Great game
Game is easy to figure out and overall a great game to play
A formerly great strategy game gone bad
You can find plenty of reviews talking about the update from years ago that reduced the amount of strategic options in the game and turned it into a p2w fest. What most reviews don't mention is that the game is constantly riddled with bugs. A few months ago there was a review that locked numerous players (myself included) out of their accounts for upwards of a month. Support was incredibly slow in responding and many players quit. So this old game that started as a unique entry in mobile card gaming has become less than a shell of its former self and that is disappointing.

Poor support
I have played this game for years and spent quite a bit on in game purchases but due to increasingly poor levels I’m considering leaving the game. An upgrade several weeks left several players unattached from their accounts for weeks with several losing their accounts never to return. In the latest debacle after Halloween event, I’ve been able to use in game shop to collect daily rewards or make purchases. I’m going through support group who has alternated between telling me there is nothing wrong, to wait for the update because that will fix it or delete and reinstall. 16 + days later and no fix. Deleted and reinstalled multiple times and updated. Support is basically ghosting me but that’s it all bad because it keeps me from spending money on their game.

Глючная игра
Самая глючная игра! Вообще программисты не занимаются ей, как только важный бой, все вылетает, игра интересная, но ей вообще не заниматься
Задумка отличная, реализация — нет
На первых порах игра кажется интересной. Есть различные активности, прокачка разных карт, подбор отряда из имеющихся под врага или синергии. Но очень быстро веселье заканчивается — в компании пройти дальше возможности нет, на арене (после 15 ранга) враги с сильными и уникальными картами, которых не переиграть. Ну и остается куковать и как—то делать дейлики, чтобы собрать крохи ресурсов. Ну либо заплатить, это уж кому как. Нет возможности фармить ресурсы вообще — за уже пройденных боссов ничего не дают, единственная опция — рейды раз в 3 часа, которые автоматические и геймплея в этом нет. Вообщем, не рекомендую игру, если не готовы вкладываться.

После обновления пропал весь прогресс! Сбросился уровень и пропали все карты! Начинать с начала???

В целом игра интересная. Но много багов, постоянно что-то не работает. Основным минусом считаю что при покупке чего-то в игре может происходить сбой. Деньги списываются, а в игре покупка не проходит. При этом поддержка игры работает ужасно. Вам просто скажут что что-то сломалось и это не их проблемы.

A little to hard
The game is fun, the variety of things you can do and the simple mechanics are great. The game is a little too hard though, once you get to the 3rd “world” you’re stuck unless you pay real money. I’d love to advanced more in the game but I’ve been stuck for the last 3 months because I can’t win anything or upgrade anything. Players still should be able to advanced in a game without spending real money. Also for new cards, I’m sure y’all are imaginative enough 😉 can’t wait to see what new cards you come up with!

Used to be a good game
Prior to v2, I would have given this game 4.5 stars. It was a highly enjoyable little game. With the advent of v2, they ruined the game. It now requires extremely rare components to level up cards (I’ve been raiding the last week and gotten exactly 0 purple components). They also switched the game to 90% luck with the addition of spells (you get a choice from random 3 each round but some are way better than others) and crits (it’s impossible to plan for if/when a small % chance will come up). Unless things are fixed soon, I’m done with this game (and I’ve spent money on it in the past).
Easy to learn
Easy to learn card game, my card idea is a ballista that does double damage to enemies in the back row but needs to be manned by one of your other hero’s. Essentially taking you down to only three usable hero’s. I think it will add depth to the already challenging combat system.

The original version of this game was nothing short of addictive. That was short-lived once they did a big update and turned it into a game of chance where, not only can’t you count on knowing what damage will be coming or going, but it now also requires ridiculous amounts of multiple components to upgrade your characters. No doubt the changes were made to get players to spend more money. A perfect example of greed turning quality into garbage. RIP Card Heroes V1.

Terrible Update
New update completely ruined the game. Would give 0 stars if I could. Turned a game of skill into a game of luck. What a terrible decision.
Developer issues
The game over all is good…been playing a couple years, but the developers have issues all the time with their servers and blame it on players connectivity. This is frustrating and has caused people to quit the game.
Pay to play
Grate game excellent art and a ton to collect. Only thing is you hit a pretty big wall on the second day if you don’t buy keys. There’s no way to win in the area, or proceed with the story quests unless you drop a couple $$. The only way to make progress after the first week is they weakly challenge battles on Sundays. Where if you score high enough you can get good card experience…. The rest of it? Good like trying to move without some cash.

