Bugged
Recent update causing game to freeze at launch - some notification about a mob named “Frost” and now I can’t interact with game or menus at all. Was pretty fun though before it stopped working.
Where did the speed button go?
Played this game years ago but stopped because my old phone couldn’t handle it. Started over again for fun, but there is no 2x and 4x speed button?? Battles are way to slow.
Alternate quests for holiday
Since the recent update, the alternate quests haven’t been showing up. It was fine until then. Now, there are no more alternate quests to play and earn thr green mistral. Also the game freezes at times and unless I restart my iPad, it never unfreezes.

Could be good but…
I have played this game for 3 years now and still am yet to get any characters to their max level. That is just ridiculous!!!! The creators of this game are to money hungry. NONE of the paid perks are worth it at all (I have spent quite a bit of money to know this) and when you do get things in-game it’s so minimal you won’t even notice a difference in gameplay. At this point I truly wish I never came across this game and feel like I wasted my life playing it. I hope this reaches others so they don’t have the displeasure I currently feel. And yeah I know why did I play for 3 years? I’ve asked myself the same thing for the last month and today I finally realized I should have quite years ago, and am now. I guess I hoped things changed as the game could be good but….
Treasure Hunts
Been playing Solgard for YEARS now and if I change one thing it would be the treasure hunts. I would make them like a boss battle and fight to the death without limiting the amount of turns. It’s disappointing for it to get harder and harder the more of them you win and still have the same number of moves so it’s like two factions against you at the same time and doesn’t make it really appealing to want to keep playing them.
Game crashes
After updating to a newer version my game suddenly crashes. Please fix I’ve grind so hard to get where I’m at.

I've played this game from day 1
I've played this game since day one. Played for 3 years and progressed quite nicely without EVER spending a dime. You have the campaign but many more options to battle that requires no energy at all. There is Treasure Caves, Hero Arena, Hero Challenge, Bounty's. Join a guild and you have Dungeons to play daily and Guild clash over the weekend. I did start to purchase the Season Quest line pass for more quests and 1000x better rewards, 9.99 for 2 months. I open 10x grand chest every season. As your Embla level increases, so do your spells and rewards you get. So as you grow, your team has the ability to level up quicker. It took me 3 years to max out my commons and rares. 3.5 years to max out all epics. I am nowhere near maxing out all of my legendary or mythical creatures and still have not unlocked all mythicals at Embla level 49. Max is 50. I just made it into a top 20 guild 6 months ago and it's been a ride I don't want to get off. It's not about HAVING maxed out characters, most of my guild members have mythicals maxed out, they get taken out in one sweep all the time in guild clash by characters way lower than there's. it's about using specific characters to combat the characters on the board. My advice to new players, take your time when you start out. Learn what each character does and their ability. (This is the hardest thing to remember so learn from day one. many times NOT using your best characters will result in a win, it's how you place the characters that count. Download now!

Would love to give 5 stars BUUUUUUT…
I’ve been playing this game off and on for years. I love this game and hate it at the same time. There’s A LOT to do on here so it can keep you busy and entertained for hours (plus and minus to that reason alone). My main “hate” reasons are the immense difficulty in getting a mythical creature. Like, ever. Unless you’re Mr. Worldwide and ready to drop some SERIOUS $ to play “lottery” on special chests. That’s the only way my husband got his (out of embarrassment for how much I won’t say it here but it’s at least 3 months of groceries for some families). I’ve spent my fair share on here and I’ve NEVER received a mythical creature. Ever. In the YEARS I’ve been playing. It makes it incredibly disappointing as there’s certain things you can’t play or achieve without them. I believe one day I might get one but every day hasn’t been THAT day and I feel like the woman on TITANIC “It’s been 84 years…” Another is that it becomes increasingly difficult to level up whatever teams you do have. Which, in turn, means that you won’t be able to pass certain levels WITHOUT leveling up your team. So there will be times where you’re in a stalemate until you get better characters (who knows when that will be) or you can level up (again who knows when that will be). The good news is that there are always different areas to play in to build up “coins” or tokens to eventually buy better things. Overall when you’re first starting out it’s very exciting and fun and if you DO drop some $ and happen to get a mythical on a pull congratulations because it’s incredibly rare. If you’re wanting a game that will keep you busy for hours this is definitely it.
Game is stacked against you
The game is fun up to point, but the more I play this game, I’m realizing the Hero Arena vs. competition is not random. The computer generated opponent consistently generates creatures while your draw is mediocre. You’re forced to spend crystals to swap opponents to match power levels. And when you’re evenly matched in power level and lose 5 to 10 in a row (sometimes on first turn), it’s outrageous. The goal is to keep you spending to get crystals and improve your odds, but it likely won’t work unless you’re spending big bucks to improve your team. Just play for fun and don’t expect too much I guess.

