AI overuse
Every photo and video used in this marketing is literally AI slop. I didn’t even make an account before realizing how BS this app is. AI use is not vegan for those that don’t get it.
Great Idea. Way to go in execution.
I see same faces everyday. I now remember the faces. And if scroll for 2 minutes without stopping, the app goes haywire and freezes. Also, the response lags to some clicks on the app randomly.
Brainwashing
App seeks to shame vegetarians in a covert way, and it’s sad. You should conserve more energy for transitioning carnivores, omnivores, pescatarians etc. have a nice day ☺️
Infedelity
After an email campaign from the app owners I replied saying that I am married now and I want the account deleted. Then I had a reply to my explanation of marital status incredulously asking, “why would you want to delete (sad face) we are investing in marketing..” How many married people would they like on the app? How would this make a net benefit for animal victims?

Waste of time. I was very hopeful about this app as it's supposed to be all vegans and vegetarians. But they allow "in transition" profiles, whatever that means. Also Unfortunately there are very few real people on this app who are actually still active. There's no way to know the last time they logged in so it's endless scrolling and liking people who may or may not still be around. Also when I tried to validate my profile their text message with the validation code never came through. They also rejected my second validation photo Seven times. Shouldn't be this difficult. Uninstalling.
Good App!
I really like the premise. It’s great to have an app for people like us to connect! As far as the app itself, it works fine, nothing special. The only caveat is the limited amount of users, but I suppose that’s due to the nature of its audience.
Great concept, terrible execution
This is such a great idea, but the app is truly awful. Too many ads that you can’t close without leaving the app and then you have to swipe through all the people you’ve already seen and aren’t interested in matching with. Why is there no way easy way of removing the people you aren’t interested in? I get they’re trying to get away from the swipe culture, but it makes you not want to use it you’re constantly having to see the same profiles over and over..
UI needs a major overhaul
This app could be so incredible if it was easier to use. Not being able to remove people without 3 steps makes it feel like an arduous task to find someone you’re interested in. Also, please get rid of a like I’ve received if the person deleted their account. I’ve paid multiple times in the past to see my likes, only to have most of them revealed to be a gray deleted account. Extremely frustrating. A “Friends Only” section is also desperately needed. It’s such a bummer to see “in a relationship/married, just looking for friends!” on the profile of someone who “Liked” you. The app itself feels clunky in general. 3 stars for the idea.
It’s a friendly place
It’s not perfect… The app doesn’t capitalize the first word of every sentence and it has a continual loop of a somewhat small audience, but if you are vegan or veggie, it’s a wonderful place to meet people of like mind. Very civil, a little bit flirty and I think it feels like a safe space for women important to me having a daughter and two granddaughters. Everyone meets online these days… Including all three of my kids who are now married.
Unbelievable number of bot/scammer accounts

Love the concept but has some flaws
Love the concept but the main thing that is frustrating is you can’t see who has liked you unless you pay. Most other dating apps this is a free feature so it’s frustrating and is the main reason I’m not using it much. I feel like not seeing who likes you stops you potentially matching with someone who you could really get on with. In this current setup you have to scroll through all these people like someone and then hope that person spends enough time on this app to do the same. With some minor changes this app could be great!
Scammers paradise
Shallow population in my area. Seems like I get lots of attention from scammers. The profiles of ther” scammers are easy enough to spot, I’m not sure why the app won’t weed them out.

You can only see super likes for free…
So expensive. You can’t see any “likes” unless you spend a minimum of $25/month. The only thing you can see is “super likes.” Not worth it.
The app is awesome but
The app is cool nice ui interface and has a good match and free version is awesome but it laggy I hope this new update fix that
A good start
The appeal of the app’s offering is evident, but it lacks refinement - so much so that you could be easily convinced this was an Android app. Examples are the lagging scrolls that caused me hide profiles while trying to scroll down; information not updating (years as a vegetarian should have been 3, but it kept showing 1 in my profile); and a menu that is reminiscent of early CSS1 design. Or maybe the app is amazing as it is and I’m just venting because my below average face could not attract a single match after weeks of use? Try it and let me know.

Veggly is okay at best. It’s gotten better over the years. I’m leaving a comment to see if it will stop asking me to update my 3-star rating.