It gets stuck at the 100 percent and won’t start and when I even can get pass load screen and click fight, it does nothing,

The older version was better
I absolutely love(ed) this game. It was so much fun but after the big update to where I need daggers and staffs to be able to upgrade my characters, I can barely get them upgraded now. It’s definitely made the game less enjoyable to play when you struggle to upgrade your characters.
Arena
Love the game. People that don’t take their turn shouldn’t have an auto attack happen for them. Or they aren’t going to take a turn, it should be like they forfeit their turn. I got beat by someone that wasn’t even their just because they had better cards.
Slow connection
Game was great, now won't load. Keeps saying slow connection, everything else works.

The game concept is very good, graphics are good. At first I loved it. But I agree with a lot of other reviews on here. It is pay to win. You get stuck and can’t level up with out paying real cash or 3 months of monotonous farming losing battles.. too bad it could have been a good game or a nice flat rate game.

They delete bad reviews. Constant connections errors while playing. Shows slow connection while on WiFi or mobile. No matter if everything else works fine, they have a slow connection message. Because of the slow connections you lose your battles. And now I can’t connect at all. 0 stars!!!
Latest update very buggy
Game generally has fun character abilities and combos, and includes nice tactical combat. Who has spent the most usually determines the winner, of course, but I’ve gotten pretty far without spending money.
Pay to win :(
Interesting good game mechanic. Unfortunately game, it’s old school pay to win. I play this game 27 days and already hit the pay wall. In this game we use 2 type currency silver and gold. Both you can earn in the game hover when your card gets level 10 you struggle without paying. You have to pay gold for an auto - fight, upgrade card to level 5-10 gold, level 10 -100 gold to build clan buildings you have to contribute gold. To bay chest you need gold (yes, you don’t have to) but many powerful cards are available only in this way. When you level your cards to lvl 10 you start feeling your progression stop with out paying cards get minimum exp from fights you have to pay for silver that’s drain your resources. So: On + Nice graphics Good mechanic You don’t have to spend much time on the game On - Poor economy system much too much pay to win Not much to do whit your clan you invest a loot in to the buildings that don’t give much. Nothing to do whit your team mates
Gutes Spiel mit Fehlern
Das Spiel macht wirklich Spaß und ist super für zwischendurch. Man kann auch ohne Geld auszugeben weiterkommen und im PvP vorankommen. Es dauert aber natürlich länger und ist manchmal auch frustrierend, wenn man Gegner hat die in der Arena in tieferen Leveln sind und trotzdem bessere Karten haben. Das ist aber noch kein Grund für die zwei Sterne Abzug - so ist es halt. Nun die wirklichen Negativaspekte: 1: Die Karten mit Selbstheilung aktivieren sich häufig nicht, sowohl offline als auch im PvP. Das ist natürlich ein echter Gamechanger und zerstört den Spielspaß, wenn man auf Grund dieses Bugs die Partie verliert. 2: Das Matchmaking bei der Meisterschaft ist grauenhaft. Wenn man in der Qualifikationsrunde gegen einen Gegner spielt der in der Arena sieben Level über einem selbst ist, ist es komplett sinnlos daran teilzunehmen, daran ändert auch die Mini-Belohnung nichts. Das sind auf jeden Fall zwei Punkte die es zu beheben gilt, dann gibt es von mir auch fünf Sterne.
Lovely game
I love the game and it’s mechanics, the arena where you have to debate who goes first on a coin is a god decision as well, but the fact at the end of the round no matter who ends it even if it’s the person who went first, it goes to the person who won the coin toss, so players can play twice is a row technically, which makes it a huge disadvantage to lose the coin toss, it’s also difficult to level up characters seeing as how strong the enemies get in the campaign, my suggestion would to be able to let players play levels they already completed and gain rewards from it so we can keep progressing forward. All in all it’s a great game and I’m not the best at explaining but I hope this helps lead the game towards a better place, thanks for reading have a good day!
They ruined Christmas
Devs botched the Christmas event and rolled servers back erasing everything everyone did in game. They gave 3 days heroism and 150 snowflakes as compensation. Really disappointed. This is the kind of mishandling that makes players want to quit the game. Shame on you devs!

Too hard to play without spending money
This game is fun but you will quickly get stuck unless you spend money. There are not enough varied cards to construct different strategies to overcome this. Basically, you will be mostly using the same cards and without spending money, you will always lose. Edit to Dev Response: So your idea of “honing your skills” is getting a measly 10 gold everyday from the arena? You know it takes 450 gold to add 5k exp to a RANDOM 3 cards right. I spent 10 dollars on this game and I’m STILL stuck in the SECOND world in adventures. Opponents just have cards that are 3-5 levels above yours and due to lack of variety like I said, you will NEVER win unless you spend an astronomical amount of gold to level your cards. It takes 5 dollars to level up 3 RANDOM cards by one level. It costs one dollar to level anything above level 10. You do the math. Fun concept ruined by greed.
