I rate it a one star because you have to buy like every single book that they have I think they only have 2 free ones and that makes me mad ๐ก๐ก
Great content if youโre willing to pay
The same story is fantastic, but everything else you had to pay for. Itโs understandable, Iโm just not sure I am willing to spend that money right now. I do however appreciate that itโs not a subscription, Eva use itโs a very small commitment to buy one story. So would recommend!
Simple past
Why are you using simple past which is not used in spoken French? Trying to teach French to kids they need to learn the tense that is used to speak . Itโs a shame otherwise the concept is great
No Audio

I purchased unlock all books, but it did not unlock any
I purchased the special to unlock all books, but the books did not become unlocked. I tried using the restore purchases button in settings multiple times, and open and closed the app. I had the same issue with this app on android and requested refund, thinking it may just be my phone.. but nope, same thing happened on my iPad. Beware if you try to buy anything on this app
Feature request
Love the app just needs to highlight the word being spoken so the child knows what word is being said!

Doesnt open properly
At the start up, the entire menu is scrambled at the top.
Great product
I love this product as it have the language you know and the one youโre learning in one page. I wish it had the option for a sliding button when you only want to read in one language and an option for reading just a single word. Many times I want to hear just a word but with reading the whole sentence, the word I need to hear is not clear. Also, wish it was a one time purchase for access to all content.

Excited for more selection
It's a very cute app. Very basic. I'm excited to read the stories to my littles to both practice my own Spanish (a bit humiliating that I've been speaking Spanish for years and still can learn from children's books) and introduce Spanish to my kids. I'm looking forward to more selection. Perhaps some more popular children's books and classics plus even more original content. I would love to see some books by Audrey and Don Wood like The Napping House and Like a Cricket.
Audio?
I purchased the intro pack but can not get any sound. Iโve unchecked the speaker (no slash), Iโve turned up the volume - not a sound. I do get a little whirly blue ball on the screen, but nothing happens even if I wait. I have good fast internet, so no idea why no sound.

Great but could be better
I love this concept but it makes you pay for everything and only one thing is free. Not to mention the supply of books you CAN buy or very very limited.

This is a fantastic app and each book is really worth it. The content is perfect for language learners and the illustrations are wonderful. Any chance at all that more will come out in future updates? Personally, Iโm less interested in flash card releases and more interested in additional stories for language learning.

I havenโt found an app like this one that has great books in several languages to choose from at the same time this app is wonderfully made thank you for making it I wish the audio would work but it doesnโt seem to be working as of today

frustrating app Audio Fails
Audio worked once then never again. Tried 8 times and even re-installed once V disappointed (Ive set the language, unmute and volume. Re-installed app). no sound so useless app. (This was for the Free Rikki weather story. )

When I got this app, there was one book that was free and the rest you have to pay.
Enjoyable
You definitely have to pay for more books. But the first book was very pleasant. Probably not recommended for serious learners, but a nice distraction, nonetheless.

Needs to Audio for other languages
Like majority of schools, books, etc, they only offer audio in English (US/UK), French, German, Italian, Mandarin, and Spanish. If youโre learning or know languages other than those above, youโre out of luck. They say more languages are coming, but letโs get audio for the ones you have. Norwegian, Russian, Finnish. How about adding Turkish too or languages listed on the critical language list?