Matches disappear
Multiple matches disappeared mid conversation
Needs improvements but works just fine no bugs or anything.
It’s more like a website than an app, it never really readjusts based off of likes. There’s also no dislike button which would be nice as I don’t wanna keep scrolling past the same people all the time. Other than this it’s pretty fun.
Just dead
From a hetero man’s POV, most of the new profiles are clearly bots. The other profiles seem dead. Maybe worth having a profile to support the app, but I forget I have it until I get a notification.
Has potential
The app was nice to use and it was a good way to meet like minded people however the amount of fake profiles that I came across ruined the experience.. Got to the point where anytime there was a new match I felt I had to establish whether or not it was a genuine profile first of all - not ideal. If only signing up for the app included a process that could confirm your identity, like BUMBLE does, then there would be no fake profiles and the onus wouldn’t fall onto the users to establish if an account is genuine or not.

A joke at best
This app is an embarrassment to say the least. 5 years ago, I downloaded this app and quickly deleted it because the design sucked and there was no one on it. Fast forward to today- the design still sucks and they make you pay for everything. I’d rather try my luck elsewhere. I mean damn it hire a good ux designer??? My dog can build something better. Such an embarrassment this app hasn’t made much improvement in 5 years and managed to become worse. No I’m not paying 44 dollars for your premium features when your free features are mid at best. So disappointing.
You can meet someone
I have communicated with people on the app. I have 2 problems with it. 1) It constantly says I have a new match but really it’s a fake profile of a women living in Asia. 2) There aren’t a lot of women here from my area and age group.
Need more search preferences
For the next update please consider creating more search preferences. Vegan and age is not enough. It tedious to look through every page

Can't subscribe because the app wants to bill £14.99 while iTunes only takes £12.99. Emailed support twice but can't get anyone interested. I can't be the only person who's having this problem 🤷♂️
Totally different level of people in a positive way

Bad interface and verification
I’ll invest in a subscription when I’m actually able to scroll correctly, not have to tap on a button multiple times just to open it. Something’s wrong with the interface, super annoying. Can’t even verify my account because a one time code won’t be sent to my number, and after the first selfie it won’t take even though I’m copying the correct pose. What’s up with all this?

The worst thing is it won’t update my location unless I delete and reinstall the app. It has proper permissions. Memory management is poor, the more profiles viewed, the slower it gets with more battery drain. Otherwise it’s ok and has potential. I’ve had a couple of matches, no message responses yet. Could be bots 🤷♀️
Has its limitations
It’s great that there is a vegan dating app available, however, this app has a lot of limitations and restrictions unless you pay for a subscription. There’s so many frequent adverts popping up when you are using the app, which is distracting & annoying. There could definitely be many improvements made to this app to make it more user friendly.
Gratitude for Veggly
For some people, including me, it is not an option to be in a relationship with someone without the same moral foundations. It is very special to have a place to meet others who have the same moral compass. I will be forever grateful for this app; I met my husband here more than 3 years ago. Great idea, not very well executed
It’s an amazing idea, but it’s very glitchy and the chat function is awful. Worth putting up with though
Clunky site
Many areas that one minute work and the next not. Image uploading issues, along with the login page not recognising me when signing in again. I will persevere a little longer and see how it goes. Great for like minded people to meet.
Awesome (in theory)
The intention behind this is amazing, but the app itself is a bit clunky (best way i can put it). There isn’t anything like this for vegans and vegos, so I am grateful! Based in Sydney, Aus and there are more new profiles now than ever before which is exciting… having downloaded/ redownloaded a few times over several years, this is an improvement and advertising must be working! Not very high-tech, quite glitchy, not user -friendly/ intuitive to use. You can’t clear your likes/ super likes (even if you hide or exclude the profile) so they sit there forever, and you have to have a paid version to see who likes you. Profiles i have excluded or hidden in the past pop up still, as well as old profiles from years ago that I know are no longer active. Pop-up ads are frequent. Unlike other apps, a match and/or message is not clearly dated/ time stamped (both would make it so much better!)

Loaded with scammers
As a lifelong vegetarian and fully plant based for 8 years, it’s incredibly important to me for my match to be similar. I was excited to be able to meet people that already did this category. Unfortunately the people on the site are mostly fake and I only was messaged by a single real person. I have flagged more than a dozen that messaged me. I have reached out to support 3 times and never received a response. In short, Veggly is full of bots and scammers and no support response. Do NOT buy into the idea that you are supporting the cause. Don’t waste your time, money, or security with this app.
Great idea, improvements needed
Really love the idea and most of the features, however there’s some improvements I suggest: - autocorrect/spellcheck - it’s difficult to ‘exclude’ people, very faffy, which means I can’t look through peoples profiles without seeing the same people over and over again (unless I painstakingly exclude everyone I look at and am not interested in). It would be so much better to have a swipe system, or just make it possible to exclude with one button - using set values for the ‘about me’ section, instead of free text - be able to sort by people you haven’t seen yet - make it easier to unmatch - add other questions on profiles to help get a better take on people Imo these changes would make the app brilliant! Thank you!
