Great help
Great for identifying plants especially when sprung up unexpectedly in the garden.
Misserabel
Sehr schlecht!!
Very helpful
Mostly accurate with ground species. Tricky with trees as often can't get near enough to leaves, but several still identified fine. Easy to use!
Flora Incognita
Ofta felaktig artbestämning
Macht Freude
World-opening
An amazing world-opening app that I wish I’d got sooner!
Hmmmm
Unknown flowers
Very good at giving descriptions
Floral Incognita is a great app if you live outside of the United States.
Floral Incognita is a great app if you live outside of the United States. However for those of us in the U.S., the descriptions often do not apply to us. For example, plants such as Lesser Celandine do not have anything in the description about how extraordinarily invasive this plant is in the U.S. All of the plants on the Invasive List in my state have absolutely nothing negative described about them, simply because this app is based out of Germany, and those plants may not be invasive there.
Accurate
23 years ago I planted some saguaro cactus seeds from Arizona the cacti are now 15 cm high the app identified it immediately
Helt värdelös
Internetanslutning klickar big time! Rätta till detta innan den lanseras.
A really good app

Handy way to resolve disputes!
So useful when out walking and the (almost) inevitable argument starts about the names of plants encountered en route. Our rural rambles are much more enjoyable as a result!
Nur bedingt zufrieden
Findet nicht alle Pflanzen und Blumen. Meine Aufnahmen diverser Bäume vom Febr. - August 2025 sind nicht mehr vorhanden. Nur noch die dazugehörende Info. Warum ist das so?
Brill
I’m in awe of this app - I love it❗️❗️
Katastrophe
⭐️ war mal Super
Very useful
It’s not perfect with some of the rarer plants found in older houses we’re plant hunters have traveled the world to find them, but great for every thing else.
Instant identification
No messing about! A very speedy result, I admit to some cynicism beforehand as to ease of use
Used to be my favoutapp
I don’t know what’s happened to this app. What ever it is has been a disaster. The app now return nothing useful. Is it broken? Do I need to pay? Avoid. I’m writing this as I prepare to delete this app for good.
Incognita review
Pretty good but can give more than one answer depending on angle of photos. overall a great asset
Nie intuicyjna
Brak szybkiego dodania obserwowanej rośliny
Pflanzenerkennung
Leider gibt es keine genaue Anleitung dazu! Wo finde ich diese ! Vielen Dank für die Info!
Easy to use for simpletons like me
I’m a very novice gardener but I’m loving learning the names of plants through this app!
login problems

Funktioniert
Funktioniert überraschend gut.
Manqué d’infos
Il faudrait répertorier plante médicinales, plantes rare, plantes d’intérieur / extérieur
Not great but can be helpful
I live in Cornwall, UK. Many of the plants that grow here are local species and this app is not very helpful for those. It gives the option to add your own id, but then dumps you and there doesn’t seem to be a way of saving your id or correcting errors, eg a flower mis identified by the app as a fruit. Many of the common names provided are not those used in the UK, though the id is accurate. The app doesn’t work where there is no signal - a common problem in my area, and it would be helpful if you could take a photo in the app and id it later when signal is restored. So overall the app has its uses but can be frustrating.
Flora
Excellent
Nicht sehr gut
Erkennt fast keine Pflanzen. Raritäten schon gar nicht.
Excellent
This app is excellent and incredibly accurate. Plus, they never ever say to sell you something and truly free. Plus you can contribute to grow the knowledge database.
Hidden gem
I was using another paid app but it became too expensive. So I tried this in my wildflower meadow garden and it seems to be pretty accurate and is fun to use.
Poor
If you’re not careful, your observations will be deleted without your approval
New user
Just started using and it has identified a number of species that I had photographed and couldn’t identify from books. Brilliant
A bit confusing
I don’t know whether it’s my problem or the layout of the website, but I have some difficulty using it. I find that sometimes a plant which should be easy to identify is strongly misidentified with this app. I plan to keep struggling a little longer to see if I can figure it out before giving up on it.
Great free app
Highly recommended
Trying to identify
I find this apps difficult to understand
Review of first use of application
A joy to use. However it is hopeless on many compositae perhaps not surprising. Could you make an adjustment to the software to enable batch loading of images from the photo library on the phone? c cheers laurence
Euro-centric
I haven't used this app much, mainly because it is suitable only for the UK and Europe, including lists of species, distribution, etc. I'm sure it's as wonderful as it has been reviewed, but it isn't useful for me, here in North America.
Functional and free
Seems to work well . No hidden subscription demands so far.
Crashes
This app froze and locked up my phone as soon as I downloaded and opened this app. I restarted my phone and the app lags and catches and freezes and glitches out. It also can’t identify plants correctly. For the moment when it actually tried to work properly it completely had no idea the correct plant name of house plant I tried to test it on. I deleted this app indefinitely. Boo
Good Plant Identification
I love this app as I’m always wanting to know what a plant is called being a gardener. You need to know the names of plants in your garden too so you can check how to care for them. I also use it to get info on how to care for my unusual indoor plants.
Testo tagliato
Comunque velocissima l’identificazione, grazie.