My husband and I play this game together and it’s fun being on the same team and able to help out. I’d highly recommend this game to all.
Sound
This game’s sound effects are HORRENDOUS. It sounds like somebody is trying to play every sound effect and track on a game soundtrack at once from the second you boot the game. I hope it is a glitch, but there is no excuse for a game launching like this, f2p or not.
Been playing awhile now…
It’s not the worst game but neither the best either. Those chests keep me coming back for more. It does get kind of tedious and monotonous but the characters are fun and the artwork is amazing most of all it is still free. No ads unless you choose to watch one for loot. Very rare trait these days.
Fun but horribly buggy
I enjoyed this game but my god does it crash - mid level, mid menu, end of level, loading up - complete pain. I would have enjoyed this but can’t put up with the frustration.

Idk what is going on, but since the update today my game has been crashing as soon as I tap to do something after starting a battle in half of the features and wasting my energy/tries at different events…
Problem
I have a problem with the game. It’s telling me to click on hero challenge but it won’t let me scroll down to hero challenge so I’m effectively stuck and can’t progress in the game. Please help me I tried deleting the game but that didn’t work either I require technical assistance
Sound problems
Please fix the bug that makes the sound stutter constantly. It makes you not even want to listen anymore.
Match game with a difference
Edit: whilst I still love the mechanics of the game I've hit a point fairly quickly where the many, many (like so many) ways of improving your creatures has become confusing and impossible to get to grips with - I need multiple types of dust and gems, keys, gold, diamonds and all manner of stuff to make my team stronger - the only way I can see to do this is to take them up on their generous offer to spend £5 + on chests and 'special offers' - don't get me wrong I'd be willing to pay good money for this game, up front and transparently. I'm not willing to buy into all this micro transaction bs when I can't even work out what it'll improve.... I'm afraid my rating has slashed itself to a 2. This is a fun take on a matching game - combine coloured monsters to attack your enemy - great turn based strategy with a story!
Very good game but…
Love the gameplay and graphics, but there’s a glitch early in the game. After I earned my first quest, I can’t claim it. I keep pressing the claim button or pressing and holding the claim button and nothing happens. I don’t know if I’m am doing anything wrong. Big disappointment.

I love this game, but…
This game is different than any game out there. Very engaging. I did spend money trying to get better characters. That’s not why I gave the one star rating. I gave it because in the settings I was trying to set things up so I could play in hero battles and I lost everything I had played hours to get. I wrote to technical support and never heard back. I would be very careful about choosing to play this game. Also, the game cheats. In many ways.
I’ve started playing it again
Credit where credit’s due, the developers have made a massive improvement to the economic system within the game which actually gives a sense of achievement every day and make’s it one of the few games that feels like it actually is free to play. Well worth playing with plenty to do, congratulations Snowprint! It’s really helpful to join an established family of guilds, they tend to communicate and provide help via platforms like Discord, this can be invaluable especially when starting out and improving your creatures.
Another P2W At Best
Played a fair share of these type of free to download games and this has to be one of the worst for progression. Simply put, if not prepared to actually shell out a large sum of cash, a week is about as long and as far a free player can go unless have the will to carry on replaying what little same old available to low tier players over and over and over again for some measly rewards for months to be able to move forward a few inches. If looking for a free game to play for a few days it’s not bad at all. But it gets to the point of pay up, put up, or give up very quickly.

