Steals credit card information?
I immediately had an additional charge for the Apple App Store for a much larger amount than the premium in app purchase amount and received an alert from my bank about potential fraudulent charges after purchasing beyond the first lessons. The lessons themselves were useful but I have uninstalled the app due to privacy and financial concerns.
Great
Really useful love that you only have to pay one time to get all the lessons and it’s a reasonable price. My only complaint is I wish it was real recordings and not a Robo voice. I don’t know how much to trust the pronunciation. Some of the letters sound exactly the same and there’s no way to get 100% answers correct because there’s no way to know which ones they mean because it’s the exact same sounds.
there’s cheaper versions that work better.
it only lets you do two lessons. i think it’s a scam.
Two Free Lessons
Seems like a decent app, however you only get two short basic lessons for free; after that you have to pay $3 for the Hangul levels, or $12 for all the levels. On the plus side, those are one-time payments; not subscriptions, which I can appreciate.
love this app!!
ive been testing out Korean learning apps and none of them have been good. i used 3 different ones for months and 1 for 4 years (ahem, doulingo), and this one taught me more in one day then all the others. thank you for being made! 💜
This is deceiving
The stroke get stuck. This is a waist of your money, although is only 2.99. They are taking your money do not purchase this. I followed the dots and it does not recognize the stroke, I spent minutes trying to get out of completing the stroke. I am going to dispute it
Great but limited
I really like the style of learning, and it works great, but there isn’t very much here. It would be awesome to see it get expanded.

it’s not free, buts it’s still good. the thing is tho.. theres many other apps that are just like this, and are FREE.

Level three final consonants review all doesn’t work. It’s a shame because one and two were good.

Love it but…
I love this app, I used the Japanese version a few years back and memorised lots of characters, so I’m using this for Korean. HOWEVER, whenever I need to type the translation of characters in Korean, the app highlights the characters in the keyboard, giving me the answers. Maybe I just don’t know how to change this, but everything else is great
Good at the start
At the start, when you go to level one which is the basic you will feel really good because you are learning quickly but when you go to the third lesson they ask you to PAY!!! I thought it was for free!

There are like 11 different lessons in one level but you can only do 2 lessons per level without paying money.

Several letter I could not draw. It’s bit buggy. Certain letter I pick does not go right letter. Bad internal links.

It’s an OK app just the one thing is is I kind of want to learn how to say stuff and not right and when I write, it can come out the exact same way I very much like this app, but it would be a lot better if I could learn more words than vowels and consonantsif you like the app that is OK with you this is my opinion

I'm learning some Korean for an upcoming trip. After downloading a dozen apps, I think this is the best place to start! Love the UI
Scam
You do like two lessons then you have to pay a bunch of money?
Learning
I’ve only finished level 1, I failed the parts where you do have to write them on it’s own so I restarted but so far there’s no adds or anything that says I have to pay and it’s short lessons and quiet fun actually so I’m rating it a 4 star! If anything changes in the future i’d be sure to change my review :D
Ads
I can get up to 5 ads in the same exercise…not after it, they straight up interrupt your learning
Good but audio says the wrong letters
It’s a bit confusing when a letter shows up and it reads out the wrong letter (usually the one 1-3 ahead). It would be nice to have this bug fixed and it would definitely be a 5 star as easy and simple to use with no ads.

Really enjoying the app…but
I’m loving this app, and loving learning the alphabet and I can even (very slowly) figure out how to say Korean words having used this app after a couple of days. Some people are complaining about the price to unlock the other lessons but it’s very small (I paid £1.49 in offer) so extremely worth it in my opinion. What I don’t like is that it glitches when I write certain characters (mainly the K and G when next to an YEO or YA sound) even though I’m writing them perfectly which is very frustrating. This app won’t teach you full Korean words but will help you understand word structure so It’s a great starter app, but please fix the letter glitch.

Simple UI but only one practice level is free before you’re asked to pay £1.79 to unlock the others.

This is helping me very much also because I’m going to korea soon.
Doesn’t work
This seemed perfect for me as it matches my learning style, and the first two lessons were great! However, unfortunately from then on the lessons don’t work at all. You cannot get past the drawing exercises no matter how many times you try. I tried skipping lesson 3 in case it was an anomaly but it was the same for the next lessons as well. Super disappointing! If this was fixed the app would be great.
Very good to memorise
It’s really good to practice and memorise the alphabet, although the introduction of more information like how they’re use or cultural facts related to the writing will be nice.

this app would be 5/5 stars cuz it’s pretty good, i feel like im retaining the information well, but i HATE being interrupted by ads mid lesson. wouldn’t it be better for the ads to play before or after each lesson instead of in the middle? i hate when im writing and then an ad pops up. it’s so frustrating!!

App freezes and will not load into a lesson. Had lots of lag upon initial launch as well.
Really great but...
Sometimes the writing can be buggy. For example currently I am on the Korean character “RA” (which looks a bit like a snake) and the writing is very buggy so I had to disable it in order to proceed. I was looking forward to be able to develop the correct strokes so would be great if this could be looked into.
Buggy, leftovers from Japanese app
The app crashes regularly, rejects strokes arbitrarily (even by my native Korean friends) and has leftovers from the Japanese app saying ‘write Katakana’ in places.

I’m actually learning Hangul very quickly because of the repetition and how strict the writing pattern is. I am very okay with the price this was.

The app freezes once I start a lesson, sometimes with a blank screen. Looks like it’d be a good app from the screenshots, otherwise.
Can’t restore purchase
A really good and simple way to learn Korean, but it won’t restore my purchase from my old iPad and comes up with ‘product not found’
