Very very good!
I initially thought that an app like Duolingo would be better but I’m learning a lot better than I thought with this app instead. I recommend after barely learning a portion to retest 100x to solidify the information in your brain.

Algılama sorunları
Bazı harflerin üstündeki noktaları veya çizgileri falan algılamıyor. Test sırasında birkaç başarısız denemeden sonra görünen kılavuzu birebir taklit etsem de doğru kabul edilmiyor. Onun dışında bir sorunla karşılaşmadım, Harika bir uygulama. :3
Great app for kids who want to learn Russian.
I like the way that they are using their Russian skill, overall, it is a great app for learning Russian.
Do not recommend this
If you are reading this do not get this app it’s very frustrating and annoying but if you are interested in learning Russian I recommend Duolingo you can learn 1000+ lagauges! And who wants to learn CURSIVE Russian. The normal kind of Russian is easier to write with.

Need Cyrillic Option Back
The app no longer has the option to have cyrillic only for the letters at the top. It only has the english sound/letter that the cyrillic corresponds to. Please update this.
Very good but there are bugs
I like this app but encountered 2 bugs in the 3rd lesson. The Y sound (й) doesn’t accept my mark above the letter, no matter how perfectly it traces the example. The Zh sound (ж) doesn’t ever allow me to finish the last part of the letter. It just accepts it before I finish. Maybe there are other bugs….these are what I found so far in the first 3 lessons. I’m using iPhone 13 mini, iOS 18.1.1.

They want me to buy twice.
I just got the app and payed the $5 fee but on my phone, same accounts,but it wont transfer to my iPad so my only option is to buy it twice or suffer the loss.

I’ve been using this app for a while now and I have to say personally I enjoy it and personally I think this is helping me learn and I enjoy it even though that it lacks an atmosphere kinda like Duolingo other than that I really enjoy this and I do not have a plan stopping any time soon

This app really amazes me as it allowed me to learn Russian alphabet from 0 just during my wasted times! It is perfect and free!

I’ve tried a few of these apps and I feel like this is the most helpful so far. The problem is it’s not good at recognizing symbols above the certain letters that have them. I spend most of my time trying to get it to recognize when I make these and probably 2/3 of the time, the program counts my writing wrong despite making the shape correctly. I don’t know if it’s not sensitive enough or too sensitive or not calibrated correctly, but it becomes frustrating fast, especially when you start to really get the hang of writing the letters well, but end up missing points on the test for no reason. If they fix this, it will be a 5 star app, no question. Even the free version is a delight to use as the ads are balanced well with how much app usage happens between each one. This app is so close to perfect…just this little fix and you will have something truly remarkable!

pretty educational
i don’t write reviews often because they take too long but i had to for this app☠️ one day i randomly decided i wanted to fully commit to learning russian (русский) and this app was one of those the first i picked to begin my journey. so far this app has helped me to successfully learn the russian alphabet :) very satisfied with this app! if you have the money to spare you guys should go ahead and pay the 5bucks for the full features of the app, as it helps support the developers :)
Wrong
It thinks у is written as how и is written in cursive. I speak Russian but I’m trying to brush up and this app is full of false crap.
Great for practicing, but a few quirks
This app is awesome for practicing Russian cursive, but every now and then it will accept something wildly wrong that I wrote, and for some reason I have to use my finger to finish drawing «Ё» because it refuses to dot the letter with my Apple Pencil. It’s still a great resource regardless.
Has a few bugs, a good idea for an app though
I got this app to help with learning how to write in written Russian letters. The problem is that when I try to trace a letter it doesn’t work and I keep trying and it doesn’t work, very annoying but the app is overall a really good idea

Not useful on iPad
Unfortunately, the app I’d love to use this on is a large iPad. This app is stuck in portrait mode. It does not support landscape mode — which is the only practical way to use this iPad of mine.
Needs Additional Option for 5 Stars
This app has been fantastic for learning Russian letters, but its been frustrating to have to keep turning the letter back on to trace it. There should be a setting to enable the letter in the background for practice mode. I cant remember a letter after only tracing it once. Pretty please developers? I love the app otherwise and purchased the full unlocked version.
For the most part great
I use the IPad Version and for the most part it works well but there‘s a bug where sometimes parts of the letters that appear are covered so that you can‘t see everything of them. Also it would be nice to be able to select the lessons you want to learn together cause right now you can only learn a single lesson, the ones that you already practiced or all the lessons. Otherwise it‘s a nice app!
Best way to learn Cyrillic alphabet (block lettering) & script
So I had brushed up learning the alphabet as is through “Real Russian Club” YouTube channel so I understood there was a difference between the two and looked into and learned the differences in written vs blocked but then learned there’s the cursive version too and I was getting frustrated trying to study and learn the changes THIS APP- ITS SO AMAZING TO CONDITION YOUR BRAIN TO GET THIS DOWN!!! Faster than standard practice for sure recommending to anyone learning Russian. I plan to make a YT channel and will be sharing it there, absolutely!

Great but needs more
This app is excellent but it’s missing three Russian letters: ы, ь, and ъ. It would also be helpful if it had some two letter combos to practice writing connected script
Good game
I think this game is outstanding, with the methods and all, but, I found with some letters like А,Б,В and Ж were overly strict with writing it out, like I even got to the point where I got Ж correct, but it still corrected me and said it was wrong.
Helping me relearn
I learned the printed alphabet about a decade ago as a teen, but have since forgotten some of it and I have never learned script. So far this app has been great as both a refresher for the print and pronunciation as well as a great tool to learn script.

This app is frustrating and when you don’t get something right and it turns red in the test ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh I hate this app do not recommend it doesn’t help anything
An honest review
I think this app is very, very helpful. But, it does have one tiny con that I think everyone will be okay with. I love how natural the voice sounds. Some apps make the voice sound too robotic. A very robotic voice makes it difficult to learn, well for me at least. I am a little annoyed that this app has you write what I believe to be the cursive version yet quizzes you on the keyboard version. I believe this is because you're supposed to be lightly familiar with both versions. I didn't know a thing about the Russian language and I didn't have a problem with this small con. I am learning two other languages and I can gladly say I will be able to rely on their other apps. I hope you found this review helpful.
Kinda like it
I overall do like this app but I’ve been writing the exact letter but it still counted it as wrong, and when it tried to “help” me it gave me the lowercase one to trace but said it was wrong. That’s the only problem with a specific letter.

Great concept
Being able to practice handwritten Russian is super helpful and no other app or tool really helps with this. BUT the app usually (not sometimes but usually) does not recognize a correctly formed character. You have to do it exactly according to the provided outline to be considered correct. I understand that image recognition is a tough machine learning problem, but the human eye is much more forgiving.
Could be good but...
Needs more opportunity to practice by copying the letters whilst you can still see them to get that muscle memory working. Very confusing if you are already familiar with printed Cyrillic because it shows you the English equivalent. Maybe have the Russian with the English in brackets next to it?

When I first got it I was like my parents are gonna be happy and when I showed them what I wrote the said it was incorrect I do not know why they like this game just horrible

I love the app but I do have one request. We’re writing the letters in cursive but the testing is in Russian itself. It’s a bit confusing but other than that I think the app is great and really helpful!
