Unreliable!
That is so unreliable app, I don’t recommend. When you need the connection most, it doesn’t work. No any prior warnings! The latest example is that the UAE was included in the list of supported countries just 2 weeks ago, no when i arrive i found out that UAE is no more supported!
Gute App, aber Accountdaten sind manchmal einfach weg
An sich eine sehr gute App wo auch alles super funktioniert, vor allem das Marketplace feature ist super, allerdings ist es etwas seltsam, dass man wenn man die App etwas länger nicht benutzt hat, seinen Account quasi neu einrichten muss und alle Daten und Käufe von früher weg sind. Zumindest bei mir so.
mainland china coverage is terrible
Shanghai: consistent signal for texts but all wechat calls get dropped after 5s due to poor speed. Fuzhou: only have data 5% of the time. Basically unusable even though it is in the covered list of countries. I guess dent negotiated with the cheapest, lowest priority of data with chinese telecom companies. My friend used Airalo in the same regions with no issue. I will recommend Airalo from now on.

Dent in Europe
It's worth it for the price and tne need to have signal upon arriving in Europe. I suggest activating the signal before leaving the USA and keeping it ON, until returning to the USA. 1Gb per day is e good planning ahead, you might use less than that . love it, thanks.

Works—most of the time
DENT data works pretty well in the USA. It uses Verizon by default, and T-Mobile is available as well. Data connection is fast enough for most uses when using a local connection. USA one is in northern Virginia. Some web sites, especially e-commerce sites, block access from DENT. It’s really annoying, as I have to find WiFi to visit the sites. The DENT Marketplace is more difficult to use than it needs to be. When searching for data, you can only see a subset of the available offerings, and you can’t filter by things like expiration date and price per GB. I have lots of DENTs, and the value of them varies over time. It’s really annoying when my purchasing power declines precipitously. The Marketplace always reverts to USD, and I have to change back to DENTs. The most annoying thing is that selling data often throws an error “Sorry an unexpected error occurred“ They might not expect the error, but I do. I just tried as I was writing this review, and I got the error again. I never get an error when buying data. It’s annoying, because most things work okay, but there are significant deficits in many parts of the service.

Dent is awesome for travelers. I’m subtracting one star because when I run out of credit, I’m unable to buy more credit using Apple Pay because they block the connection to Apple’s ApplePay servers until you have credit. It’s a catch 22.
My all login credentials are gone!
I’ve an account I was using Dent and now my all kogin credentials are gone. My number not registered? My login details are lost! My account is now gone including my dents too.
Account gift 0.5gb expires in 5 days
I just opened up an account and on activating I received a message of a welcome gift of 500 MB. Thank you very much. Just the problem is that I also read that this worldwide data volume expires in five days. Well, I do not travel within the next five days. Hard to understand why you hand out a gift and pull it back in five days. I guess I’ll stick to Red Bull data, their welcome gift expires in one year. Thx, upgraded to 3 stars. But I already deleted my account. A 7 day gift not better than five days. With Red BullI had a one year window to use.
Global Trek
I’ve been using Dent for roughly two years. It has worked flawlessly in all the countries listed. Dent covers the majority of the countries most visited by tourists. I’ve noticed over the years new countries have been added. I like the fact you don’t have to think about getting a new eSIM when traveling to another country. The best part is at the end of your trip you can sell you leftover data for Dent coins which you can later use to purchase data on Dent. You can’t say that about other Esims. It’s mainly use it or lose it on other platforms.

Its not easy to connect 3G or 4-5G roaming when you travel on different country . Im exhaused to try different number in detailed settings , Choose manual operator or automatic, Choose DMI settings bla bla bla …. Its relatively low cost for roaming but has annoying connection issues .

Inconsistent connection and speed. The Dent marketplace is a scam
Data connection drops constantly, for no apparent reason, even when I’m not moving or crossing borders. Data speed is frustratingly unreliable, even when stationary. It’s sometimes super fast and sometimes you’re unable to load a simple webpage. And it doesn’t work with ChatGPT Dent points one can earn by watching ads is never enough to buy new data. The cost of the data keeps increasing as you earn. It’s all a gimmick.

Could not use the data
Got the app for the trip to NewZealand. Struggled for 6 days to make it work for my compatible phone. Customer service was prompt with many to try solutions but still could not connect to internet so I could only manage their help when would find free wifi. Had to disconnect it unfortunately as I had high hopes for the app. Hopefully they can make it more workable and simpler to set up without glitching.
offers are too bad
App shows limited time offer until the end of october (2023) but there is no way to catch it. Simply nothing happens if one takes their finger to the banner above the usual offers. Free "dents" for looking advertisements or spinning the wheel are really less worth the time and data one spend to get them. So technically a good solution but the offers are too bad at all.

