Frequently Crashes
After the last update the app crashes a lot. Says it need wifi to work when it’s already on a network.
It’s fine but not lately
App used to at least work reliably but for the last month it’s been logging me out, not letting me log back in, saying I’ve lost internet connection (I haven’t), and generally being a buggy mess. I also don’t understand how they can justify a subscription for ad free for this app. It could literally be a set and forget for the most part. I’d actually probably pay for it if it was a one time payment.
Compression
The compression of the photo uploads is the worst I’ve seen in a long time…
Love it 75% of the time
Love the app when it works, but have to sign out and sign back in to make it update regularly.

Brutal performance since last update
Continually says “no internet” and randomly shuts down during use.
Little clunky
Works pretty well it’s a little clunky, if there are alerts or messages they sometimes don’t clear even though you have clicked and read them like 5 times
Look elsewhere
If you’re a coach, look to other apps. This one is terrible. There are so many great team apps, this is not one. It will log you out constantly, it wont allow you to use password apps to fill in password, and it wont allow biometrics. There are constant annoying ads. It’s not easy to use. Team Snap, GameChanger and others are much better.

Stop wasting your time. It’s just another lousy kid sports app. It’s only purposes to collect your information. Can’t even create a second parent account easily just like the rest of them. Make it easy, we don’t need another job so someone else could have our information

It’s full of ads and it keeps saying that there’s no Internet connection. It’s a bad sports app avoid.

Some improvements I’d like to see - Don’t send out reminders for events I’m not going to - Recompile for native iPad ( it’s not hard ) - When in detail view of a photo, rotating the phone should rotate the picture.

It functions for team messages and information well. But has too many pop up ads. Be happier if maintained functions as is or bit less to reduce needs for More ads

Good Features, Bad Performance
The app has great features but it force closes 8/10. It force closes whenever I try to open the message notifications or when opening the app and trying to access the messages.

Scam adds
Adds are very intrusive and includes adds that look like iPhone messages to trick you into downloading apps. They need to clean this up, not appropriate.
Scareware
The app works well, but I have been noticing a type of malware attached to it lately. I hope the developer can remove this problem

Horrible ads, frequency and type. Notification bugs are persistent. One of the many frustrating team sports apps.
Was good before the update
I really enjoyed the old version of the app but was forced to upgrade eventually and now I just hate how greedy they got in removing previously free features and are trying to push the premium subscription model. If I didn’t have to pay for seeing all my teams schedules in one place in the old app then I don’t want to pay for that now. Also they removed the ability to save photos that are shared through the app. And the desktop version is even worse. So in conclusion, yes it is a good app overall and I still use it but i hate the updates and how they removed the best features even for existing users.

Doesn’t show chat properly
Have lots of trouble to view chats.
Messaging tool doesn’t work
Our team continues to have issues with seeing all messages. Also, composing messages sometimes doesn’t work and you have to go out of the thread and come back in just to compose it. It’s a frustrating app.
Annoying popups
It is very annoying to open the app to quickly check a game time or field and have to scroll through upgrade popups with no way to close out.
Good for games
Good way to check in with my teams and games. Highly recommended for people doing sports and trying to know when games are when.
Frustrating - doesn’t work half the time
Really Missing our old app since we switched. Teamlinkt doesn’t load or work when you need it to, the app just repeatedly shuts down. It has severe delays in updating info in real time which is useless for tournaments when new game times need to be posted for all the different teams. Our admin posts a change that doesn’t get delivered until hours later like the next day last minute. I will have to go into it 5-6 times since it won’t load and shuts down over and over. Our club has wasted so much time and energy on this app. I am done with this app.
Chat issues
Still having chat issues after updates. Spinning circle of death when trying to access the chat after a new message is received. Often have to close program and reopen to get chat to load.
Deceptive spam ads
Hate that they make you pay now to see all your teams in one schedule. I also started getting spam ads to get me to install a device as my memory was full. I thought my phone had been hacked and had a panic attack. Kids are using this app and can be tricked into clicking on things that might be malicious.
Good, but could be better
I like the app overall, but your “set lineup” for each game definitely leaves something to be desired. For floor hockey, there should be an option for 1st line/2nd line, etc. And when you go to save and set the lineup for the game, it completely undos how you previously moved the players in order of lines and positions. I don’t even know why there is a set lineup whenever it doesn’t even save your changes.

Way too many ads. Too many notifications when nothing is actually in the chat or schedule. It’s the worst.

Could be great but half your screen touches lead to ads, and hence a waste of your time when juggling kids sports.
Clunky and average
The app seems good at first, but at every click it feels like there’s an ad hiding ready to pounce, and is generally very clunky to navigate through.

This is a great app to have everything together in one spot… team chats, practice schedules and games. It’s a “game” changer! ☺️
Fake security alerts
The developers need to address the fake security alerts. Every time I use the app, I get prompted by a fake security alert stating that I have viruses on my phone. This is scare tactic advertising, and should be outlawed. This is completely unacceptable for a family use application. VERY poor taste and behaviour by the ownership.
Ads have scammer links beware
The ap itself is great for teams and keeping up with schedules and communications. But it has ads and some of them are tricky and look like part of the ap and are scams that try to steal your credit card info beware of where you click!
Not native
First setup experience not good. The keyboard on account creation is not using the system keyboard properly. (Easy to tell because my system is in dark mode but your keyboard isn’t) What’s problematic is that the password field isn’t coded correctly. So it didn’t trigger iOS password manager integration. So I can’t safely create an account password.
Amazing but please support Amazon Fire HD10!
Love this product but it’s not available or compatible with the Amazon Fire HD10. Even when using the play store the download says not compatible with this device. If I had support in my tablet (which I use constantly for coaching) this would easily be 5 stars. All of the features are amazing from scheduling to chat and pictures and info for your players and parents. Hope to see support for tablet soon.