Never gets old
It’s so weird to say this about a casual mobile game, but this game changed my life. I’ve been playing it every day for almost three years. The guild battle (dungeon) mode led me eventually to a Discord community (Reddit United) of friends I talk to daily. They’re all over the world and I know many of them better than my own coworkers and family. I also joined the Facebook group which is run by a brilliant and hilarious community manager. And that, in turn, led me to become part of the beta testing group for the past two years. I’ve worked in game development for 11 years. Through the transparency, patience and generosity of the Snowprint devs I have learned more about game design through this beta testing group than I ever have in school or as an actual game developer. They have a deep desire to make the game their players want, and spend many hours every week engaging with us beta testers as player advocates. For my part I don’t have much to ask them for. I love the game. It gives me a mental bubble to think and problem solve. That helps me in both work and personal situations. And I cannot remember life without the tight knit group of friends I’ve made in my beta testing group and in my Discord server. It’s great to have a community of like minded people to discuss interesting topics with day or night. This game gives so much more than it takes.
No support
I played this game for years, spent some money, grinded for the best creatures. Loved it. Bought a new phone, using the same Game Center profile I could not get my game to transfer. I sent a message to the devs for help, with screenshots from both phones. No response from them after a few weeks. Years of my time down the drain and money in the trash. Thanks for not taking care of loyal players that spend cash on your game.
Update crashes
Love the game and play daily. Latest update crashes every load. Have tried shutting down my iOS. No luck. Hope you can fix it soon.
Crashing
It started as a fun game and a new take on the candy crush saga, mixed with Clash Royal, giving this a fantasy genre with epic heroes to collect. However, it soon becomes a ‘pay to win’ game, which is a shame. Most annoying however are the endless crashes mid game, where the sound crackles and the game freezes before totally crashing. Initial interest is starting to vane with all these factors.
Game is fun, but RNG is garbage
I enjoy playing the game, but you reach a point in levels in the campaign where it has nothing to do with your unit placement and strategy, but rather the RNG of getting the units to drop in convenient places to accomplish the mission

Highly repetitive game play, constant prompting for buying their tokens, and on “mirmir’s well”, where you watch advertisements to get game tokens, rarely ever gives the viewer credit for advertisements watched. May be asking Apple support on this, as they’re definitely bilking the player constantly and shamelessly.

Great game buggy
I love this game. Concept, character design and execution. However, two glaring issues; I can’t minimize without the game restarting. Also been force closing more and more. Double infuriating cause I automatically lose the battle every time that happens. Everything is up to date in terms of software for both iOS and game and I’ve reinstalled several times as well.

Bounty system broke after update
Boy is this app going to “money grab” status quickly…been playing since basically the beginning…Bounty system is currently broke…get to mob bosses and then program force quits…AI gets match after match and just where it needs them almost every time…ridiculous level scaling from one level to next…it literally will go from level 5-6 AI competition to like 11-12 so you CANT win unless you spend spend spend. Game is a cash grab 100% now

Baffling update
Loved the game. Now have no idea what’s been done in the update and what I want to upgrade or why? Help centre remains silent on new changes. What is a rune? Where are mythical creatures? Just why?
Constant pop ups
Started playing this game at the very beginning. Absolutely love the strategic gameplay that you can do at your own pace. The characters are fun and colourful and add a lot of customisation to your teams. There are enough game modes for you to have a bit of variance in your tactics. This could easily have been my go-to game on my phone. The only thing that stops me playing now are the constant pop ups between rounds. It’s all about things for sale in-game but it’s so disruptive. Logged on again today for the first time in a while and didn’t even get to go into a round without having to close 3 or 4 pop ups about limited time offers. Gave up and deleted the App now. I don’t mind spending some cash of purchases to support free to play games. I don’t want to be constantly pushed for it though without even getting some rounds in first. I hope they pull back on the pop ups at some point as I’d definitely play again if they did. Could easily give 5 stars.

App Crashes During Battles - Lost Game Play
New review, the app constantly crashes. Multiple players within my guild are experiencing the same issue on various android and iPhone devices. In the guild clashes, I have lost two teams this morning due to the app crashing after starting the match. What is the point of playing this game when you literally cannot play it. I think it’s time to cut and run on this game, take the L, move on to something new. Do not recommend if you want to play a game that works.
