This is an excellent app; all the flexibility and usefulness of Apple's Notes, and more. Plus's, the icon is easy to find on the bottom of the screen.
Doesn’t work well
It is unreliable and traps your files in the apps’ iCloud. I hate this app sooooooo much because no matter how hard I try it will never NEVER download all the files in the app to my device. Is that REALLY SO MUCH TO ASK? Or are you just trapping people in your app? You can SET the app to download all files and then watch it fall all over itself for weeks waiting for stuff to download while other things disappear from the device. I. HATE. THIS. APP.

…die App nicht regelmäßig crashen würde, denn dadurch einfach nicht vertrauenswürdig, um seine Dateien darin zu verwalten. Die Kombination aus Labels und Tags ist ziemlich gelungen, Volltextsuche inkl. Bild-PDF läuft problemlos (was man von Apple Notes leider nicht sagen kann), Zusammenfassungen möglich, die dann auch angezeigt werden, iCloud Sync OHNE dass ein Ordner erstellt wird, sodass man auch wirklich nur per App darauf zugreifen kann und diese sich aber perfekt „als Laufwerk“ in Dateien bzw. Finder integriert! Und sogar Mails lassen sich unter iOS „teilen“ ohne eine PDF erzeugen zu müssen! Und durch Verlinkungen kann man auch Erinnerungen zu Notizen/Dateien erstellen, denn das fehlt innerhalb der App noch. Beobachte die App seit sie unter dem Namen „Together“ online war, aber die Stabilität lässt mich leider immer wieder zögern, da es einfach nervt beim Arbeiten. Bisher lagere ich meine Dokumente bei Captize, seit iOS 17 hat sich aber die Dateien-App gut gemacht, sodass man sich da auch tragfähige Lösungen auf Ordner- und Tag-Basis erstellen kann in Kombination mit Apples lokaler OCR.

Almost perfect, yet totally knee capped by ridiculous limitations. 1) Why can’t you save webpage articles at NOTES?!?! You can only save them as PDF, or Web Archives. As a result you then have to manually go to each saved web-archive and convert it into a note so you can edit it. It’s completely absurd. For this one reason I’ve decided to end my subscription and use something else. 2) There are a number of bugs on MacOS, and extremely limited functionality in iOS. 3) no matter how many times I change the default font size for notes, when I open a new note and start typing the text is incredibly small.

Simple, better than just file folder or notes
Replaced Evernote for me. Notes, or Files or the Finder don’t have the same simple organization features. For example I can merge multiple files in a few taps. Developer is responsive and the app performs really well through different OS versions.
Gets worse and worse.
It's literally unusable now. It opens to a previously opened item and I'm totally unable to browse my library or view anything even after force quitting the app.

..warum keine Synchronisation über das iCloud Drive? Ich muss zwingend unter Windows auf meine Notizen zugreifen können. So nutzt die sehr schön gemachte App mir leider nichts.

