Great for learning Vocab and Pronunciation
I love this app for finding new vocabulary and learning the correct pronunciations. The only request I have is to have the ability to turn off the spaced time repetition either for all decks or one deck at a time in order to review cards as much as one pleases (and have the option to turn it back on later).

Отзыв
Крутое приложение, но стоит вместо артиклей сделать цветные слова, к примеру: der — синий, die — красный и das — зеленый.
Best German flashcard app I've found
I've tried - and paid for - several German flash card apps and this is the best yet. Sticking with it.
Не работает
Не понимаю в чём дело, не добавляет новых категорий и слов. Когда пытаюсь добавить вылетает. Короче не работает вообще
This app is great.
I appreciate the attention to detail in this app. I have not tried to feed any new words in “yet”. My one wish as of this point in time, would be to display the conjugation of verbs, especially when there is i-ei or umlaut rules.
Rats, hope it’d be better
I was gonna give this three stars, because I find it frustrating - you have not actually learned a word if you can repeat its meaning when you see that word just 20 seconds later. And even if you tell it to add 50 new words, to try and spread them out, you’ll just see the same few over and over. In the end I just said I know a bunch of the words that I’ve seen a ton of times so I can get new words. Pretty frustrating and not sure I’ll continue using it. But then I lowered it to two stars when I realized that tapping on the “Rate” button appears to automatically give it a five-star rating, rather than taking you here to actually rate it. I bought this in two different languages and I see the same structural problems in both.

Been learning German 3 years perfect for a refresh
Absolutely love the app so helpful for bite sized words everyday to keep me familiar and build upon my German and I don’t even have premium !

Good app but a few bugs
I like this app and use it daily but noticed some bugs and a few improvement that could be made. Seems that the app will automatically assigned some words as “already known” even though I’ve never heard them before. I’d also like the option of assigning the status of some words. Even though I have reviewed some basic words for the last few months they won’t go into “Mastered” status. I have the recall in one direction as well and have reduced the setting to about 20 days but I’m still seeing the same words show up for review. It would be nice to have the ability to set them to mastered.
Ok but volume doesn’t work
Keeps telling me to turn volume up to hear. Volume is up. Please fix this glitch so I can hear pronunciation!

Finally found the vocab/flash card app that is sophisticated but also easy to use :)
Не работает
Перестал работать
Text to be bigger
Can the text be bigger? So many empty space On the screen and not all users are 11 y.o ;)
Pauses and hangs inexplicably
Pauses on blank screens without apparent reason intermittently. Cannot get it unstuck by restarting, you just have to wait. Sometimes it says “Updating database.” Possibly it is sending or receiving information to an external service, which should not be necessary as decks are stored locally. Needs either more information or fixed.
I wish this app series has one for GRE vocab
This is the right method of memorizing words with flash cards. Everything is just perfect.
No me puede ayudar
Lamentablemente solamente lo enseñan en inglés y en ruso, pero no en español y yo estoy aprendiendo ruso en otras aplicaciones y tal vez pueda después aprender el alemán en ruso, pero por ahora no puedo y lo lamento muchísimo. Y es por eso que en muchísimas otras aplicaciones me lo enseñan en muchísimos otros idiomas y no solamente en 1 o 2 idiomas.

Great App to Assist Your Learning
I’ve been learning German for almost a year now and this app has been so helpful. I would recommend using this app along with other methods of learning as it won’t teach you everything, but it’s great to learn new vocabulary and review old words. I think the biggest plus for this app is that there’s words to start off, but you can also add your own at anytime. My strategy has been to take A1 German books and put any words I’m unfamiliar with from my readings into this app, and it’s super helpful. I also really appreciate the simple UI, lack of gamification, and nonintrusive ads. It’s genuinely very refreshing to see apps like this still around. I also agree with other reviewers that the ability to put a word under “master” yourself would be nice. I would also LOVE a community tab that allows people to upload their own packs that can be downloaded and shared with the community (like one for sports, job specific, etc). Or heck, even if the developers spent more time developing word packs and each one cost a dollar, I’d pay. Thank you for keeping this app simple and useful! Highly recommend to assist your learning.
Бесполезное приложение

Decent
Good app but star off for the constant pop up to leave review
This app was great but now there’s a bug!!!
The app has stopped allowing me to learn new words. I created a backup of my progress and I deleted and re-installed the app - no luck. I can’t learn new words and new words to review have stopped appearing.
Jax
I love this app. It’s good for if you already have a foundation in the language and just want to cram as many words in your head as fast as possible.
Not working
Purchased the app and I’m presented with blank screens and the app crashes when I try to access the settings menu. Help?!
Lagging app
When I swipe application and got to the menu of telephone and come back to the Reword app. there are always lagging and pausing for several seconds. Reword app. menu does not respond to any touches or motions for 3-5 seconds. Fix it please! Really annoying
Fantastic!
This is EXACTLY what I have been looking for- JUST vocabulary words. I am using this is conjunction with Duolingo to learn German and it is adding way more words to my vocabulary than Duolingo alone. It is well worth the $16.95/year cost!
No way to cancel subscription
Once you sign up, there is no way to cancel it.
Good
Good app - only thing i would improve is adding more sentence examples and tense forms for each word
Why is it not full purchase option?
I have already had the full eng reword app for near the year and okay, I accept that deutsch is another app and I need to purchase it separately. But why is it only a subscription options?🤔 I bought full eng version for 5 dollars, or even cheaper. Why I must pay 3 dollars every month for deutsch app? It must be such an “improvement” in your opinion? Or just the way to earn more money.😒
Amazing learning UX
Best app ive ever used for language hands down (and Ive used and paid for others). As a beginner learning German, I want quick and efficient access to vocab, and a simple process for reviewing and adding new words. Being able to easily select which subset of words is an amazing feature I haven’t seen before (at least not as smoothly as reword has it implemented). Has everything i need (i review grammar etc. through other resources). Highly recommend.
Pointless
What good is the app, if you cant have a memorization styled learning you show both words together then have a cheap play button to hear it there is no memorization involved because you can always see the translation
Verb conjugation and reverse translation
Great app overall. But one glaring omission seems to be — unless I’m just missing it somehow — that verbs should come with some way of memorizing conjugations in various tenses. They do provide example sentences but that’s usually not enough. And for regular verbs, you may be able to figure out the conjugations on your own, but that’s not always the case and it’s not the case for irregular verbs. There should be some way to practice conjugating verbs in the present, präteritum, indirekte, and imperativ forms. Again, apologies if there is and I missed it. Also, it would be very helpful if I could mix it up and see a German word and translate it into English, instead of always being the other way around.
Где артикль?
Почему при добавлении нового слова в «свои слова» не добавляется артикль, только перевод? Как я могу знать артикль неизвестного мне слова?
Multi language learning
I love this app! I’m a native English speaker who also speaks Russian, and I love that I can practice my German in Russian so it improves both languages at once! Also as an ESL teacher, I’m impressed with the vocabulary learning methods and with the delayed repetition.
Doesn’t work properly
Keeps going in circles. Can’t get the flash cards working because it says to add a category. Can’t add a category because add is not one of the options given!
Love it!
It is very good except that it doesn’t recognize umlauted german characters when I write them using a pen/stylus. I have to switch to keyboard before words with umlaut are inputted. Nevertheless, it is very helpful. Thank you! Developer, is there a way to make the app recognize umlauted german letters when I write using stylus? Please help. Also, can I use this app with the same contents on another device? I hope it would be possible. Thanks