Unable to find out information about where can I use it within USA. I bought the data pack to use in an Alaska but most of the places I got no coverage. Coverage is very spotty in New York area as well and only able to connect to slow speed and unable to browser anything most of the time

Like the title says it’s ok, traveling through the UK it would drop out and give me the loading wheel in the biggest of cities and yet on a walk in the woods I’d receive a bunch of text/emails that I’d missed. Use another company

Useful app but could be refined
Good app overall, I was able to use it in Portugal and planning on using it again in the future. The fact you can resell data is useful as long as you get it sold on the marketplace. However when buying DENT with bitcoin it takes longer than expected and desired for the DENT to go into to your account. It arrived in my account on the tail end of my trip to Portugal. I was also thinking it could be useful to see how much data you have left offline so for example there could be a way to open the app and see how much data there is remaining without needing to be connected. Also, if possible 4G could be a bit faster than it currently is. But overall and most importantly the app works which would be useful in an emergency situation or for just wanting data went abroad.

Could easily be so good
It’s ruined by them naming every roaming network ‘Dent’! So when you arrive at your destination and try to find a network, you have hours of fun trying to find one that works. Think I’m going back to Flexiroam

Excelente para tener internet al viajar en tu teléfono o para darle servicio de internet barato a tu iPad. Se puede compartir el paquete de datos entre varios dispositivos. Cada uno con su propio eSIM. Los datos que te sobren los puedes “vender” en el marketplace para convertirlos a “Dents”. Los “Dents” no caducan y puedes usarlos para volver a comprar otro paquete de datos cuando sea necesario.

Unreliable connection with frequent outages
I’ve been using Dent for a few months now. I’ve tried it in NZ and Madrid. I’m both counties I found that the data connection would suddenly stop working. I’ve contacted Dent support and tried a range of steps to fix the issue. In most cases it would just fix itself however, if you are reliant on data always being there - this isn’t the service for you. I would recommend getting a domestic sim instead. The service is fine in all other aspects and works 9 times out of 10. I like the fact I can resell unused data but beware that the connection maybe drop without warning and may not come back until an hour later.
Worked fine in one country and not in another
As you can imagine, a brilliant app to have a data plan whilst traveling with the convenience of an e-sim. Worked wonderfully in Malaysia (part of the 70 countries Dent covers). But unable to get this to work in Australia. Signal bars showing connection but no data. Raised a HelpDesk query, will see if support comes quickly as I’ve purchase 3gb of data which I can’t use currently. Continuation Day 2 26/09: Hi Dent Support, I’m not sure what the resolution is and am on day 2 on my holidays without internet / roaming access having spent $27.50 USD on a 3GB package which I can’t use. And will be resorting to buying a local carrier. I would like to escalate this and get a refund as this is not acceptable. The problem is clearly a configuration issue and have asked if you can provide me with the correct APN - access point network name and if that doesn’t work please refund. As pointless continuing. The level 1 support should know more information then a reset check and restart or have a better guide on the issues encountered. Guess what I work in IT and operations so am surprised if the lack of information on the website. This sounds like a very small outfit with lack of resources, selling a global solution. Just not acceptable.
Worked well in Canada
This service worked well in Canada while visiting Montreal, Quebec City and surrounding areas. I was skeptical due to the low cost but the only issue I had is that a few social type websites would not load due to being blocked.

Love the idea, but not quite there yet
I love the principle of this app. For me being able to sell my unused data for Dent tokens to someone elsewhere in the world that is need of some is genius. I can also see the advantage towards buying some when abroad rather than paying high data roaming charges. However that being said the app just doesn’t work for me right now. I seem to only be able to buy data within the US and Mexico (perhaps this is because my carrier hasn’t signed up for the service or it’s not supported in the UK yet and therefore my UX might be different if I lived in one of those countries) and I’m only able to buy data off of an existing contact in my address book. I’m also unable to sell anything which would be my main goal using this app as I have usually 10-15GB of my data allowance unused each month. This app would work so much better if it connected me with strangers who are trying to buy or sell data for Dent tokens otherwise it seems too limited - I’m unlikely to know which of my friends needs to buy data at any given time. Also there is no way of transferring Dent off the app to another cryptocurrency wallet which could be a huge barrier to mass adoption. I hope Dent fix these problems as this would make the app amazing, and I would happily change my rating if the app worked for everyone.
