy the app. Without a purchase you cannot save any files and you can only sample 1:30 of your song. The extracting algorithm is far from perfect, maybe half of the lyrics sound distorted. The screen resolution of this app is really small for my iPad. With all this in mind I’m still happy with my purchase because it is so easy to use and there is a lot of things you can do with a tool like this. I would give 5 stars if they could increase the quality of the vocals.
great!!!
I’ve been trying to find a backing track in a specific key for over a year. I’ve tried many apps and this is honestly the only one that works. Thank you!!!!!
Can Y’all team up with a website
Can Y’all team up with a website so you can make the instrumentals and Acapellas sound official? Website name I want y’all to try to team up with: X-Minus.Pro! :)
Not helpful to remove the vocal
Not helpful to remove the vocal
Great but...
Its great and all, but it doesn't seem to work on all songs. I want to do Offended by Eminem. I tried to, the good things when I removed the vocals was the that the Bass still kicks in well. Not all but some instruments are heard a bit clearly. The downside is that although the vocals are removed completely, (kinda) it always makes the some of the instruments sound a bit or really faded. Some parts when the drums go away when its supposed to kick in. But other than that its a good app. Maybe you can fix this problem. I won't be too rough so I will give 4 stars
Can’t purchase the app
I can’t purchase the app! Can you please give advice
Best program in this category
This program is most professional in vocals and music remover
Quality
In my opinion, it lowers the volume where vocals would be.
FANTASTIC
This app is one of the Best apps around for making custom Karaoke Songs, its not perfect but its pretty damn close! Id recommend for karaoke enthusiasts! Well done!
Great
This app is really great. Would there be a way for backround vocals to be added to a backing track in the future.
Amazing
This is one of my all time fav apps -- its not 100% perfect but id say a solid 97%--- but its light years better than any other app that attempts the same thing ... thanks !
Can’t try it first
I couldn’t even get to hear the sample. I’m not spending hard to come by funds these days if I can’t even test it to see how it sounds.
Love it!
Love this app, use it very frequently however, one day do you think we could get an update that lets us alter the level of extraction/removal? Altogether great app!
Pretty good!
Even though the quality may be reduced, its still very very good considering its from a phone. Works better than audacity. One downside is that im limited to 1:29 for some reason
