Do better
The app is so difficult to use that finding basic features is a big problem. Switching from Afterpay to Cash App still doesn't let me use it to buy anything. Add an icon where customers can easily plan purchases and pay back without hassle. None of these icons appear in settings or on the main page. I can't even find the virtual card either 😡.

Unable to purchase at supreme store
Only a select few store work
Every time I try using this app the only store that it allows me to buy from is amazon. All these other stores are featured but none will allow me to “create new card” make a purchase. I also have plenty of purchasing power with a balance under $50 on a previous AMAZON purchase so it’s not like the money isn’t available. If you are going to advertise all these businesses on your app then you better be sure it works. That’s a lawsuit waiting to happen.
It’s super convenient but…
I’ve used this app for several years and it has came in handy for back to school, groceries, car parts… you name it! I just wish they would fix the error when ordering on walmart through the Afterpay app, selecting to pre-fill the card details, and then nothing happens. No card details are entered. At that point you’re forced to close out the app entirely and attempt the purchase again. This is inconvenient when the kids are chaotic and I’m spending a couple minutes to place a quick order. It’s actually made me say never mind to Afterpay a few times. It has been going on for YEARS, so it appears there is no resolution in place. Please fix this error!
Tells me to download the app
The app is downloaded already and it doesn't give me information on how I can spend the money or a card??? Anytime I click on chat with support I'm brought back here to download the app when it is already downloaded, and it won't let me call?? Maybe it got hacked? I have a friend that can't even log in anymore and she owes money but they're saying she doesn't have an account??
Can’t get a loan
Stupid that you have to pay 100 dollars before you can use any money this app just being reported as a waste of time and fraud saying you can get a loan the saying you have to pay 100 dollars before you can use it when no one who tries and get can that the whole point of a loan is to get it then pay for it

Please close my account. I hv paid off, you people never took my account off hold after sending my documents to you several times an d I only ask to change myDOB. You all trying to change my name that I never tried to do.. you are a joke.
Support doesn’t respond
They froze my account because they spelled my name wrong and after I sent information to have it updated they never got back with me. It’s going on 2 weeks now and I can’t use my account.
Disappointed
They use to have Lego gift cards I bought a few and paid them off and got myself a good balance but now they have taken the gift cards away and you can no longer buy then
Decent
It is a handy little app. If you don’t pay, you don’t get to buy. It’ll drop your limit down, too. If you’re mindful and diligent with that, your limit increases. I’ve never had to use customer service so I can’t speak on that, and I’ve never had issues as others have outlined. I’ve used this for probably 3-4 years now.
Went down Hill
Company is a joke now, showed email threads that my items was being returned and tracking info and they decided to now dispute the transaction but instead take the last lil funds out my account. Couldn’t reach a live person they have really become bad and not the same when for started have been dealing with them for years and I can’t believe this.

Fantastic option
Some stores such as H&M don’t have use of Afterpay for their site. However, I purchased a gift card from Afterpay to use on H&M. It worked and was so quick. They had a crazy sale and free shipping so I didn’t want to wait to order my son clothes but could still use the “pay in four” option. Afterpay always works. Never issues. I’ve had issues with other apps that will take the money, and say the order didn’t go through, then I when to fight for a week or two to get refunded for the payment it did take. No issues with Afterpay. Kids clothes are expensive and I like the flexibility of Afterpay
Refund issues and double charging
Had an item returned but Afterpay won’t give me my refund. Paid some payments early the app won’t reflect and telling me I have to pay again.
No Afterpay Card Canada
Can’t add the Afterpay card to my wallet so I can use it in store! This is really annoying! Why announce a feature that doesn’t work or one that you haven’t actually implemented or haven’t tested to ensure it’s useable? I’ll be uninstalling this app and never using it again, I’ll also be telling all my friends your app is trash and to stop using it ASAP!!
Was good but stopped working
I use afterpay weekly love it until this week the gift card option stopped working when. You hit the continue button you can’t when purchasing a gift card and there are no human agents to help customer service blows! Fix your app

Errores recientes y validaciones innecesarias
He hecho varias compras al inicio fue muy muy bueno hasta que me ampliaron el crédito pero me pidió nuevamente una validación. Y los datos son correctos únicamente dice que no puede validar la cuenta.

Updated my iPhone to 26.0.1 and I can no longer use the app to purchase anything.
Don’t miss payments
The overall app is great! My only issue with the app is the extremely drop in credit if you miss one payment (even if it is only 24hours late, and you pay ahead of the bill date). For example, you start off with $600 when you start on the app; the credit decrease is by $550 if you miss ONE payment (regardless on how late the payment is, in my case 24hours late) and take MONTHS to rebuild it back up to $600.
Love the app
I’m Canadian. I haven’t tried to pay in store like some others. However I love the app. I haven’t had any problems with it at all. I love to be able to get things I really want and pay in, instalments. I can’t wait to see how much more it improves in time.

Orders stopped going through
This has happened to me like 3-4 times now. I place the order on the merchants website with Afterpay and the order processes on Afterpay however the order never actually places with the merchant. Afterpay still takes the funds and sets up payment plan for an order that was never placed. Beyond frustrating having to jump through hurdles with customer service and wait days trying to get a refund. Safe to say that I’m done with this app as soon as I’m done with my current payments.
Error
There is a problem saying I owe and make payment to continue but there is no balance owed. It shows I have screenshots of no balance and past payments paid in full. The app will not allow me to get to customer service and the browser is of no help.
Don’t do it
They have options on there to trick you. If you want to pay a certain amount up front don’t do it. They pick and choose which installments they want to cover and not cover even if you have it on automatic payments. They have some installments paid twice instead of paying which ones are actually due. Don’t bother trying to get any support. They will give you the run around and at the end you get no help at all. They just send sorry messages. Get with PayPal or another group because they really answer right away and will actually help when it’s their mistake.
Doesn’t work
I got approved for 600 every time I try to use it. It won’t let me use it. I even tried using it when I got my paycheck. I can’t figure it out. I thought maybe it was my phone but I have a iPhone 16.
