I go to login in, choose the account that I've tried logging into, select persona (console that I play on) and it gives me a green banner reading "Persona Selected : [gamertag]" and at the bottom it reads "Not Available" You Are Logged Out With a button to select "Okay"
GREAT IMPROVEMENT
I’m surprised this app is only rated 2.1 stars. I’ve used the Madden Companion App on and off since around 2022, and the improvements in 2026 are huge. It’s smoother, more useful, and overall much better than it used to be. My only complaint is having to open every pack individually when you have a lot saved up. Other than that, I’m impressed. Easy 4.9/5 for me
Works sometimes, but buggy
It was working fine for awhile, now it’s updated to Madden 27 I can’t use it for Madden 26…
Where is 27?
It’s really confusing how EA cannot compete with SDS when it comes to their game and companion app. The show is years ahead. It’s quite disappointing to be honest.

Great app. Does have its issues but love the fact that they are working on it. Wish it was out for Madden 27 on the day it comes out

So instead of just making a separate app, they forced the madden26 companion to be for madden27 so its now useless to all those people? What a stupid decision

could be better they need to add more functions, like being able to lock and unlock players in your binder.. also you should be able to look at the store and buy backs from the app
Its okay, if you can sign in
I use this mostly to export data as I am a stats nerd. This ability is directly tied to me and my many friend’s decisions to buy this game and spend money on EA. If this app worked better and the team that works on this app had more resources I would possible spend even more money and time on this game!

I mean, it’s a good app for madden but, almost every single time you don’t run it for around 2-3 days, it makes you log in again so I would fix that to be honest, but overall a good app for simming when you can’t in franchise and buying and opening packs in ultimate team. I only use it for franchise in my opinion.
Can’t even log in.
Why make players create an EA account on top of their Xbox account if they can’t login or link them properly? Utter garbage but hey at least the points store is working.

It had potential but typical EA.
I’ve always thought this app had potential but instead of just fixing stuff year to year and making it better, they remove certain features to add them as new in an upcoming year or just remove them. Typical EA bs as always!
Needs more things to do
I think the whole concept is cool, being able to work on your Madden account from your phone is cool, but all we can do right now is just put things in sets, buy things, and sell things on the auction house. There’s a lot more we should be able to do. Some examples are being able to quick sell players, upgrade them, and being able to buy packs. Not being able to play games is okay for me, I don’t need to but, I need to be able to manage my team better. Please add these 🙏

Get the all time online H2H record from the EA account data base. One suggestion, instead of the Madden year: use generic. Example Madden NFL Companion. It should auto upgrade to most recent Madden game.

App would be soooo much better if you could do so much more with the franchise side like if there’s a draft just use it to draft or if someone sent you a trade you can take a look accept or whatever or even look at rosters
Cool
Great to see auction house prices and get some snipes but you don’t get notified when something sells or news about the game which is a let down from other sports games who have companion apps as well.

Still no fix
Was hoping the Madden team would have fixed the login issue by now, but they have not. Now, I doubt they care enough to fix it any time soon. Extremely frustrating and disappointing that they’d release an update that does not work.
Ok app but lags out all the time
Pretty ok app to use on the go but every 30 secs the app just lags out

The app is ok. It’s good that you can use the auction house for ultimate team but it would be so much better if you could quick sell cards or add them to sets. It would also be great if you could actually see your teams lineup. With these improvements the app would be decent but at the moment it does feel lacking in features
Promo updates
Love the app but it could use an update to add new promos. Haven’t been able to search cards by new active programs running is a huge L. Other than that complain amazing app

How have they made it worse?
It was temperamental at best but since the update it continually crashes. Hugely frustrating. Nowhere near as good or as polished as FIFA21 app which is a shame.
So much potential but falls short by a lot
Really a great idea for an app and easy to navigate, I do use it frequently but its a frustrating app to use sometimes. For instance: if you turn your phone screen off while last on the app, next time you go on to your phone itll say “no connection” and kick you out, youll then try to re enter and itll say “app unavailable” forcing you to exit out of the app, swipe it away (shut down the app) and then re enter in order to use it again. You cant control training on it either or power ups and things of that nature, i wish you could, lastly theres a new bug that tells me to verify my account every single time (no exaggeration) I press anything on the app, whether i do the verification process or not, or exit out of the app or not, any player i press on, buy, auction, any screen i flip to, it says i need to verify my account, haven’t experienced this all year, its now saying my account doesnt have access to the app, So that needs to be fixed. Like i said, so much potential but it definitely falls well short of what it could be

Crashes after logging in
This app crashes as soon as I log in or immediately logs me back out. I was hoping since the release was delayed 3 weeks that it would come out working. I cannot export my league data which is quite frustrating.
Good Idea, Terrible execution
This app is very helpful when it comes to buying and selling cards and watching the markets. However it looks like it’s from 2001 and constantly crashes. Lots of bugs and glitches like the search not working. Constantly have to close and re-open the app which usually fixes it after a few refreshes. Please improve, as I use it a lot and this app has 5 star potential.
Companion app
It’s honestly a solid app if it’s working fine, although it needs fixing because of how rarely it works properly. Also it will be great if this app can include the ability to do sets. PLEASE ADD SETS

Here we are weeks after madden 27 and we finally got the update... only for everyone to have a login issue! Let's fix this ASAP!
Needs to be better
Unable to change line up in app, it’s awfully slow when first going in to the MUT element and when searching in the Auction House. Compared to the FIFA Ultimate Team app this is lagging behind significantly.
Madden MUT Review
I only use the MUT side of the app and it’s great that you can sort of access your MUT but it is missing so much compared to the Fifa 21 companion app I totally understand it’s not as big but this app is very slow and if you trade like me it’s asks to solve puzzles a lot which can be very frustrating you can only access your binder and the auctions no access to your team and no pack market or sbcs Improvements I would like to see: Faster at search times Been able to open packs A lot less puzzles when you have only searched a few times Access to view team Sbcs Please have a look at the app and make improvements it shouldn’t be that hard to have a similar set up to what FUT Companion has

Logging in
I can’t get pass the login prompt. After I put in my information and linking my EA account, it says “ log in error “ every time
So. Damn. Slow.
Jesus Christ. If you have literally all day to wait around for this app to load the auction house or your binder, then it’s great. Otherwise it’s very frustrating. App seems to only work late at night (I’m assuming when less people aren’t using it)

For Madden 24 and lower, you could barely use this app and it wasn’t functional and the quality of life was bad now it’s fully functional quick and the quality of life is great

I keep getting a login error when I sign in. It boots me out. How about making sure an app works before you roll it out.

Always says can’t connect to EA or something about a communication error. When it works it’s nice, but good luck
