Not so bad
Many of the reviews are very negative after a few days of use I personally have not experienced an issue. The GPS is not as smooth as other ride share apps I’ve used, but the drivers always found me and I got to the destination for the price marked.
Double Charges
After they refunded the deposit. The drivers app would not process credit card for payment. I pay in cash 3-4 hours later they charge your credit card. Emails & called customer service. Email response is they will investigate. Phone calls they hang up on you! It happened every time even after emails.
Overall decent
The app is a bit slow I would say if comparing it to Uber however the service worked pretty well for me. New Volkswagen polos and if you are downtown Kigali the wait isn’t more than 5 mins. Prices are better than local cabs Honestly made it easy to get around.

App is always shutting down, now assigning rides, canceling rides in its own or constantly cycling

I tried the app itself the best way to move around in Kigali the cars are brand new AC is perfect and you can choose your own music and the prices are more affordable than you might think.
App Doesn’t Work in Rwanda
I have only tried to use the app In Rwanda, maybe it works in other countries. I have never been able to order a ride using the app. The app has too many bugs and is not ready for release. My suggestion: change the app so when you open it, display a message to call 1010. This is the only way I have been able to order a Move Taxi.

Love the service but the app is sooo buggy
9/10 you dont see the driver name or number it’s just stuck at “preparing driver” and you have to wait for a driver to call you which is soo annoying. Pls fix your app :(
Payment options buggy
This app is horribly unreliable: cannot add payment system other than “Money Transfer” making it impossible to order driver. 🤯
Reset nicht möglich
Die App loggt automatisch aus. Ein Reset über "Passwort vergessen" wird angeboten, aber der Service funktioniert nicht.

Everyone should really move with VW Move. I just like how nice the interior of the vehicles are, it gives me pride when im going out
Broken update
They pushed an update that made this app completely unusable - if you select a payment option it just ignores you and then you can’t book a ride at all. Even when it was functional it was quite a poor app (3*) - just clunky, sometimes buggy
Service needs improvement
There should be a one-time password given to driver by passenger to start the ride because drivers start before they reach you to double the money👎please work on that.
Zero stars if possible
Such a terrible and frustrating app that I heard was built by interns. The new “update” won’t even let me book a ride. So ridiculous
This does not reflect well on wolkswagen
The app was difficult to upload a payment system. It doesn’t seem to keep track of where the car is or is going. Drivers don’t seem to know they have a ride unless you call them.
The drivers are horrible
This is the only way you really can around in a car and it’s horrible! Most of the drivers don’t know how to read the gps so it will take you way longer to get anywhere. They will say they are at your location at pickup and will not be. And if they say they are at your location and start the ride you can’t cancel! A lot of them don’t want to blow the A/C. They will ask you where you going when majority people riding are foreigners so we don’t know how to get there. It honestly got worse by the day! They should add an option for you to be able to text them so it can translate for them. They know their gas will be low and will pick you up and have to stop at the gas station like you don’t have anywhere to go.
Clueless Drivers
Whilst in Kigali this week, I have an aweful experience with almost ALL of the Move Drivers. 1) They take an unusually long time to arrive. Longer than what is written on the app as an expected arrival time. Often, the driver calls you to ask you where you are and HOW TO GET THERE! 2) Every single driver I’ve been in a car with has either made a phone call on their cellphone or answered a phone call and stopped focusing on the drive! 3) 4 out of the 5 rides we used; The driver would ask us how to get to our destination despite having a map on the app to direct them. The only reason I’m giving this company 2 stars is because the cars are clean, comfortable and well maintained, unlike Yego.
Not Lyft or Uber
It might be the best you can get in Rwanda but the drivers will accept the ride and then not move for 15 minutes, or they will call and ask where you are even though they have your location (and you are clearly at airport arrivals). I tried to take a premium ride today and the guy arrived but then said he had another “client” but he wouldn’t cancel the ride and wanted me to. It’s crazy to say but I’d rather pay the mizungu price for a moto and take my life in my hands than deal with all the nonsense.
Can you please fix your app?
It’s an excellent service when the app works but it is very unreliable.

The app always crashes and the drivers are often clueless and unprofessional. If you are in a rush they can take 30-40 minutes just to pick you up. Did I mention that the app always crashes?
