so laggy horrible app
this app is actually a joke. The bugs are absolutely horrible. It makes it near impossible to get through an episode without any issues, first off whenever you pause it’ll freeze your whole screen so you can’t unpause and you have to reset the whole app just to watch the show again. The whole app freezes whenever you press next episode and it freezes when you let it auto play to next episode as well (it only fixes when you reset the app), also the skip intro button doesn’t show up half the time and the few times it does show up is over 3/4 into the intro. Not to mention half my inputs don’t register and it is not an issue with my device because I have the newest iPad, good Wi-Fi, and the app is at the most recent update. Also whenever I close the app completely the audio from whatever show I was watching still continues to play for at least five seconds even when the app is fully closed. I don’t know how I’m paying monthly for an app that barely functions.

Year later downloading is still crazy slow comparing 4 other streaming services. Also app is really buggy and freezes if you manage to pause then half time can’t hit play and have to close and reopen. No others streaming service is this buggy.
Very good but…
I love the app but at times it returns to the start of the previous episode which is most annoying when you are part way through an episode. Please fix the glitch it happens on other devices and for other users as I’ve had discussions with friends. Thanks

Ads a ridiculous
I got this service through my sky cinema - thank god I’m not paying for the ads included subscription. I won’t be using it anyway as they take the absolute mick out of it. I was watching a 20 minute episode of parks and recreation just to sit through 4 different sets of ads. I have never had a streaming service like it. I understand sitting through a couple of minutes of ads per episode but really… 4 separate times. All 2 minutes long.. 8 minutes to watch 20 minutes. Maybe take a page from Netflix and hbo and try to appeal to people keeping the ads included subscription instead of annoying them into upgrading. It hasn’t worked for me - infact it’s the opposite I will not be paying for paramount after sky - ads included or not.

Love the content - app is frustrating!
The app is painful to use. I use Apple TV, Netflix, Prime without issue but the Paramount version often leaves me changing over to something else. I travel lots and use a VPN. I download episodes to watch when I’m on a plane/train. Regularly find my downloaded episodes don’t play when offline and throw up an error. Find the app won’t even load if my VPN is active. Once stuck in the loop downloaded or streamed episodes won’t play. Have tried disconnecting from WiFi, restarting the app and even restarting the device - all result in the error messages. Logged out of app and VPN, again not rectified. Just very very frustrating and leads me to use other more reliable services. Disappointing.
Performance on other devices
When I wanna paramount on my phone or my PS5 it runs like garbage but on my tv it’s perfectly fine

Simple, for whatever reason I can’t stream anything in English version anymore. I am stuck with either French versioning or the English with audio descriptions one. It’s pathetic. Subscription cancelled as a result.

Great to be able to watch Star Trek but don’t understand why it doesn’t do the basics on iOS and Apple TV like remember where you got to when watching and being able to skip forward or back.

Why do I bother paying for an app what doesn’t work??!!
Everytime I TRY and use this it kicks me off the tv but yet works perfectly fine on a tablet. Ridiculous. Doesn’t matter what you try to do to solve the problem it just continues to the same thing, crashes, freezes and then turns the tv down completely!!

Sería genial que Paramount+ permitiera personalizar los subtítulos (tamaño, color, fondo…) dentro de la propia app, en lugar de depender solo de los ajustes del sistema de iOS. Así no se modificarían también en otras apps. También agradecería poder guardar preferencias de audio y subtítulos por serie, para no tener que cambiarlas cada vez al alternar entre series. ¡Gracias!

Crashes
Every time I try to watch the reason I got paramount+ for, just freezes and crashes if I try to watch it, and the episode won’t even load. I’ve tried every method to stop this and it doesn’t work. Terrible app.

Hardly works
Just doesn’t work anymore, tried redownloading it, it just says the content isn’t available or it loads the title and no option to watch anything, it’s been getting worse for a few days and now this. Can’t watch anything at all.

Constant App issues
Despite following the suggested “fixes” the app constantly fails to work on the TV. Reporting the issue via the Paramount+ app doesn’t allow me to select certain responses and therefore the issue cannot be fully reported. All this and they want to increase the subscription fee.
Why it’s good
U can watch thing u can’t watch on Netflix and Disney but on paramount + u can watch old movies that aren’t on either of those even tho I have only watched 3 or 4 thing I think it will be good app bye have a great day to whoever reads this bueee

Mal optimizada
Tienes películas muy buenas, pero la aplicación está pésima. Se traban las películas, te saca de la aplicación, tienes que conformarte en ver la película en una calidad de 220p y ni se diga si la descargan en su TV. Lit se congela la imagen y te apaga tu televisor.

The app is good on ios but its a hit n miss in features. If u stream it on tv then its inconsistent n loses connection and small things like skipping few seconds is 30sec while streaming to another device(tv) from the iphone but if u watch on device then its 10sec. I hope they fix these thingd in future

Better than it was
I thank the team for fixing the 4:3 issue. Where the ads would normally be on the ad supported plan, there is a slight pause and audio distortion on the standard plan (ad free).
Keeps Losing my Watched History
This app is so annoying. I go back into it after a time of not watching to catch up on a new season and I have to figure out where I was up to. None of the episodes are marked as watched. This happens all the time and it’s so frustrating. All the other streaming platforms are so much better!!!
