Yes!!! No duh!
I'm a dev. I know clipboard management, db juggling, caches, tmp~, etc. (no pun)...Which is why I'm so glad Gladys exists. A gem as fundamental as hydrogen.
Doesn’t work with GoodNotes anymore

Tough to evaluate
Only holds 10 things at a time before in app purchase is required. I just went back to using Notes.
Meep in Gladys not working
the extension keep in gladys is not working in my iphone with ios 16 . Once pressed the button it opens a window asking the label and name (Note & Labels) but after nothing is shown in the app, there is just a new Zero KB entry. this is valid for every type of export or selection, text or images
So darn handy
The more devices you have, the more indispensable this app becomes. I love it.

Very useful app, but more labels would be useful (limited to 10, it seems).
Not useful for everything
Maybe I’m confused. Many web pages I save to Gladys don’t open. All I get is some info tag that means nothing to me.

iCloud sync toggle not working
App is great except the iCloud toggle doesn't work. Keeps saying device isn't logged in to iCloud when it clearly is.

Security zbug
Pinching out on a locked item will show that item rather than presenting a password prompt.
Too Complicated
Unless you are a "blackbelt" techie this app will not be what you think. All I have been able to do is get binary code for anything I have tried to save. If you want to see a table of code then this may work for you. I wanted to see the item/text/photo/anything I saved... not just a selection of which binary code Gladys saved.

+ sync with a mac - no option to select what types of formating I want to be available. (there are too many now, wish to desect them via settings and not delete them per note manually).
Very Good App BUT change the Icon
This is a brilliant app, but please change the icon. It is awful
Useful app
App is crashing on 16.0.2. Whenever you select and hold a copied item in the app clipboard a context menu pops up. When you select "copy" the app freezes on the context menu. Causes iOS to freeze for a few seconds update 12/20/22 The app functionality is back to normal again. I’m giving it 5 stars again. This app is so useful now that it works again

App is crashing badly
This app is great. However, it is crashing whenever I try to open it to do anything. I can not even keep it open long enough to see if there is a location within the app to contact help support to send request for support.

Open Gladys takes the whole screen, open an app, trying to drag and have Gladys appear, as in the videos...nothing. A trick that’s not obvious to get it to work. Please help
Indispensable application
For someone that feels like Dory from Finding Nemo most days, Gladys is an indispensable part of my memory. Found something cool? It’s in Gladys. Saved that favorite gif? Gladys. Need a helper to truly multitask on phone or iPad? Gladys. Need to get something from one device to another but don’t trust Universal Copy? Gladys. I’ve tried all of the shelf apps, Gladys has been on my Home Screen and Share Sheet for a long time due to its consistent reliability, many apps don’t get my share or paste, Gladys always catches. I’ll be sad when this dev retires, but I’m grateful everyday that they made and released Gladys.
Gladys not working
I really like the idea of this app, and would use it a lot - if I could get it to work. I presume that one keeps Gladys running in the background and then on the web page (for example) that one needs to copy items, merely swipe from right edge to open app. In the absence of any instructions, this is what I do, but without success. Please tell me what I’m doing wrong, and if it works then I’ll award you five stars!
Works well
Sync is rock solid. My 5 star requests are admittedly subjective: a true dark mode for OLED screens and improved icon (or ability to select from differently colored icons—maroon is hideous).

In iOS 16.0.2, so probably not related to copy paste bug.

Surprisingly good app
When I first tried Gladys, I wasn't sure how well it would work because I’m using an iPhone which doesn’t have split screen, so I can’t utilize the drag and drop feature. However, I was pleasantly surprised to learn that this app has features to allow for links to be saved easily, even without drag and drop. This app has some great features. I only have a few suggestions to the developers on some things that can be improved: (1) I wish the keyboard search extension would be more accurate. I love that I can just search for a link based on tags and keywords and then I can share that link with someone else without leaving the messaging app. My only problem with this feature is its accuracy. A lot of the time, it did not find the tags that I had assigned to the links. Sometimes it would find only part of the tag. For example, if I gave a link the tag “happy dog”, Gladys would only find the link when I searched for the word “dog” but it gave me no results if I searched for “happy”. Also, the keyboard search extension would not pick up words that I had entered in the description of the link. If I was searching for links within the app, the search works excellent. It finds tags and even words in the description. (2) My next suggestion has to do with tags. When I try to assign tags to a link, it shows me the 3 recent tags that I’ve used at the top. This is helpful, but I feel that 3 tags are not enough if I’m trying to be specific and I have accumulated a lot of tags. I think there should be at least 5 recent tags displayed. This would make tagging quicker and more effective. (3) There is currently no option to organize by adding folders. I wish I could add folders within folders. Although the tagging feature in Gladys is great, folders provide a different type of organization. They would allow me to have broad topics, as well as sub-topics that fall within them. (4) When I save images in Gladys, these images are not displayed fully. They are cropped and faded. I have to press the “eye icon”, which enlarges the image and allows me to view the entire image instead of only part of it. Doing this takes a little extra time and the process can be made faster if we were able to preview the full image right away instead of having to press the “eye icon” in order to view it. If we wish to zoom in on the image to view a larger version of it, then we can press on the “eye icon”. (5) I like that Gladys allows users to group multiple of their saved links together and share them by email. Although I appreciate that this feature exists, it could use one little improvement. Right now, the links are squished together with no space left in between, making it difficult to look through them. It would help if a row automatically gets skipped between each link in order to create a more readable appearance.
Very handy
Very handy and useful, especially for those Mac users used to saving things to their desktop etc. it honestly feels like this should be a part of iOS natively. Only problem is the icon. Really not attractive. The app UI itself is great, but that icon...
Love it
I use this all the time and have 200+ entries. It’s getting a bit difficult to find occasionally used urls. It would be fantastic if I could put them into folders. I would pay for that option.
Great app Ugly icon
Seriously, love this app. Everything is great.... the only problem I have, and it’s a nit pick..... oh god the icon is so ugly. I hate it staring at me in the dock.... STOP LOOKING AT ME GLADY! I DID NOTHING WRONG! LEAVE ME ALONE!
Add folders please!
Tags are cool, but FOLDERS are much better! I would like to stack some links or documents in the same folder as Yoink app does. Folders are very useful and more simple than tags, please add them 🙏🏻

ORIGINAL: Not sure what the use case is for an external shelf app that doesn’t provide enhanced accessibility to files. You can’t do anything “extra” with this app—old limitations still exist. EDIT: The developer’s response to my original concern is appropriate. I’m probably trying to place square pegs into round holes with my specific use case. Rather than rate the app one star because it doesn’t solve my needs, I am modifying the rating to the app’s current average score to avoid unfairly penalizing the developer.