Why offer a Mac app purchase option then only a iOS subscription option. Double dipping. Little frustrating
Awesome app to replace DevonThink and Evernote
I've used the app in the past, and needed text search within PDFs and images and a way to share with other users and access files on both PC and Mac. At the time, Evernote was the obvious choice but Evernote's been struggling for years now. I tried DevonThink for two years at great expense, but the interface was overkill and I had recurring import issues (files would get imported multiple times or not at all). I'm happy to say that Keep It has now replaced both, it searches within files better than the iOS Files app, you can share with other users, and the mobile app is mature enough that I can use that and just email the file to myself if I need to access the notes on a PC for some reason. A few things could be done in less taps (would be nice to have search from the main screen, long press to add tags, stuff like that) but the app performs well. (Sometimes iCloud will get bogged down when messing with a large number of files at once but that's an iCloud issue and usually resolves itself.) Great work and thanks for the continued improvement!!!
Too bad
I have to pass on the Mac version too, since the iOS version cannot be purchased. Garbage subscription only, cannot buy it.
New notes all with TONS of potential!
I’ve used Evernote, OneNote, Apple Notes, Craft Docs, Google Keep, and Notion. Some key features put this way above other similar note taking apps. Well worth the price of admission. I’m impressed! But this is still a very new app and has some flaws you should be aware of. - - Tons of note organization options. Folders, Tags, Bundles, Favorites and Colored Labels! - - The ability to directly add a photo or document to start a new note which reduces friction in your workflow. - - Good Rich text implementation. - - Simple UI and clean layout despite some more advanced features - - Mac App which syncs with iPhone - - Excellent ability to sort/filter your notes in a way I’ve not seen done before called “Saved Search”. This is powerful. However, there are a number of issues that prevent me from replacing my current primary notes app. - - There are syncing issues, specifically connecting to iCloud. The app always feels like it is refreshing in the background and syncing changes seems slow, as if the server is taking a long time. It also constantly displays a syncing progress bar for a hot second. It makes it feel rough around the edges. - - When picking up the app and quickly adding a note, I often don’t know where that note landed. It would be really nice to have an “inbox” for new notes to default into, unless a specific folder is chosen. The notes could be sorted into an appropriate folder from there. I don’t always remember the last folder I was in last. - - There are certain options that should be set as defaults such as iCloud sync and sorting notes by “last modified” but you have to select these options. - - There is a lack of “polish” that can be seen. Some animations are jerky. Things taking a second to load in, the typing cursor slightly hesitating before moving, the search bar popping into view abruptly before it has been asked to join the party. Note: These could be iOS 16 issues because they don’t appear on the Mac version. - - Lastly is a personal nitpick. The app icon looks like it is an app used by teenagers to put makeup filters over their photos. It does not look like a quality note taking app icon. This app is less than 1 year old at the time I’m writing this review. I am very eager to see where the developer Steve Harris takes this app. If the things I mentioned get ironed out, this app should explode with users over the next 2 years.
Not ready for prime time.
My tiny library regularly hangs and/or crashes when opening the app. This makes it incredibly frustrating to use and not worth the money I paid for it.

