Scammers on mirchi
There are scammers on Mirchi one half Chinese and Filipino women called Ellen who will scam u on a fake platform form called Qeabit and show u made a lot of money by a fake trading portal She will introduce u to her aunt who is a fake Hedy matterson a fake financial advisor beware !!!!
Banned for no reason; horrible customer service
I was banned a few days after launching my account. I tried to appeal a couple times and have gotten no response. I’ve not done anything to violate the terms and conditions and no one is responding. Do not recommend using an app that doesn’t care for their user experience or answer questions.
Glitchy
Love the app and it’s better than the other south Asian dating apps that exist but only negative is it gets glitchy and freezes up at random times

I think this app would be so great if it wasn’t so glitchy! I tried to login a few days ago and I can’t even access my profile any longer when I try to enter my number to login and it still hasn’t been fixed :((
Good app, some bugs but overall worth it
Happy with my experience using Mirchi. I paid for the premium version and it is well worth it. There are some bugs and glitches in the app but nothing that significantly impacts the user experience.

I met my current girlfriend on there. I see why she was on the app now. I can see why no one wanted her. if you wanna find people like her where you have to spend the rest of your life doing their work then download the app. also its super glitchy and doesnt show when messages appear. i still love her tho 😞 - i didnt write this. avoid app in all cause

Dominated by bots
not sure where all these profiles came from on here, but there’s a matches with no conversation….. It’s clear these profiles are mostly bots or sign ups that were done for the sake of showing user counts but there’s no actual interaction here. I had some high hopes for this app unfortunately it was a letdown. I’m open updating this review pending that someone from their support team reaches out to me and can actually just make sure my profile is setup correctly .
It’s alright
The app is pretty glitchy but you can still match and talk to people. The pricing is awful, way to expensive. I tried the top tier subscription for one month and if you like a profile from the active tab, it doesn’t do anything. It should put you in the front of their queue, but it actually doesn’t and the like you sent doesn’t persist if you reopen the app so liking non-dead profiles is a scam. You still get unlimited likes on the normal page and that seems to work fine.

What’s the point of having a distance filter if it doesn’t work. This app is less terrible than Dil Mil but still needs work.

Broke after update
Since the redesign, the app performs terribly on my iPhone 14. It’s jittery, lags on simple actions, and no longer feels smooth at all. The update came at the cost of basic usability, and it really needs a performance fix.
DO NOT DOWNLOAD: FULL OF SCAMMERS
My experience on Michi was alarming as my photos were used without my permission to talk to other people which is not surprising since there is no profile verification on the app.

Ever since the app updated, I've noticed a large influx of fake or bot-like profiles
