Flicktype-watch keyboard
It help's me type on my applewatch.
SCAM!!! DUMBEST APP EVER
Why is it EVERY SINGLE WATCH KEYBOARD on the App Store is FREE to download, but you have to PAY to actually use. Unacceptable. Flicktype, watchkey, all of them. They do this to jack up their Downloads counter to appear more trustworthy. It’s not our fault that Apple implemented the DUMBEST typing methods on the Apple Watch. A Keyboard should be built-in in software. Someone should make a free solution. Apple, implement it or find a solution to these watch SCAMMERS!
App Update
Not sure if the app itself needs to be updated by the developer because since last Apple software update I cannot use it to type messages through my watch. A ‘type’ bar pops up on my iPhone and as I’m typing on iPhone I can see it typing on my watch. It only lets me reply via microphone on the my watch? Which defeats the purpose of having keyboard in the first place. Maybe not compatible anymore, which is to bad because it’s a great app. Apple Support couldn’t help, said it was a developer issue.
Does tell you how to use
This app doesn’t tell you how to use. Keyboard on watch
Only works in messages app
Would be a 5/5 if they updated it to allow to send messages to all apps
So fierce
It’s perfect thanks!
Eh
So, really good idea at first. I got this on my watch and was insanely happy that I didn't have to speak to talk, or write out everything that I wanted to say. But when it was finally downloaded, I realized that it's a huge hassle. Man, you had to go into iMessage to read the text, the go out and go into FlickType, then you had to swipe to text which is a good idea in theory, but it just gets it wrong 60 percent of the time. Then when you finally had what you wanted to say you have to click send, then scroll through ALL your contacts to finally find the guy who was texting you and by the time you hit send hes already doing smth else. I would buy this if I were you.
Stop complaining about the fee 🙄
If you want to use this keyboard, pay the fee. You don’t need it. You want it. Anyways, it is a helpful kick-up in speed to type on the watch. However, I can only find tutorials for the “legacy” version. Some of the instructions don’t work, such as double-tapping or holding. Stuff like that. Is there an updated tutorial? Thanks for putting in the work for this app.
NOT FREE
This app use to be free but now you have to pay to use the keyboard waste of space
Does this keyboard have size changer in settings?
I was irritated pressing the incorrect keyword does this have keyboard size change?
Very bad
I don’t want to pay
Horrible I hate it
You can’t touch a single thing until you pay. I AM NOT DOING THAT.
lol
lol
unhappy
I like the idea of this app but when I went to unlock the redt of the features it said it was a one time charge of 7.99 and afterwards i received a notice that i was charged $41 from the app. not happy
iMessage
Awesome
Perfect for my sons Apple Watch
bad
awful. why do i have to pay to use it
FlickType
Obowiązkowa aplikacja dla posiadaczy smartwatcha od Apple szkoda ze brak języka polskiego ale da się przeżyć. Gorąco polecam !!!
so far no soap
have had no luck using so far
Perfect.. but italian language?
Please the keyboard is ok but add Italian language!
Flick type
Why do you have to pay for it again if you already installed it. Like what the heck. And I think it’s broken because I already paid for it not just installed it
Doesn’t work
Tried emailing for support and got no response. Definitely did not work at all for us.
Excellent keyboard
The keyboard works fine on my series 3, and every Iwatch should have a keyboard on board. But the way it interacts only with the message app and does that in an awkward manner makes it a no go for me.
Messaging Default Keyboard
I can’t for the life of me figure out if it’s possible to use this app within the messages app or other system apps on Apple Watch SE. I bought it thinking that would integrate it but still seems to be the same and not super useful.
Bought the app
Works good except I wish it would link from the message app and not it’s own
Isaiah
Apple Watch
Don't get
Have to pay to add to wacha
Not free
The app isn’t free, once you use it a few times you have to pay, which it says no where. Good app if you really want it, it does work, but voice to text works fine too.
Do not work with Notes
It might work well with messages, but I need it more for notes and it didn’t work that well. The app will constantly detect weird function and shut before I complete the note. Also, I needed a 9 key keyboard because the watch is so small that even with the bigger keys within the app, it takes a lot to type.
It’s ok
Seems ok, swipe is good. However won’t work with WatchChat. Will allow you to type message, it then either sends the message 4 times or not at all.
خوب
معرکه
Not a replacement for your default input.
The only way to use this keyboard is in its own app or apps that were specifically made for it… you cannot use it in the Apple Messages app or any other app. I wish i knew this before paid the 7.99 for it. Very disappointed and not worth it at all.
Great app but only for English language
Hi. I love this app, it works great with English language. I am not able to use it in Polish. Could you please give permission to disable autocorrect without in app purchase?
Can’t silence ads
I like this app and I don’t care that there are ads at all but they are so loud and you can’t silence them unless you turn volume down on phone each time. I play while listening to music or audiobook and it just interrupts it every few minutes.
Only for Texts. disappointing
nowhere in the app description, does it say that it is only for texting. I had hoped that I might be able to enter text for keep, email, messenger and whatever other apps I want to enter text for. Entering text is fantastic though.
Flick type
I love this keyboard
Sucks
It’s now showing on my Apple Watch
Great but don’t know how to reply to a text with it
When texting through the actual application it works great but I have no idea how to reply to a text with it. I’ve watched every video and nothing works
This crap costs £8
💀💀💀💀💀
Awesome
Great app, and personally I really like it but after purchasing the full app the swipe and favourite contact doesn’t seem to be working….
Brilliant.
Smashing, super, marvellous 👍
Stupid pricing
U use to be able to type for free but it just keeps getting more and more expensive im sick of it
Great to use
Great to use but it would be good if it came up on the normal message app instead of going into the flick app
Messages only
As an app for messages, Reddit or twitter it’s great BUT the dev should be upfront about what this app does; I.e., the app does not work seamlessly as advertised (not the devs fault but why say it is??). Also, the app does not replace all keyboard inputs only messages and a small handful of other apps. This should be made clear but again isn’t. If dev was more transparent this would be a four star review.
Please add integration with iMessage app.
I would be willing to pay more than approximately $2 for this service to have integration with apple’s iMessage. I think that it would be more beneficial if people were able to access the app from the iMessage on the watch. This app has lots of potential to be great, it just needs more development and time.
K
A must have
Lame
$8.99 per month just to us a keyboard!!!!!!!!
And excellent start
This application does exactly what it says on the 10. If it ever becomes an integrated system keyboard, it will be extremely powerful. It greatly increases my typing speed, and makes it much faster to put accurate text into my device.
Deceiving
I got this app to be able to type my my Apple Watch, however, I can’t reply from my watch and I have to type on my phone. The only app it works is the emails. I really hope to get my money back.
😩💔
Not working in my phone at all
