Best App & Fitness Coach!
I have been using Alex’s fitness program since 2017 and have never left! His wide variety of plans, detailed coaching and weekly calls are a game changer! Highly recommend this to everyone, seasoned or just getting started!
Needs updating
Bought and used this app 5 years ago and bought it again this year. The exercises are mostly the same- using old stuff and for example you can’t enter how many reps you achieved so can’t properly track. Yes he may of added stuff like yoga etc but the gym stuff is dated and old hat- nothing new. The nutritional info is the same. He really hasn’t invested much into it- perhaps spending more time chasing trending the boards dream. Very disappointing
Helpful app, but…
on the timer, I would like to have the option of a warm up time period to get into position for the first activity. Also, it would be helpful to be able to view the timer in landscape as well as portrait.
The app is pretty unstable on IPhone
There have been several days that the app blocks on the afternoon/evenings while it works fine on the early mornings. It is infuriating being ready for your workout, having commuted to a scheduled routine and being stopped by an app that is not well developed.
Bugs
I’ve tried 3x to complete the first times fitness test in Homefit1 program only to not be able to stop the timer when completed. All actions on page are unresponsive as the timer continues to run so I have to force quit the app. I can’t see a way to add my time manually so not able to capture my benchmark.
Beginner Here
I am just starting my journey into physical fitness and did a lot of research looking for just the right app. Thankfully I discovered this one. I’m most impressed with the workout videos. They are not animated, they are not abbreviated, etc. They are complete workouts featuring an encouraging trainer and easy to follow instructions. And they are downloadable for offline use! I rarely pay for app subscriptions but this one is worth it.

Great app, could use some improvements over time
Love using this app to stay motivated in my fitness journey. I am sure it does generate a nice revenue for the team :-), so it would be great to see some of that being invested back into improvements over time. Things like: - Allowing you to continue a workout if you accidentally exit - Proposing alternative exercises (lack right equipment, or injuries prevent you from doing that exercise) - Always bringing the last weight lifted as a starting point (spotty right now, sometimes it does sometimes not) or a suggestion based on the weight you have used in other exercises - Perhaps adding some voice overs for motivation and guidance if you don’t want to be looking at your phone all the time
Very disappointed on the app
I really liked Alex’s youtube videos so I decided to purchase the app. After two months using it I’ve seen several critical issues and total lack of technical support. Mostly the “couch mode” which should play videos to guide the user on how to perform the different workouts does not work. I constantly get the error message “video not available”. Also, the records of the progress in the fitness program (how many and what workouts have been completed) is constantly reset so you find no history at all…. It’s really a shame that a good couch embarks into something like #crockfit without the proper support. How can I get my money back?
Life changing
The best decision i made in 2023 ❤️
Lack of IT support - constant IT problems
No IT assistance. I paid for a training and few weeks later couldn’t use the app anymore as the app was “syncing my data” for days.. unable to contact anybody, think I lost my money
Great motivation
I like the all and the exercises very much. The plans are motivating and doable. Tough but worth to go thrue. Some of the functions could be done better but the developers are going to improve it constantly. I can recommend the Homefit workouts from heart, I did it now for 6 month and the result is awesome.
Repetitive
I thought I’d give this plan a go after following YouTube channels with Alex in them. Thankfully he talks much less in the app than on the YouTube channel. Pretty much every workout day starts with exactly the same warm up, be prepared to tire of this by day 3. The exercises are also repetitive, lots of jumping and throwing yourself all over the place. This plan really is for those who wish to get as skinny as possible. If your trying to cut this plan isn’t for you, your muscles are not getting the workout they need during this plan. It’s about loosing all body fat at the expense of mass. Believe me I’m now paying the price. The plan includes no stretching etc either. Great for women who wish to slim down catastrophic for the make physique well unless your trying to look like a half starved 12 year old.
Resistant band review
I started my fitness journey about a month before I found alexs’ app. I was following along with videos on YouTube and was getting good results. Once I found the app and subscribed for his 12 week R-band workout I was seeing results extremely fast and couldn’t be more happier with stepping into a scale. This plan is not only helping me lose weight but build muscle too. I can see changes every Day in my tone. I highly recommend buying yourself a set of Resistant bands and giving this program a try
Slightly confusing UI
Overall the workouts are great - for a 20-30 minute workout it leaves you exhausted. Would not recommend for a beginner due to how intense the home fit is (it’s deceptive). The UI takes some getting used to. I didn’t understand the start and stop for the initial fitness test and there’s no way to delete it so I’m stuck with an unrealistic goal I’ll never meet. A countdown before activists would help since I’m using my phone to do the workout and need a few seconds to set it down or check what the next thing is. A better ability to skip whole circuits or the warmup would be nice, rather than just letting the clock run out or having to skip 10 different exercises individually.
Life changing at 50
This app and Alex are amazing. I started the app because of Covid and two years later, I’ve cancelled my gym membership and have see amazing results! I’m am shocked by my results. Even in my 30s I didn’t ever see results like this. I wish I had #CrockFit in my 30s! #CrockFit’r forever.
Leve it!
For the first time, I’m seeing big results! I would just love to have it on my watch, so i can keep on the pace better, without stopping to watch the phone and so…
Great app to start a fitness journey!!!
Love this app, and it’s so easy to use shows you videos if you don’t know how to!!! Highly recommend this app!!! 💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼
Love it!
I love this App!! I have lost 13 lbs just “shaping “ my body! ♥️
Crock
This guy is the man. Love your work Alex keep it up.
🧐
Very confusing to use. Why don’t you play demo videos along with the timers. Then i can simply follow your demo rather than back and forth to press start or so