L’ultima versione del 25 luglio 2022 non funziona più. Finora, facendo copia-incolla su rich text riuscivo a crearmi i files su Keep it a partire da file di Mail, da oggi mi dice che non è possibile avere il preview, ovvero in pratica il file non risulta visibile. Così ovviamente è del tutto inutile… Aspetto una rapida soluzione, perché finora ero soddisfatto.
This App Will Delete Your Notes
I really like the setup of this app, but for the 3rd time now, I’ve come back to the program and it has deleted my note that I’ve typed. Or not saved it. It’s infuriating, especially because this has the best writing interface of any of the note apps that I’ve tried. I know I’m not deleting it by accident, it’s just not saving it, even though I intentionally left the app running in the background so it wouldn’t lose my data. This app is buggy in more ways than that, sometimes it doesn’t respond to clicks and you have to close and reopen menus to make the buttons work. If they can fix the bugs this app will be amazing, but right now I’m going to have to try to find work arounds so for this saving glitch nightmare. Please fix the app, it’s so good otherwise.
Simple feature
Why isn’t there a simple feature such as the ability to set the app to automatically IGNORE text that looks like a spelling error so that I can paste code examples without having it appear cluttered with red squiggly lines. I can’t even properly see the underscore characters in my code because of this annoyance!
Excellent
I have been going back and forth between Keep It and DevonThink to organize files and documents and, for my needs, Keep It has been more than enough. It works very well and I have found many uses for it. For one thing, I keep all of my manuals for everything I own in Keep It and easily search for whatever I need. I find answers immediately. I have begun moving my notes from other apps into Keep I and I label and tag them and they are easily searched. It’s a very well made app that is a pleasure to use. Highly recommended.
Problems with sync
Looks like a nice app, and just what I need. But sync doesn't work reliably for me. I contacted the developer, and was helpful at first, but then stopped replying to me. So I no longer use the app, which is a shame. If you can't rely on items you add syncing reliably then you can't trust it with your data.
Permet un bon workflow
Sans présenter le potentiel de DevonThink mais en rivalisant avec EagleFiler, Keep it permet de bien gérer son workflow tant sur Mac que sur iOS. Tout semble possible avec cette application, soit en natif soit en lien avec d’autres applications (PDFpen, typora, iAWriter…). Quelques bugs peuvent toutefois s’avérer agaçants mais pas rédhibitoires. J’ai lâché DevonThink et EagleFiler qui ne présentent pas pour moi autant d’intuitivité ni de synchronisation et expérience utilisateur sur iPad et iPhone. J’espère ne pas regretter mon choix en pariant sur une meilleure stabilité de l’application à terme.
Poor photo capturing support
Keep It is so close to being an ideal replacement for the now-floundering Evernote. However there are a few things it needs to address before I can rely on it as an Evernote replacement. Right now, my biggest gripe about Keep It is it’s poor photo capture support. I want to use Keep it as a way to catalogue household inventory, and want to just create a single note for each storage box I have, and take photos of every item that is contained in each box. In Evernote, you can just take a series of photos at once, and it will add them all to the note with a single tap of a button. In Keep It, you can only take (or add from the Photo Library) one photo at a time when adding it to a note. You take a photo, then you have to tap the “Use Photo” button, then tap again inside a blank area of the note to add a new photo to the same note. It’s adds so much aggravating friction to the process that I don’t even bother with it anymore, and go back to Evernote for these types of “capture” tasks. I really wish Keep It had a photo “queue” when using the camera, or at least the ability to add multiple selected photos from the Photo Library in a single operation.
Great UI, but photo/ image handling is only 1*star level.
I want to love Keep. I want to stop using notes, reduce my mess in Evernote & switch to Keep. BUT, add an image or screenshot into keep and you can either have it take up 1/2 the page, or reduce it to miniscule size. There is NO image cropping, resizing or anything. It’s simply archaic image handling. If I add a screenshot of something into a note, I don’t need it taking up 1/2 the page when I print the note, or 1/2 the page when I share the note. I am surprised at how rubbish image handling is in Keep. It’s a deal breaker. It’s a huge waste of time being forced to export Keepit notes into other software, just to resize each image or screenshot, just so I can print it sensibly, (or not look like a buffoon when I share a work note with someone else). Deal breaker for note taking with images.
Perfect app
I love this app. It’s simplified my life so much. I’m a writer and I like to clip and save things (pics, videos, articles, quotes) that I come across. This makes all that possible, and then everything is on my MacBook instantly. The only nitpicky thing I would want to see is a way to add a brief note to an uploaded pic or video. Ex. If I’m on the internet and I come across a pic that’s relevant for something I’m writing, I’ll screenshot it and upload it to a Keep It folder. But I’d like to be able to add a quick note along with the image or video so when I look at it later, I’ll remember why I clipped it and what I wanted to do with it. I know there’s tags but that is more of a sorting feature. I need to be able to write a note along with pics and videos. The tags are fine for sorting. But a little note section would be good. And I know you can add pics etc to a note you started, but that’s not helpful if I’m starting with the pic or video from a screenshot. Edited: thank you for the tip! Works perfectly. They force you to pay after 14 days…
I signed up to check this app out as a replacement to Evernote. I composed a few notes and linked a couple of website the first couple of days. I came back to it a couple of weeks late when I had more time and have no access to the notes I created. The only way is to but the premium and it does not matter if you delete the app and reinstall it. I am concerned about an unknown app developer like this who can lock your data without you having any access to it. I understand they need money but give us limited access after 14 days so some of us can make a better informed decision. AVOID and choose an app that has more integrity.
Superb app
I use this as an extremely advanced Files app - it does everything the native Files app does but so much more - I particularly appreciate the tagging, OCR and bundle features. it plays very nicely with the iOS system and adopts all the latest technologies. There’s no owning of your data either, which gives piece of mind. Any document you add to or create in Keep It is accessible at system level through the Files app. The developer is also very responsive - I contacted him regarding a very minor url bug and an update was pushed out within a couple of days. Hard to find anything to gripe about but I wish it were possible to create folders from any screen, rather than the main list only.

