Really good app to get a thorough view of astrology and what it could mean to you
Went downhill
It’s not the same anymore. The information isn’t really all that accurate. I’ve noticed nasty little negative undertones to a lot of the readings too.
App is great, BUT….
I use the app a lot for daily guidance and to get clarity on the now and what’s to come. There is an option in the app called "Void". You pay to have specific questions answered. It’s an awesome insight into oneself and prospects to come. However, if you ask your question and it can’t answer it, it will take your money as if it has answered, and I haven’t found a way to get a refund. It’s not a common occurrence but it happens enough that it’s annoying. If the app didn’t steal my money I would give it a 5-star review. I still love the app but the creator should be aware of this and find a way to fix it.

ive had this app on my phone for years and i wanted to try and acquire the ‘saved’ function bc i never was able to use it from the start. i deleted and redownloaded the app, now theres no daily reading under my ‘you’ tab at all -no ability to see reads from previous days… just chart and settings. any other tab besides the home page and chart/settings is there but doesnt work.

Can we please stop using AI? I really love costar but recently learning it uses AI makes me sad. I would love to see costar reinvent itself by stopping its use of AI.

Dos and donts
The app is cute and I enjoy reading it every day, but I’ve had it for less than a month and my dos and donts will sometimes be the exact same as what I had a few days ago. Like completely the same on both sides, even in the same order. More creativity with that would be cool!
Had to delete
I love this app and use it almost every day but now they support AI and have a lot of AI generated astrology messages so I did delete it so sad.

Deleted after a few months
I downloaded this app after a friend shared a few screenshots and the content appeared novel. However, as soon as I updated my information to be gender specific (female) every day the content was about pining after exes, leaving past relationships behind, getting over my inner fear to put myself out into the dating scene, etc. and I don’t mean 3 out of 7 days a week, I mean: Every. Single. Day. My friend (male) continues to get funny, thought provoking content,, while I got so disgusted with the content I was receiving that I deleted the app. I did consider trying to update gender settings to see if I got different content, but decided it wasn’t worth the trouble.
Mega Astrologie App, Ausbau bedarf dennoch!
Die App ist optisch interessant und kreativ aufgebaut und das Beste was man in der Astrologie glaube ich finden kann, aber die täglichen Formulierungen sind oft extrem negativ und auf Dauer emotional belastend. Besonders wenn über Wochen fast nur ‚trouble‘ oder Konflikte angezeigt werden, kann das psychisch ziemlich runterziehen. Etwas ausgewogenere, konstruktivere Formulierungen würden der App deutlich besser tun. Astrologie sollte Orientierung geben und nicht dauerhaft das Gefühl vermitteln, dass überall Probleme lauern.

I used to check my Co-star app after the day was over and it was chillin how accurate the astrology was. Now I subscribe and check in the day before , especially considering where we’re heading in this current trajectory.
can’t delete account
what an interesting bug to have. when you go to delete your account, it never moves forward after you confirm by typing “delete me.” i’ve now tried multiple times over the course of a couple months, but still can’t delete my data. 👀👀
Toll aber gefühlt ein wenig negativ
Tolle App, keine Frage. Schön gemacht und in der kostenfreien Variante gibt es täglich jede Menge persönliche Infos (da persönliches Sternzeichen, Aszendent und Mondzeichen bekannt sind). Trotzdem habe ich das Gefühl, dass die Inhalte tendenziell eher negativ sind und auch nicht gerade optimistisch formuliert sind. Ich lese die verschiedenen Bereiche und bin dann irgendwie negativ „gemindsetet“. Trouble with friends and family, trouble with sex and love - tagelang… z. B. das beeinflusst mich unterbewusst irgendwie negativ. Man kann auch einige Tage in die Vorschau springen und der Trend setzt sich fort, das macht es nicht besser. Daher lösche ich die App wieder, obwohl sie eigentlich total klasse gemacht ist tolle Funktionen hat.

Best astrology app I’ve ever found. It breaks down everything so clearly to understand. Obviously it’s a broad reach so not every message will resonate but it’s pretty on par. I live when they do little joke messages. I’ve used this app for years and it’s truly been great. It’s very accurate.

