Terrible
Terrible service from doctors and customer service. My lab results got lost 3 times and no one was of any help. They make you run around in circles and at the end of the day still could not help. After begging them to keep checking for two months, they finally found it and by then the blood work was “outdated” and i was told to go a 4th time, I simply deleted this app. I started a prescription and was never able to continue it due to all these issues it was such a waste of time, I don’t think they care about the urgency when you run out of pills. The doctor refuses to communicate and ends the consultation before I can even get a single message in. Do not recommend to anyone.
Quality Service
I’ve used Maple a few times now. The wait periods can be a little long, but that is not a detriment to the service that more speaks to the amount of people using it in terms of the service itself. I think Maple provides an excellent platform and I have no notes well done.
Good, not great
I needed a prescription and a note for work. Was granted both, however the note never showed up.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I had a great experience using Maple for my father’s medical care while he was visiting Canada. The app was very easy to use, and getting connected with a healthcare professional was quick and convenient. I especially appreciated how fast the process was and how much more affordable it was compared with other options for medical care. It made the whole experience much less stressful, especially when taking care of a visiting family member. I would definitely recommend Maple to anyone looking for convenient, fast, and affordable medical care in Canada.
So disappointed
In other times Maple has been truly lifesaving. However, this time I spoke to a nurse practitioner and he stated he couldn’t prescribe or do anything for bronchitis/walking pneumonia… last year (feb 2025) I literally got treatment for this on maple … I don’t know what changed …. Feeling so disappointed 😢

Great concept, poor execution
Disappointing experience overall. The service has potential but there are too many frustrating limitations: Limited doctor availability — there is often only one doctor listed and they are never available, leaving you with no real choice. Prescriptions are locked within the app — you cannot print them or take them to a pharmacy of your choice. You are forced to order medication through their system only, which feels restrictive and overpriced. And when you do get a consultation, the quality can be lacking — I was initially told to go home and seek treatment in my home country despite having a paid subscription. Immigration status should never be a reason to dismiss a paying customer. The concept is great but the execution needs serious improvement.

Cant even make an account. Cant event my last name on the registration page. Totally useless.
Good app but useless
The app itself is good. Works well. Short wait time but absolutely useless medical advice since they basically tell you to go get seen in person and can not refer you to a specialist
Efficient care
I was able to speak to a doctor and get a prescription under five minutes. Save me a lot of time and inconvenience for a minor health topic.
Frustrating
I would love to review this but the constant “your health card number is wrong” just caused me to give up. You can’t do anything without that and their system is clearly not working properly. I hope our government isn’t paying too much for this app.

Had a great experience for the most part! But very frustrating when you need a mental health help they just message you saying they can’t help….:(

I took the time to give a bad review previously. Then the company reached out, wanting to address the horrific “care” I received from a nurse practitioner. I then took the time to reach out and they did absolutely nothing to make it better. Absolutely horrible medical professionals. Horrible!

Wow! What a game changer for Canadians
Save your time and money!
I have used this app many times over the last year as our small town lost their doctors and I’m without a medical provider. I was fairly happy with the app. Until the last couple consults. They were HORRENDOUS! The “doctor” must have been doing 1000 other things. I finally ended the call after waiting for a reply for over 10 minutes. Then the next nurse practitioner I got, thought she knew more than all the other thyroid doctors I’ve had over the last 30 years. I have no thyroid and she was insisting I change meds. No! I will die without sufficient thyroid hormones. She insisted she was correct over my cancer doctor (which released me because I was finally NED!)! WORST experience and I no longer trust the professionals in this app.

The New App Con
For a country that has “free” healthcare, at $85/month this is unbelievable, even in a fictional world. So to understand this, I pay a touch over $1000 a year to get a blood test to get a perception that’s in the tens of dollars. I do the admin work, you claim you’ve provided a service and actually done very little for that $1000. I’m pretty sure I still pay taxes that cover medical cost in that “free” part too. How do I claim back the tax dollars I’ve wasted on you creating this app. FOCUS ON PROVIDING MEDICAL SERVICES not mobile app services. Honestly. What are you doing?
Super convenient
I have virtual care as a benefit to my insurance policy and it's been very handy - no need for ER visits and waiting for things that are not extreme but require a prescription or advise. The app works great!

This app is fantastic. Has saved me so much time and aggravation in regards to my medical care the online doctors are efficient and the speed in which you can conduct your treatment is fantastic. Highly recommend this app.
Avoid
Instead of a call with a doctor, a chat with you never know what. I haven’t seen a pfoof I talked to a human. Also useless advices and inability to issue a note