Only allowed me to navigate the app for around 10 minutes before it tried to force me to sign up for a subscription after my free trial was over. I don’t like that it forces you to sign up rather than just allow for the free trial to finish THEN ask to pay for subscription if the users want to continue using the app
Good potential, but bugy
I really like the general look and feel of the app. Unfortunately I am experiencing bugs on a regular basis. As an example I am not able to rename an item without crashing the app. Also I did not find a way to easily see which items belongs to which bundle, when I am in the „All Items“ list. Happy to check the app out again in a few weeks, but at the moment I will switch to something else.

I really think this app is awesome I have it in the mac and the iPhone. I like to save things for offline The search is great. I can search for a word and it will find it and even highlight the word. It even can find searched words on a PDF file. I mainly save web pages from safari using the share button and save for offline use. You can also add files and can make notes too I created folders and bundles within the folders. Basically a bundle is like a subfolder. By the way the sync has been flawless. It syncs perfectly between my iPhone and Mac. I am very happy with this app and after the 2 week trial I intend to pay for a year subscription for both the iPhone and Mac. It also works on the iPad too but I am waiting for the new iPad with the mini LED and then I will use this app with that.
Default config shows all files in all subdirs..
On Mac. That is very frustrating. Secondly, does not import notes from versions <3. Regret buying the new version (~$50$) and revert to Together2..
Great app but...
This app works great. One thing that I need it to do though is to be able to create and edit tab;Ed like the desktop version.
Trust Broken
App recently locked me out and wouldn't let me access the content saying I hadn't puchased it. Before hearing back from the developer I found a copy of the files in ~/Library/Group Containers/*.com.reinvented.KeepIt/. Apple provided no useful support. After several days of being locked out the developer responded and said to delete the app and re-install it. Having an app refuse to allow me access to my own data was a big wake up call. For now I've cancelled my iOS subscription and am questioning whether I should use this app. Developer blames Apple, Apple blames developer. Regardless Developer chose to design IAP in a way that can fail at the expense of the user and has expressed zero empathy for the panic caused or the time spent figuring out a workaround.
Funktionsriese aber Stabilitätszwerg
Ich habe bislang wirklich viele wenn nicht sogar alle Notiz-Apps testen können. Keep-It kommt im Vergleich meinem Wunsch-Notiztool am nächsten. Leider musste ich aber bei den ersten Tests schon sehr viele Crashes feststellen. - Beim Löschen einer Notiz - Beim Snychronisieren - Beim Bearbeiten Auch gibts es noch viele kleine Bugs, welche für sich nicht schlimm sind, aber in Gänze leider sehr nervig sind und das gewünschte fokussierte Arbeiten nicht ermöglichen. Das ist schade.
Best way to keep your stuff
I use it mostly for document filing , but I’ve got recipes in it too. Apple notes has some added tricks like Siri, but Keep It is a complete solution.
Crashes nonstop
This app is extremely unstable. It crashes so often that it is unusable. It also will not sync with the desktop app. I am a very experienced programmer and this app is simply terrible.
Love this app but please add geolocation support!
I would give this app 5 stars except for the fact that it does not store geolocation data with entries or allow searching for entries by geo. I submitted a request to the developer for this ojas well. Geotags are an essential feature for me and supported in apps like Evernote, DayOne, Drafts. Please, please add this feature!
It’s undoubted abilities overshadowed by instability
There’s a lot of good things to say about KeepIt. I had a large magazine collection I was scanning and I wanted to be able to import those into an app and be able to use the OCR and reference search terms. The OCR is incredibly quick and the functionality is exactly what I was looking for, however the experience is devalued by the ever-regular crashes I suffer while performing searches, clicking through search terms etc. Having just spent around 20 minutes in the app I suffered perhaps 10 crashes. Now perhaps this is a memory issue as the overall size of my scan collection from my iCloud Drive is 50gb, but I do have the newest iPad Pro and have read nothing about any sort of theoretical size ceiling on indexed files. So great potential and all, but I’ll be keeping my eye open for a more stable alternative.
Sync issues make it hard to recommend
This is a good alternative to the default Notes app in a couple of ways. It gives you more control over how you organize your notes because you can use tags and group items into bundles without removing them from their primary folders. On desktop, you can access your files directly so there’s no fear of lock-in. HOWEVER, and I always wonder whether this is a developer issue or just an innate flaw of iCloud, there are still syncing issues! I currently have two versions of the same note, an old version on my iPad and a new version on my iPhone, and they won’t sync up. I’m worried that I’m going to lose my new edits if at some point they decide to finally collapse into a single version. And now I’m worried that I’ve lost other edits in the past that I just didn’t notice at the time. 😢 I switched to this app because of some really bad syncing experiences I had with Notes earlier this year. The one thing I absolutely need from a note app is to see the same version of my content in all places, and Keep It isn’t doing this. So although I like this app otherwise, I can’t justify recommending the paid version because it seems to have the same flaw as Notes.
Very useful collector’s app
This is an underrated and useful app for collecting images, links, and other items from around the web. I like that you can organize with labels, bundles, and tags. You can build custom searches and save them as well.
Pay every month for this app
Really stupid to have to pay for the every month for the rest of my life. Get a job if you want a salary.
Simple and Powerful
A great app, getting better all the time, I will add the 5th star when I can email stuff into Keep It. It holds all my personal records, home warranties, receipts, manuals, medical records and the like. It's easy and fast to retrieve and share any info.
Very Buggy
In general, it is a pretty good app if you are only using the happy path. With a subscription is required to use this app, I would expect a more frequent update to fix bugs. The most not acceptable is any kind of batch note management is buggy. Any actions that related to more than 1 note are very buggy. I deleted hundreds of notes (out of 1000+) w/o notice because of the bugs.