You can really tell they’ve pivoted away from having actual people write thoughtful things to just churning out nonsensical clap trap. My reading today made neither literal or grammatical sense…

love this app, but i can no longer find the 2026 year resolutions, what you deserve, your 2026 in love etc run down section we got at the start of the year, how can i access this and why is it no longer available??
Far too negative
The compatibility reports are great but I find the normal updates incredibly negative and triggering. I try not to read into it too much but with it constantly telling me what terrible trouble I’m having in my life it doesn’t motivate me it just makes me feel bad! Also I paid extra to ask the questions which is a fun feature but they absolutely destroy your personality! You need to soften the blows, honestly. Find a way to stop it sounding like negative ai slop and help motivate people instead. I’ve stopped using this app and will probably delete soon

I asked the stars / void to write me a powershell function and it can do that too! Didn’t know astrologists had such proficient knowledge in software development 🙏

I really love this app and I have had it for years. But I am so sad that they have “shopified” the whole app. Before you could also buy personal reading. Which I did but now we’re being confronted with it constantly and the daily updates have gotten shorter. I miss the old set-up…

Good But Always Negative
The app is pretty spot on for certain things but it’s always negative. It almost never says anything positive. “stop doing ____” and “try not to do ___” and “don’t do that thing where ___”.

Wishes
I love the app and adore the design. But I wish the designers kept “areas of your life” colourful. I find that it’s not as fun anymore and a bit dull and easy to overlook. Also I would love if you could customise which friends updates you get or if you could see all friends on the “home” page. Otherwise I love it and recommended it to a lot of people!
AI slop
The writing used to be good. Now the obvious AI writing is garbage. Almost every single part of the “areas of your life” section will have readings that have the trademark “it’s not [blank] — it’s [blank]” sign of AI slop writing. I’ve used this app since 2018 and now I’m looking for others.
Downhill since last update
Great app, always loved it. Unfortunately they’ve regressed the UI slightly so ‘day at a glance’ has less info and is harder to parse in general. Thought it was maybe moved to a premium feature, but after paying for premium, the info provided is still less helpful.

the power and appeal of horoscopes is a connection with the world around me and the universe at large. horoscopes generated by a machine completely miss that essential living element. really disappointed, the app was pretty and i loved the look of the widget on my home screen. i just have no use, patience, or space in my life for yet another soulless ai cash grab.
Neue version
Leider mag ich den Aufbau/Ansicht der App seit dem neuen Update nicht. Vorher hatte man ausführlichere Beschreibungen zu dem jeweiligen Tag unter den Aspekten „Spiritualität, Leben etc“ . Und auch mehr Beschreibungen über längere Zeiträume und die Veränderung und wie die Planetkonstellationen da stehen. Außerdem kann man jetzt innerhalb der App Sätze und Wörter nicht mehr kopieren oder übersetzen. Grundsätzlich ist das Englisch gut verstehbar aber einzelne Wörter schlage ich gerne innerhalb der App nach (ging vorher). Ansonsten liebe ich die app :) Liebe Grüße
They removed all analyses
There used to be detailed explanations that briefly described current transits and situations in your life. Now it’s a glorified fortune cookie, with one-line cryptic ideas. You only really have access to your own chart, and the bare bones of your chart. there are plenty of other astrology apps that are way more informative and useful. Sadly, it’s past its prime. Used to be good, now it is a skeleton of what it used to be.
Rising calculator
I’ve had this app for years I absolutely lovveee it, the quotes and everything are great, however it’s not fully accurate on calculating your true rising sign which I’m lowkey up set about because of how much I love this app.
Scary accurate.
Been having this app for five years now. Scary. Accurate. It's showing me updates about friends I haven't talk to in years, AND A FEW HOURS LATER I get a text from them. This happened like four times over the last year. It seems to know who I'm hanging out with also, very weird haha I love this app, I just hope the daily "advices" from it are not AI generated 🙏

This is the worst advice I’ve gotten from an app that arrogantly thinks it knows everything about everyone. Thinks that they know you more than you do. Don’t they know that no one knows anything.

Can’t see full Widget, won’t spend more $
I do like the app, all the features but a huge thing for me is the widgets on the Home Screen- I can’t even read the full sentence because it gets cut off… why hasn’t this been fixed yet? I’m not spending anymore money within the app until this problem is fixed.