As good as can be for what it does
I’ve been using both the MacOS and iOS versions of this app for over a year and a half and it has been a great resource. I work primarily with texts, usually pdfs under 15 pages long and it is a breeze to get information classified, and then into and out of the app as needed. I use it for source references in my work and to store some boilerplate for text that I have to reuse (and improve!). It’s not a database designed to hold giant libraries like DevonThink, but it’s easier to learn and work with. It doesn’t let you show visual links between ideas like a mind-mapper, but it has a fine tagging and searching function so you can pull things together very easily. It also has a hyperactive and hypervigilant developer who is very responsive to support requests and seems to update the app every 90 minutes (well, a couple times a month). I had some sync problems when I first started to use the app after mass-migrating notes from Evernote (there’s a solid protocol for this), but that resolved very quickly with a little help from the developer and things have been fine since. I’m as happy as can be with this app and can’t think of another one that does what this one does better. In fact, I can’t even think of another one as good.
Sync issues
I really want to use this, but 10% of the time it either fails to upload new data to iCloud, resulting in devices out of sync, or I type something only to have it repeatedly wiped as it downloads the previous state of the note rather than uploading the new edits.

Frustrated With Subscription
I keep trying to give this app a try but the subscription model is very frustrating; $9.99 per here for mobile is not bad but then another $19.99 per year for the desktop version? I am all for developers to make money, especially since this app gets updates regularly. But $30 in total to be able to use it across mobile and desktop is a bit much. Even if I pay the full price for the desktop version I still can’t use the mobile version unless I pay the subscription. All these subscription models across the applications sooner or later users will stop wanting to use good applications. Maybe one day I’ll return to this app.
App valida, ma la sincronizzazione senza Wi-Fi non funziona
Come da titolo. Si blocca quando deve recuperare i dati da iCloud e non sincronizza ho appunti presi da iPad senza connessione wireless.
